My best friend and I booked a twin room for a girls overnight stay in London to visit the Tower of London which is literally across the road. The room was quite big and the beds were very comfortable. It was clean and had everything we needed. There was a nice bar in the reception area where we had a cocktail before we checked into our room. We would definitely recommend it for the cleanliness and the location.

We went up to the roof top bar and were a little disappointed with the view from the bar area as the outdoor part was not accessible when we went in there. It was also very expensive. £46 for 2 cocktails is outrageous so we had only 1 each and left.

Fast check in and helpful operators. The rooms are adequate, essentials and comfortable and first of all clean and sanitized. The position is strategic, 1 min by walk to tower hill underground station and 5 minutes by walk to tower bridge or Liverpool street. A quiet zone of London far from the traffic and chaotic borough. I highly recommend for trip like mine (3 days on Christmas period)

Everyone member of staff were engaging and friendly even when walking past & not just speaking to them. They were also very helpful & professional when communicating. We hate in the restaurant outside and the staff there were also excellent.

One moment when we were turned away from the sky bar at about 5.30pm the reception staff and SIA weren’t so welcoming. I believe it was due to it being very busy the staff seemed flustered but I felt like I was trying to enter a nightclub at closing time and as a resident I thought the explanation could have been better and not so blunt when I had my family with me. I understood from reception I could have booked which wasn’t explained by the Sky staff.

We experienced great service from the moment we arrived at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel London. The location of the hotel is fantastic. The rooms could do with an update and USB ports for phone charging. My parents had noise from construction or the elevator during their stay but liked their accessible room. My husband and I experienced noise that was easy to hear anytime someone walked by your room talking, or shouting on one occasion, however noise from outside the building or between rooms was next to nothing. I would stay at this hotel again, and recommend this hotel, as the staff were fantastic and the concierge was extremely helpful during our stay.

The most amazing welcome - a beautiful lady Hammett checked both my mother and I in and she was so welcoming - really chatty and asked about our plans - I very briefly mentioned I had lost my father in January so I was taking my mother to London as a little pick me up - we was in the room and the lovely lady had a gorgeous bottle of Prosecco and chocolates along with a card expressing her condolences and hoped we had a fab time despite the circumstances- what a credit to Hilton - I stay in many hotels including Hilton’s and I was blown away with Hammets kindness I really was and it made my mother smile - something she hadn’t done for a while - thank you so much and if I could employ this lady in my business I would - truly fabulous xx we need more Hammets in this world - thank you Catherine

Perfect location, great building, great views, convenient car parking, close to tourist attractions, very enjoyable breakfast, nice staff, nice foyer to just chill out in. Loved the cookie on arrival and the nice cool beer from the bar

Check in process took a bit long and then got locked out of one of our rooms after breakfast which took some time to sort out. We also received two letters about paying for the car park - one before 7am and one before 9am. Felt very intrusive. Pity that the Savage Garden wasn’t open a little earlier in the day. Our rooms were supposed to be near to each other, but were originally located on the 7th and 2nd floors. However, they were able to move them next to each other after we reminded them.

Location is fantastic and quiet, close to Roman ruins, markets, the Thames and being in The City means history is all around us looking at The Tower every day. Breakfast is excellent and the omelette was the best choice. Room was what we expected from previous visits, very quiet. Staff were fantastic and very helpful with an option to upgrade on the spot to get into a room early with access to the executive lounge when we arrived in the morning.

Nothing to dislike.

Room Facility

As being Muslim I asked staff at breakfast for halal food and answer was not proper. When I asked for omelette in breakfast as they said its chargeable. Its strange???? I was never asked for payment for something which we want to eat due to religious faith and the supervisor asked to pay additional charges. I used to stat at Tower Hotel, Millennium but they never asked for extra payment!!

Hotel location is really good. You can walk to the London Tower and London Bridge. And it is not too far from other turistic points if you´re into walking around. Room was pretty good too but a bit small. Good enough for solo travelers but I assume it would be a bit small for a couple. Breakfast was very good. It got a little crowed in the morning time, sometimes there were no tables available and the staff had to help. But other than that I really recomend the hotel.

I stayed for one week in the hotel! The room was cosy and clean every day and every time I was back, I was happy! Working staff of the hotel made my stay so special!!!! I would like to thank some divine people of the hotel who made my stay so special! Murtaza - a person who makes you feel truly at home with all people in the restaurant by being so hospitable and caring, he is such a professional of what he is doing and I love people who work with their Heart and soul, so Murtaza is definitely one of them!!! So grateful for him!!!! I would like to thank Simona, the very first person who greats you with a shining smile and brilliant energy to make your ritual of breakfast so special!!! She was definitely supporting each day with her complete understanding to even be useful when the restaurant was just preparing to open!!! My gratitude to her is infinite!!! I was also impressed by the attitude of caring of Abdul Malik, I was really touched by it!!! The person with a golden heart who cares not only about the hotel’s reputation, but also about your impression of your staying!!! I am truly grateful for that!!! And of course, when you visit the hotel and see the the shining star at the reception, it means you are greeted by a brilliant person named by Heena, she is such a diamond, she impacted on my positive stay so much!!! She is unique and she is such a professional and such a nice person who is doing her best to make your stay super special!!!! Thanks to these people my stay was amazing and I recommend to visit this hotel!!! I will also be back!!! I really wish the management team to figure out calls from rooms easily! Calls from room never worked!!! So to get the info, I had to go down and ask the reception! It’s not a big deal, but anyway, it’s about creating comfort!!! And lifts!!! I wish the system with cards in the lifts work more flexible!!! Thank you!
