We loved our stay at Bob W Commercial House. The location is perfect, very close to Spitalfields Market (which we really enjoyed) and the cool Shoreditch. Also, a short walk away from Liverpool Street Station, which is very well connected to all parts of the city. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with everything you might need (even a yoga mat for complimentary online yoga). The check-in was very smooth - we received a code on the Bob W online platform which we were able to access by an online check-in process prior to our arrival. Also, there is a locked luggage room inside the building that was accessible (and free of charge) from 5 am on the day of our arrival until 11 pm on the day of departure. So, yes, we would definitely come back to Bob W.

Lovely apartment, really spacious, nicely furnished. Best accommodation I've stayed in while in London so far. The bed was very comfy, the bathroom big enough for getting ready and the location of the flat was perfect. Would book again.

Unfortunately there was a horrible smell in the apartment from around early noon until 11pm from the restaurant across the street. We were unable to open our windows during that time as the apartment would be completely filled with an unpleasant old fried meat smell within seconds. Not really the accommodation's fault, but uncomfortable nonetheless. Also, the ventilation system was quite noisy until 11pm as well. I believe our apartment might have been the only one that had those problems.

The property was in a great location, easy to get to. The check in process was super smooth, every time I had a question the staff were attentive and friendly. It had absolutely everything I need and more and was very impressed with it. It was comfortable and full of wonderful thoughtful little touches. A perfect place to use as a base where I could work from as well. A lot more character and comfort than a normal hotel.

However, as a solo female traveller I did feel slightly uncomfortable not to have another lock on the door I could close from the inside. The key codes you receive are the same for the outside door, the luggage room, and the room keypad, so if anyone saw you type in one they could get into your room and there is no lock to prevent that once inside. I got nervous about that and wished there was a chain or deadbolt or something.

This place is ideally situated for Liverpool Street Station & Spitalfields. Our apartment was very spacious with many amenities. The bed was quite comfortable and a thick duvet and large pillows. Plus, the heating worked quite well and there are fans available. We had a short wait for our room to be cleaned (around 16:15) but this was fully communicated by phone and they gave us a complimentary late check-out till 14:00!

There is a tiny amount of mould on grout and shower screen which can easily remedied.

Everything is great. Location, option for luggage room, i really liked the website which had options to get early check in or late checkout. Most of the things were really great. I will definitely be back

The shower water pressure is way too weak. It was really hard to shower. The walls are really thin and sometimes when someone opens the door on the outside hall you feel like they open the door to your apartment.

I will be recommending this to everyone we had a wonderful stay. The apartment lives up to expectations in every way. It Was a beautiful and safe place to come back to at the end of each day, and literally has everything you could need. Things to be aware of is the stairs, there is no elevator for people who require accessibility, or people who would struggle to bring heavy bags up a few flights. However this wasn’t an issue for us. The only other thing to be aware of, it can get a little warm in there (we were at the tail end of summer) but it wasn’t unbearable, they provide a good cooling unit next to the bed. This wouldn’t be an issue in the colder months. The traffic noise was not at all an issue for us, if anything it was minimal and soothing. We would 100% encourage anyone to book Bob.w commercial street and we will be booking again. You quickly become part of the vibrant neighbourhood and are well connected to the rest of London.

Great accommodation, bigger than expected with more extras than expected.

The code system to get it. I couldn't work out how to find it. The message system took me over 2 hours to be given it. This I found very stressful.

Actually I must confess it was really the first time that I could access without any complication. In history with other apartments there have always been some small error with the access code. So that surprised me positively. Also information how to arrive from airport was provided so that made everything even easier. Apartment is just 5 min walk from Aldgate East tube station and so close to Tower Bridge. Apartment was very clean an cozy. It contained absolutely everything to spend multiple nights. There is possibility to cook and also wash clothes and iron them. I loved the concept and small surprises that I saw. I could see that they care about the environment which is also topic close to my heart. I enjoined the size of apartment. Separate living room with comfy couch and separate bedroom. Everything was so fresh. Bed was comfortable with good pillows. Also extra pillows and blanket were in the closet. For a great surprise there was also mobile charger for Samsung and I Phone. I came from EU and without their charger I would not have the possibility to charge my phone. It came very handy. I am truly happy to found this apartment and I really do recommend. One of the best stay I have had abroad!

I liked the location, the facilities, the cleanliness, the helpfulness of the staff, and the comfort. It is well furnished, and has a small kitchen and washing machine with everything else a traveller needs to feel comfortable. I liked the fact that just opposite the entry door there is a restaurant with delicious vegan food (please book in advance as it is very busy), and next door is a restaurant with good Thai food. It's a walking distance from Liverpool Street Station where one can commute with ease to Heathrow terminals and 15 min walk from Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. I felt like I have a home close to the areas in London I wanted to spend time at. I'll definitely use again when in London. I like the Bob W house rules, and the climate sustainability of the offered accommodation.

I travelled light and the lack of elevator in the building wasn't an issue, but it could be for someone with lots of luggage. And, I felt hot in the room as the weather in London was sunny and hot around 30deg C. Considering the usual weather in the UK, cooling isn't a priority, but it felt hot last week 😅.

No aircon - it was very hot in London and we couldn’t open any windows in the lounge room. But we do understand that it’s not really the accommodation fault as London doesn’t get many heat waves. The accommodation tried their best to help us with fans.
