It is really well situated, straddling Whitechapel and Brick Lane. It’s 10 minutes walk from Liverpool Street Station. It’s clean, well decorated and comfortable. The staff cannot do enough for you. The bathroom cosmetics supplied were lovely. I really like the way the rooms were designed - a cube with a toilet/ shower room. Compact and welcoming. It was such a welcome treat after having to move there from the disastrous room just that I had been booked into just along Brick Lane. Wonderful, I cannot recommend highly enough.

I liked everything!

Good location. Loved the feel of the property and it was kept in excellent condition. It was very useful to be able to drop bags early in the morning before check-in. Staff & the food were excellent.

The room was quite small especially the bathroom & shower. Whilst sitting on the toilet you are a couple of feet away from your partner’s head (whilst they lie in bed), without a proper door in between (ie just a sliding door that does close fully). Shower cubicle was small with a shower curtain.

Great hotel… I had a double room, compact in size but perfect for my 1 night stay. Location was great. About 10 mins to Liverpool Street or Whitechapel stations, and less than 5 to Aldgate East tube. Also very easy for Buses. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Nice touches in the room… radio, books and TV. I had the full English breakfast which was excellent

Nothing bad to say really. Perhaps some USB ports in the rooms, and if your very tall or large person you might find the rooms a bit compact.

The situation, ambiance. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed and felt like home. The room was small yet lovely. A roof top terrace with a dominating view was perfect. And the breakfast in the pub/cafe, with locals dropping by, was great! Definitely stay there again.

It was a very warm day and somebody had forgetten to turn the radiator off, so the room was boiling! Had to leave the windows open, but being on a road, above a pub and on the first floor, it was extremely noisy. The fan and ear plugs helped, but the windows had to be closed at some point.. so hot I was!! 😆

Me and my boyfriend stayed 11th of May to 13th of May. Everything was great! The building, restaurant and rooms are very cozy and clean. The food was really amazing! (ex. the duck, panise and mutton chops). The staff was very friendly too and the hotel is just around the corner near a trainstation so it is easy to travel around and because of that it was easy to connect to London Heathrow, Elizabeth line or Uber. We found it helpful to buy the train tickets to the airport beforehand. Thank you! I wished we could have stayed longer :-)

The only thing is that I could point out is that it is a bit noisy at night but for me it didn’t really matter since i found it add to the london atmosphere (+ they hand you earplugs if you want to use those)

Breakfast and staff were great, location - really good, hip Brick Lane full of cool shops, cafes and restaurants, walking distance to the metro, market and tesco. Very diverse and pedestrian friendly. For the guest of the hotel there is a great rooftop terrace available with the view of the city.

Soundproofing could be better, but didn't interfere with our sleep, even though we were on a low floor. Bathroom is very small and basic, but adequate.

Even if the rooms were smaller than we expected, it was very clean and comfortable. Don’t expect much to see in a room. It has only the necessary things and a bit more, like daily fresh water supply, warm blankets, and jazz radio. The breakfast exceeded all our expectations. Try French toast and avocado toast. The pastry is of a good quality. Unexpectedly they have one of the best coffees we tried in London. Usually, the hotels make economy on beverages, but not them. The restaurant is pet friendly but not the hotel, so don’t get confused or angry when they will not allow you to stay with pets. Worth the money!

The bathroom was tiny. It was a bit inconvenient to take a douche, making the whole floor wet. Also, there was no work desk as expected in hotels with bigger rooms. Maybe they have such space, but in my case, I didn't have any necessity in it. It wasn't a downgrade for me, but maybe for some this info is important.

The room was super cute, decorated really nicely and the roof top was my favourite! Being on the top floor and having all those stairs were the only think that was a bit annoying with bags ect but would definitely stay here again. Oh also the bathroom was kinda odd! You would see through the door and not very romantic with a partner watching them use the toilet. Over all a great stay though. Staff were all really happy and friendly Thanks

Excellent location, with updated rooms and a delicious breakfast. Really charming place that feels off the beaten path while being super well connected (just a 3 minute walk to the tube!). For the location and the comfy beds I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The manager (or owner?) was a bit rude with some of the staff. It made hanging out downstairs in the bar uncomfortable when I arrived and wanted to grab a bite to eat.

This is a really lovely pub right in the heart of East London. A stone's throw from Brick lane and a short walk to Spitalfields, Liverpool Street etc. The rooms are comfortable and there was very little noise at night (we had a street facing room). Staff were super friendly and helpful and the bar is a lovely place to end the evening - we didn't have dinner here but the food looked delicious. Breakfast was also great. Highly recommend - we will be back!

Get down early for breakfast as quite a few items were unavailable when we got there - but it was all still delicious!
