We loved the location. Breakfast was good but could be left out a little longer during the week.(till 11:00) Bed was comfortable.

While the washers and dryers are a nice convenience they were full quite often. Also, the dryers did not dry the clothes . The downstairs could have been cleaned more. We kept our eye on a ledge that was dusty and never cleaned the entire time we were there. Some of the staff were not knowledgeable about things hotels should be able to answer. Cabs, locations, etc..

Staff is overall very friendly and willing to help. We had a few requests during our stay and all of them were promptly answered. The room is spacious enough for a family of three and is overall quite comfortable. The kitchen facilities are very handy if you want to have meals in the room. The hotel also allows guests to take their breakfast into the room, which is helpful if you are a bit late for breakfast downstairs. Location is fantastic! The Bermondsey area is super pleasant and very close to the Tower Bridge, Hays Galeria, and Borough Market. There are a couple of buses just around the corner that take you into central London (even Greenwich) easily. The London Bridge underground station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There's also a supermarket a stone's throw away if you want to buy food to heat up and eat in the room to save on eating expenses. We spent 8 nights, and It's the second time we stay at this hotel in a 6-year interval. We're definitely staying there again when we return to London.

Although sound insulation is good between rooms, noise from the hallway in the mornings can be annoying. In the future , we'll likely request a room far from the lifts and stairs. The sofa bed that makes a second bed in the room can be a little uncomfortable, especially for long stays. We'd suggest covering the base cushions of the sofa with an additional thin mattress for additional comfort. That said, our stay was great and we congratulate the staff for the service.

The location is fantastic, within a short 10-15min walk of London Bridge station and the Shard. Plenty of choice in restaurants, bars, pubs and coffee shops nearby. Staff were really friendly and helpful (we got an upgrade to a suite we think because we were celebrating a birthday) Breakfast is quite varied and covers the usual hot and cold items you would expect, you can also take items up to your room which is a real positive (especially as at busy times you may struggle for a seat in the breakfast area) The room was really cosy and comfortable, with a kitchenette and coffee machine as well as a sofa and two TVs.

We had a few minor problems with the bathroom, it had a sliding door which got stuck at one point and came off it's runner, fortunately one of us knew what to do to get it working again. The shower looked as if it was past it's best and didn't seem to be the right one for the fitting as it wouldn't stay in place. Due to the layout space for towels was limited and there was just two hooks. One side of the bed doesn't have a shelf or table, even a little one would help for a light/phone or clock. The hotel is down an alleyway off Bermondsey Road so you could miss the entrance if you don't see the sign on the corner.

The unit was very well equipped in the kitchen area if you had wanted to cook. Bathroom small but nice. It was good to have a comfortable couch to relax on as well. We liked the room and the separated bedroom. Location was a good walk to the tube but locally there were plenty of restaurants and a small Waitrose not too far away. Generally the location felt nice and safe. Breakfast was nice and there was an indication of busy times published so you could avoid queues in the breakfast room. Staff at breakfast were lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

The Heat pump/ air conditioning unit was very noisy and it would be too noisy to use at night and even in the daytime. really. It was annoying. Not sure if this was just in our room and luckily we didn't have to use it The hotel gave us a small heater just in case we were cold.

Well overall experience was pleasant. Location is reasonably good. London Tower Bridge is just walking distance from the hotel. Although there is no inhouse restaurant the space provided for dining (used for breakfast) helps us to get food from other restaurants and dine with our family like what we do at home. Rooms are reasonably good, but not too spacious.

Tried to recollect anything that I found not acceptable. But I do not find much to talk against the property. Inhouse dining could have helped. Since the hotel is a bit inside and off the main road, vehicles cannot enter and come in front of the lobby. So, carrying one's baggage from the road to the lobby, especially with a big family with us, proved to be a bit of challenge.

The location is excellent, with the C10 bus stop just a few meters away, connecting the hotel to the city's main attractions. The subway and train stations are also nearby. The breakfast menu varied each day during our stay, and peak hours were clearly indicated both in the room and in the common areas. It was great to have complimentary access to the gym and laundry facilities, as well as a living room equipped with books and a television. The rooms were well-equipped with everything needed, even including dishwasher tablets.

Great varied breakfast hot choices, continental, although very busy continually from 08:00hrs. Staff were very good in managing the seating of guests who were waiting for tables. Small kitchenette- clean & well equipped, great if you want to cook basic meals or reheat food Comfortable bed, bedding & towels, large shower with hot water Short 15 min walk to London Bridge Station & London attractions are easily accessible Safe wasn't working, staff were very responsive with request for assistance to lock our personal belongings in the safe Good night's sleep, little noise heard from other rooms, corridors

Nothing to report

Great location in Bermondsey. Had a family room with a separate sleeping area & kitchenette. Nice restaurant area & really convenient to local restaurants in a lovely area. Lovely pastries for breakfast. Staff helpful. Hotel set back from the street ,so no cars passing by.

Not much room around the main bed in any direction - a bit cosy. Breakfast was very busy on one of two mornings so queuing for a table and had to ask for cutlery, plates etc as rather hectic. Breakfast area layout for cooked breakfast rather awkward as area a bit compact. Bathroom small.

On the check in date I got an email that we will be staying at the sister Residence Inn London Bridge. We did get the same room style and breakfast, although both hotels charged me (it was refunded later when I called). Therefore this review is for the other property, really. We loved the studio room, it was a bit strange, though that the bed was at the entrance door and the rest of the room at the back by the window. All was clean and cozy, nice modern decor. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, great bread choices.

The staff could appear friendlier. I also felt a little confused about the relocation. One strange thing was I asked where the toilets are while in the restaurant, and was directed to the basement next to the gym. The single bathroom was busy there so a member of staff took me through a hall into the staff area toilets. This would be ok with me, but in ladies rooms there was no soap, but shampoo instead for washing hands. I ended up using the disabled toilet which also had a missing soap altogether. Not great.

I asked the staff to make the sofa bed ready to sleep before arrival and they accommodated that. So our one bedroom accommodation turned into two double bedrooms which was perfect for our little family of 3. The breakfast buffet was really good too and it meant that one of us could take my son to to spend sometime before we start moving.

The rooms are too small and the location of the toilet/shower area wasn’t great in both stays. One was just in front of the door and the other right beside the bed. The location also is not close to any tube station- you need at least 15 minutes walk.
