Nice hotel, well located, great staff. Breakfast was very good, next step up from Holiday Inn Express, which for the price I wasn’t expecting much at all. Free water, biscuits, fridge and desk in a very spacious (for London) room. Nicely decorated bathroom and bar dining room. Only down sides were windows not opening only temp control so room felt “stuffy,” lack of sufficient lighting in the room and bedroom walls looked quite dirty in places. The last one is a bit strange as rooms were clean and tidy and appears to be have been/is being decorated recently and as mentioned, the bathroom was lovely. Staff were all great and helpful. After staying at a number of hotels in London this one rates very highly on value for money.

The hotel is located in a very attractive location, very close to Tower Bridge and in the immediate vicinity of bus stops of several bus lines that make it very easy and quick to get to the city center. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and available for the necessary information. Breakfast at the hotel is very good, tasty and has enough choices for everyone's taste. Near the hotel there are nice restaurants, fast food chains and self-service markets. The hotel room was spacious, the beds are comfortable.

The walls in the hotel room were quite dirty from the chair at the working station. The chair at the working station was quite bad. There was a lot of dust on the furniture.

When I booked this hotel I was a little suspicious how can you get a 4* hotel with breakfast in this area in December for such a great price…it must be something wrong. But it wasn’t, everything was excellent! Of course I can’t compare this hotel to some premium hotel chains cause that wouldn’t be fair, but for the price you pay, you get really the best room, breakfast, comfortable bed, daily housekeeping, great view (the Shard), own bathroom, ect. It really contributed to overall London experience, we loved it!

The location was great: very close to the bus station, a supermarket, and within walking distance of Tower Bridge, which was super convenient. The room was fine: clean and quiet, and we didn’t hear the neighbours at all, which we really appreciated. We didn’t have breakfast at the place, so I can’t comment on that, but overall it was a good stay.

The windows couldn’t be opened, so we couldn’t get any fresh air. The air conditioning helped keep the room comfortable, but it was a bit loud, especially at night, which made it a little hard to sleep sometimes.

The beds

Being asked to pay a service charge, I’m not sure what it would be for? The £215 charge was sufficient. It made me feel embarrassed at the reception, the girls laughed, I asked what they were laughing at, they said oh nothing???

I have to say that we didn't know what to expect after reading some reviews. And we have been gladly surprised 😊 All the staff was super nice. Specially Disha at the recepcion, who was very helpful and extremely kind. John and Ranjit at the buffet really nice and charming. The room was very clean and comfortable. That's true that we had a triple for 2 people. So it was perfect. For 3 people could have been a little small. Not enough clothes hangers for 3 people. The bathroom was for disable people, so it was spacious and very comfy. The location was very good because we have only used bus and we had some bus stops very closed by. And what to say about breakfast. If you eat everything, there is no problem at all. Pastry, salty, English breakfast, yogurts, some fruit. For me has been very good. We had a great stay. Thanks to everybody.

There was a door between bedrooms (instead of wall) and we could perfectly hear the TV and hair dryer from the room next door. The room needs more light. I wanted to read at the sofa bed, and at night was difficult.

Great location for Guy’s hospital. Room and bathroom were very well designed and pleasant to be in. Great wifi connection for working. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I would have given it 10 if the staff had gone the extra mile to help me get a late checkout after my husband was rushed into ICU unexpectedly after surgery. As it was, it was extremely difficult for us. We appreciated that there weren’t many of our room type available that day but they could have offered an upgrade to another guest if necessary. And it was exceptional circumstances. He had just nearly died. So my overall feeling I was left with was that the hotel is great but the staff aren’t empowered to deal sympathetically with a situation like that.

The hotel is conveniently located about 2.5 km from central London. There are several bus routes within easy walking distance, and a tube station 15 min walk away. A small supermarket is located opposite the hotel (closed for renovation in Feb 2025) and multiple cafes and restaurants nearby. A laundromat situated 300 meters away. Approximately 1.1 km from the Bermonsey markets. Reasonable breakfast and rooms serviced daily. Very clean. Individual heating control in the room, so you can choose to turn on or off as desired.Iron and ironing board in room. Fridge and tea / coffee making facilities.

The lighting in the rooms was fairly dingy, which made reading difficult. The heater kept turning itself on when we walked into the room, so if you don't want it, keep an eye out, and turn it off. Not enough coat hangers or hanging space.

Lovely, stylish and cozy hotel less than 10 mins walk from London Bridge station; the street is also full of lovely cafes and there is a supermarket just in face of the hotel. Location is perfect as you can walk anywhere or get public transport easily. The room is clean, comfy bed and a stunning view over London skyline which I didn’t expect. Tea, coffee, water and cookies in the room. Staff is super friendly, smiley and kind, they try to accommodate any request. I booked a triple room and they upgraded me giving me an extra room so we could be more comfortable being three people! I felt really cuddled and I loved my stay! Breakfast is quite rich, but once again the highlight is this place is the staff!!

Rooms are a bit dark, there is not much artificial light, which is lovely to enjoy the view at night though. One light above the mirror in one our our room didn’t work and did not get fixed so it wasn’t very easy to see if you wanted to put some make up on or get ready in front of that mirror…Apart from that nothing to complain about!

Location and competitive price for the area. Room with first floor terrace access was bright and well appointed. Front desk team go out of their way to help you (thank you!).

The standard rooms have sealed windows and as the carpet has seen better days it is heavily sprayed with deodoriser. Result = claustrophobia and allergy galore. Pick a better room (first floor, with glass doors onto terrace) if this is an issue for you too. This comment needs to be given contest - most London hotels are in much, much worse condition.
