The room was quite small, but clean and well-maintained. The housekeeping service was very good, the cleaner was there every morning, regularly changed the towels, and was always available to assist with anything we needed. The location is outstanding. There are numerous shops and cafés nearby, and the metro station is right next door which made getting around incredibly convenient. Despite being so central, the area was peaceful in the evenings, allowing for a quiet and restful stay. Overall, a very pleasant stay with great value for the price. Would happily recommend to others looking for a clean, central, and well-serviced accommodation.
A couple of minor suggestions: the toilet area could feel a bit fresher, and it would be helpful to have a toilet cleaning brush available in the bathroom.

Was initially confused how to enter the property, but there was a member of staff at the reception in the cafe (?) next door. Super helpful. Nice bed, clean and equipped ensuite (get that, if you can). Bit smallish but I've stayed in even smaller places outside London for the same price. Also had a floor pillar fan, appreciated on a day when the temperature neared 30C.
Every hotel room should have this: Either a dedicated space to put your luggage case down, or one of those fold-out stands for it. It's not a big investment. And, it being and old London building, the staircases are a bit difficult to navigate with luggage.

Lovely friendly manager. Helpful and kind. The room was just what we needed for our one night stay in London. We liked the anti fog mirror and the rain shower head for 2 people.
It was sooo hot! I acknowledge that weather cannot be helped but there is no air con, and the fan in the room is cheap and just circulates hot air around the room at low speed. The carpets were grubby with stains/dirt, and the shower slightly mouldy on the grout which was a shame as all in all the hotel is quite nice. One of our shower towels had a hole in also which we laughed about but it’s not what you expect when you pay money to stay somewhere.

The location was perfect, above the Borough station. It was clean and quiet, there was a hairdryer, electric kettle, tea/coffee, and milk in sticks. Looked very clean. Easy access to premises with codes, no need a key, you don't need to worry that you may lose it. When I wrote to staff, they responded immediately and were very helpful. There was free Wi-Fi. Bed and pillows were very comfortable 😌. There were two comfy armchairs, tea table with tea, cups and everything, wooden bench, table with a chair, kettle was very clean inside, plenty of sockets in the room no less than 9 in total, maybe more. There was an electric heater that worked very well.
When I booked on Booking.com I ticked the box that I need two beds, but I guess that information didn't go further, as we had one king-size bed. So I guess next time I'll have to write it with words in the notes to the booking, because with my other friends who booked at the same time happened same story. But it was partly my fault, later there were loads of confirmation where it was written King. There was no soap for hand wash in our room, the bottle was empty. One reading lamp didn't work

The location was perfect for us. Access to one of the trains is literally right next door. It was a nice walk to the Borough Market, Tower Bridge and the area. I thought it was a self check in property only but I was very happy to learn that if you enter the door to the right of the property door, there was a lady you can check in with and answer questions. She was there when we left also so that was nice. The room was clean and quiet. The pillows and bed linens were nice and comfortable. It’s not luxurious or spacious but for the location and the cost, I would stay here again!
The room was very small and very basic but we weren’t there long so it worked fine for our needs. The bed linens were clean and comfortable but something was funny with our mattress and it was kinda higher at our feet than by our head. I’m not sure why but like I mentioned, we weren’t there long and it was clean so it wasn’t a big deal to us. Be ready for tight, steep stairs with your luggage.

Clean and comfy with a good hospitality tray.Top quality toiletries. It was quiet despite being on a main road excellent secondary glazing .For the money, it's unbeatable value. It's a great location Definitely will stay again .
Getting the room serviced, there wasn't a clear system to request this. However, I messaged the property, and they said it would be serviced the next day. It was and to a high standard It didn't bother us at all but no staffon site there was a phone to gain assistance

LOVED the location. It is LITERALLY next door to Borough Underground station, which made travelling a breeze. Plus you have lots of shops and eateries around, and the famous Borough Market is just a 5 minute walk away. Rooms were clean and comfortable with adequate ventilation. Another plus point was that it was very quiet, despite being centrally located, which meant we could get a good night's rest. We also had a bit of an issue with the door lock not working one night, but the staff on call were very helpful and the problem was resolved promptly. Great value for money, highly recommend this place, especially if staying with family.
The building does not have a lift, which is fine, but there is also no storage area where you could stash larger bags for the duration of your stay, which meant that we had to lug them up 2 floors and then down again when checking out. It is always advisable to travel light, but in this case it was unavoidable for us to have heavy luggage. The staff member at the desk carried one of our bags up the stairs (we managed the other two ourselves) which we appreciated very, very much.

The staff were fab and made check in and luggage storage a breeze (although the storage space is small so more than 2 big suitcases would be an issue). Room was fit for purpose no frills but comfortable and had everything we needed. Location was spot on.
Its not a didnt like just an observation that our shower room/bath room was a bit mouldy. Not from not being cleaned but water damage over some time. Would definitely stay again!!

Close to the tube, good shower etc. Bed was comfy and secure, easy check-in, nice clean towels. Location and price were fantastic!
Lock to the apartment door stuck a lot. We constantly had trouble getting in both with the code or phone. Took several attempts every time - might need to check the door handle. Fan in the bathroom on constantly and what sounded like a generator outside the window - but these were low level noises and fine with ear plugs.

The location is incredible, it is right next to the Underground station and within walking distance to the river's bank, Shakespear's Globe and of course Borough Market. It is a fantastic place to stay if you plan to explore London. So many cool places on the south bank to explore on foot. It is easy to catch metro or a bus too. Our room was super comfortable and clean. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay on the south bank. I will most probably book it again when we plan our next London trip :)
