The location was perfect for us. Access to one of the trains is literally right next door. It was a nice walk to the Borough Market, Tower Bridge and the area. I thought it was a self check in property only but I was very happy to learn that if you enter the door to the right of the property door, there was a lady you can check in with and answer questions. She was there when we left also so that was nice. The room was clean and quiet. The pillows and bed linens were nice and comfortable. It’s not luxurious or spacious but for the location and the cost, I would stay here again!

The room was very small and very basic but we weren’t there long so it worked fine for our needs. The bed linens were clean and comfortable but something was funny with our mattress and it was kinda higher at our feet than by our head. I’m not sure why but like I mentioned, we weren’t there long and it was clean so it wasn’t a big deal to us. Be ready for tight, steep stairs with your luggage.

The location was perfect, above the Borough station. It was clean and quiet, there was a hairdryer, electric kettle, tea/coffee, and milk in sticks. Looked very clean. Easy access to premises with codes, no need a key, you don't need to worry that you may lose it. When I wrote to staff, they responded immediately and were very helpful. There was free Wi-Fi. Bed and pillows were very comfortable 😌. There were two comfy armchairs, tea table with tea, cups and everything, wooden bench, table with a chair, kettle was very clean inside, plenty of sockets in the room no less than 9 in total, maybe more. There was an electric heater that worked very well.

When I booked on Booking.com I ticked the box that I need two beds, but I guess that information didn't go further, as we had one king-size bed. So I guess next time I'll have to write it with words in the notes to the booking, because with my other friends who booked at the same time happened same story. But it was partly my fault, later there were loads of confirmation where it was written King. There was no soap for hand wash in our room, the bottle was empty. One reading lamp didn't work

Clean and comfy with a good hospitality tray.Top quality toiletries. It was quiet despite being on a main road excellent secondary glazing .For the money, it's unbeatable value. It's a great location Definitely will stay again .

Getting the room serviced, there wasn't a clear system to request this.However, I messaged the property, and they said it would be serviced the next day. It was and to a high standard It didn't bother us at all but no staffon site there was a phone to gain assistance

LOVED the location. It is LITERALLY next door to Borough Underground station, which made travelling a breeze. Plus you have lots of shops and eateries around, and the famous Borough Market is just a 5 minute walk away. Rooms were clean and comfortable with adequate ventilation. Another plus point was that it was very quiet, despite being centrally located, which meant we could get a good night's rest. We also had a bit of an issue with the door lock not working one night, but the staff on call were very helpful and the problem was resolved promptly. Great value for money, highly recommend this place, especially if staying with family.

The building does not have a lift, which is fine, but there is also no storage area where you could stash larger bags for the duration of your stay, which meant that we had to lug them up 2 floors and then down again when checking out. It is always advisable to travel light, but in this case it was unavoidable for us to have heavy luggage. The staff member at the desk carried one of our bags up the stairs (we managed the other two ourselves) which we appreciated very, very much.

The location is incredible, it is right next to the Underground station and within walking distance to the river's bank, Shakespear's Globe and of course Borough Market. It is a fantastic place to stay if you plan to explore London. So many cool places on the south bank to explore on foot. It is easy to catch metro or a bus too. Our room was super comfortable and clean. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay on the south bank. I will most probably book it again when we plan our next London trip :)

The location was great and the room was nice with comfortable beds. Nice, clean, shared bathroom, and I'm not sure how many people can stay in each room, but there were not too many rooms on our floor, so not too many people sharing a bathroom. Everything looked as photographed. We were told on arrival that our dog would not be able to spend over 2 hours unaccompanied in the room due to the temperature in the rooms getting too hot. This was a May visit and the weather was warm one day, but it did get hot in the room. There was a small fan provided that helped a lot. Overall great value for the price and an excellent location walking distance from a lot of cool spots and super close to the tube.

Just be prepared to crack open the window if you stay in the summer as the rooms get hot. The fan provided was good though.

There was a last minute maintenance problem with the room I booked at Borough and I was given the opportunity to change my booking to the Tower Bridge Hotel. Therefore this review is based on my stay at Tower Bridge. The person - Deborah - who informed me of the problem handled the situation very well, found me a suitable alternative and made the transfer process easy. Also when I had trouble finding the hotel, the customer service helpline was very helpful

Frustrated by the fact that the there was no electric socket where the kettle was set up

Location right next to Borough Station is fantastic. The building doesn't look like much from outside but the bedroom was surprisingly spacious. Internally is was decorated in a modern style and was clean.

Shower was cold for some reason and both mornings I had to turn the thermostat up to maximum. Even then it would run cold every now and then. I had booked a king size bed but in reality it was two single beds pushed together. The fitting of the sheets kind of made up for this, but you could still feel the join between the two quite strongly.

Easy check in, loved the security so no one else but the guest could walk in. Everything was kept clean and tidy, even all the shared bathrooms. The location was perfect, central to everything, and so convenient for the tune station.

Toilet on our floor was broken so we had to go down stairs every time, and the stairs are very steep so this was a little inconvenient

The room had everything we needed (en suite, towels, electricity sockets, kettle and refreshments) in as much space as we needed. It was clean and tidy.

Our stay coincided with works happening in the room above -drilling, hammering etc. which were very noisy. After we checked in it lasted for a couple of hours before we needed to head out. Didn't hear anything again before we checked out the following morning though, so not too impactful.
