Location was good though a fair walk from the nearest tube station. It has a defined, cool vibe which we enjoyed very much and the staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and fun with its iPad controlled lighting, aircon, tv and blinds. Breakfast, although a little pricey, was good and plentiful with no limit to how much you could have. Decent coffee too.

The aircon only went down to 18 degrees and the fan was not very powerful - a problem only as we had just walked a couple of miles in hot sun before arriving and needed to cool down!

Fantastic location, great bar and lovely staff. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and close to transport.

Room was very hot even with aircon set to 18 degrees it definitely never got there. Room size was very small - really is a place to crash and sleep rather than to spend any time in or work in

The hotel was modern and stylish. Staff were friendly, and the self check in system was quick and convenient. You are given the option of a higher or lower floor room, facing inwards or outwards of the hotel. In the room itself you have an IPad that controls everything in the room, from the temperature/climate of the room, the day blinds and black out curtains, the colour of the light in the bathroom (many options) and each light itself. The TV in the room was sizable and had Chromecast capability, along with normal TV channels. Everything felt convenient.

There were some things in the room that me and my partner were unsure of. The bathroom door didn't have a lock or close all the way without a gap at the bottom and top. Although the tablet was convenient - it was abit temperamental at times. Some options you turned on or off would do nothing, so would have to close the tablet and start over. The curtains were slow to close and you would have to keep the button held down the whole time to get them to close all the way. Also, my partner was disappointed to find there was no kettle in the room.

The lobby/communal living-room was excellent - a relaxing atmosphere with varied and comfortable seating; it felt very safe and welcoming for solo travellers like myself. I loved the bright vibrant colours and all the quirky "extras" - books in the room (I read them all), the balloon doggy bookends, the display album of gorgeous photographs in the communal area. The bedroom layout worked really well. The ipad was easy to use. It was great having a fridge. All the staff were extremely approachable, friendly and helpful.

I need a cool room in order to sleep well. The lowest temperature setting was 18 degrees. I need 16 degrees for night-time. The result was I slept badly because I got too warm, even with the cool packs I brought with me.

It was a very beautiful, clean and modern hotel, in a very good location. It had many technological features. Wonderful lobby where you can sit and work, with a 24-hour bar. The staff is very polite. Huge, comfortable bed and a large window overlooking the street. You could control everything in the room from an app. If I visit London again, I will definitely stay there. Good value for money.

The room temperature which was standard. Even at the highest level, it wasn’t very warm. The room is rather small for two people, especially if they are not a couple. But for one person is perfect. It would be convenient to have a trash bin in the room as well, not just in the bathroom.

Had a very pleasant stay here for 3 nights. The hotel is modern, colourful and has a very nice ambiance, all staff are very friendly and on hand to support without issue. Absolutely loved the hotel concept overall, I think they have really thought about guest experience here. Check-in and check-out is very swift and can all be done by yourself on touch screens or by staff if you prefer-which means no queues, always a big green tick! 😊 The rooms are practical, lovely big comfortable beds with large tv, everything in your room (lights, blinds, tv, heating) is all controlled by an iPad which is a brilliant idea - well done CitizenM! Room was lovely and clean and they have a good attitude to sustainability with room maintenance. Looking forward to visiting again in the future- we will be back!

No negatives, just be comfortable with who you share a room with, the shower/toilet is located in the room without a wall to divide it but there is still privacy. Maybe housekeeping could also start hoovering a bit later on a Sunday morning? 7:50am was a bit too early..😊

Hotel decor; staff very friendly and accommdating; clean and nicely decorated room, appropriately sized bathroom and shower, and located near London Bridge train station. One can access the whole of London and trains that travel outside London thur the London Bridge station. Near the Borough Market that house numerous types of restaurants, budget to white table cloth and food from different countries. There's a market one block away. Great food, veggies and drink selection that can be placed in the room refrig. Felt very safe thru out my stay. Grest place for solo women traveler.

It is a bear to find the hotel from the London Bridge train station if it's your first time in the area. No coffee in the room. It's a 45 min drive from the airport. My Uber ride to the airport totalled $78, one way.

The room offers exceptional comfort, despite its compact size. Everything—lights, temperature, media, and even cleaning services—can be effortlessly controlled through an iPad provided in the room. Conveniently placed power outlets are abundant, catering to all your needs. The bed, mattress, and pillows are truly outstanding, ensuring a restful stay!

I appreciated the cozy ambiance created by the atrium view, and the design concept was quite appealing. However, the proximity of other rooms directly across made it uncomfortable to fully open the blinds and curtains.

Every detail was excellent. The staff were helpful, always on hand and friendly from the moment we arrived and it felt like a really impressive, cohernet team. The quirky concept theme is bright and inviting and the room was superb -- great tech, amazingly large and comfortable bed with a choice of harder and softer pillows. The room was really clean and the way the space was used is beautifully designed. Good shower and the cubicle bathroom works well. The room was also really quiet -- even overlooking the road the only noise was the odd siren and there was no noise from other rooms in the hotel. Blackout blinds were great at night for a good sleep. The breakfast was superb -- long hours and huge range of options -- cooked breakfast, French pastries, fruit, yoghurts and cereals or a range of salmon, cold meats, avocado... And having a barista on hand to make whatever coffee you prefer, including plant milks, was much appreciated. Water (still and sparkling) is available in any amount to take to the room -- so much better than individual bottles. And the location is excellent -- close the Tate, Borough Market and London Bridge train station.

There were no downsides to this place. We had a great stay and the staff were superb. Nothing to dislike.

As always, the great thing about Citizen M is that it’s a hotel offering a stylish, modern, and thoughtfully designed experience. The public spaces are enjoyable and well-planned, with excellent food options adding to the appeal. The rooms are small but immensely practical, with superb functionality—especially the lighting and media features—ensuring a great night’s sleep. However, the lack of small touches, like complimentary water in the rooms, is a minor let-down. Overall, it’s a high-quality, highly recommended option for frequent travellers looking for simplicity and style done right.

As a frequent user of CitizenM, I noticed the room felt a bit smaller this time, especially in terms of practicality for business use. I know the room sizes or the product haven’t changed, so it may just be that I had more business attire with me than usual, which made the space feel less functional compared to previous stays. That said, I still think this is an excellent product and would highly recommend it.
