Location was good though a fair walk from the nearest tube station. It has a defined, cool vibe which we enjoyed very much and the staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and fun with its iPad controlled lighting, aircon, tv and blinds. Breakfast, although a little pricey, was good and plentiful with no limit to how much you could have. Decent coffee too.

The aircon only went down to 18 degrees and the fan was not very powerful - a problem only as we had just walked a couple of miles in hot sun before arriving and needed to cool down!

Fantastic location, great bar and lovely staff. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and close to transport.

Room was very hot even with aircon set to 18 degrees it definitely never got there. Room size was very small - really is a place to crash and sleep rather than to spend any time in or work in

The hotel was modern and stylish. Staff were friendly, and the self check in system was quick and convenient. You are given the option of a higher or lower floor room, facing inwards or outwards of the hotel. In the room itself you have an IPad that controls everything in the room, from the temperature/climate of the room, the day blinds and black out curtains, the colour of the light in the bathroom (many options) and each light itself. The TV in the room was sizable and had Chromecast capability, along with normal TV channels. Everything felt convenient.

There were some things in the room that me and my partner were unsure of. The bathroom door didn't have a lock or close all the way without a gap at the bottom and top. Although the tablet was convenient - it was abit temperamental at times. Some options you turned on or off would do nothing, so would have to close the tablet and start over. The curtains were slow to close and you would have to keep the button held down the whole time to get them to close all the way. Also, my partner was disappointed to find there was no kettle in the room.

I cannot say enough! We had a fantastic experience. Large comfortable beds, features on iPad control the whole room. Love the mood lighting/nightlight, black out curtain or light curtain that are iPad operated. Refillable glass water bottles for small fridge. I like that the sink is separate from toilet and shower. Nice view and sunlight from large window. Reception area, bar, cafe, and multiple dining areas from tables and chairs to couches, work desk, and computers. Lobby/cafe had a very comfortable, modern and artistic vibe. A remote workers dream! Cafe had a nice variety of food and snacks. Breakfast buffet had a nice variety and quality. Glass atrium to sit outside within hotel lobby, with beautiful design and artistic features to enjoy. The staff was extremely accommodating, helpful, engaging and kind. They went above and beyond to meet our needs. Great location, that’s walkable to so many sights in London. Just a hop to the Tate modern, Borough market, and Bankside waterfront to the Thames. Lots to do in a walkable area. Would definitely come back again. Very competitively priced too!

First room had a poorly working AC, and nightlight feature didn’t work. Staff promptly moved us to a new room the next day. Space is tight but well thought out. Room gets cramped with large or multiple pieces of luggage.

I liked the location, the hotel and comfort.some staff were exceptional and some not so good. Liked flexibility of paying for what you had at breakfast and the bar staff who were always great

Breakfast a bit school dinner hall,, clear your own table, no plain croissant left at 9.30 and a 10 minute wait for more. Not good. The one lift that was working was not working for a time on Sunday and a member of staff shrugged her shoulders when a guest asked why.? I asked her if there was anyone she call to help and she shrugged her shoulders again and walked off through staff door never to be seen again. We waited another 10 minute and lift came.

The hotel is gorgeous, very modern and cool. From the moment you enter the huge lobby you can tell that every detail was considered. Very young and hip vibes, everything is controlled through a tablet, it won't be the best fit for older folks. The staff is very nice and helpful when the tech stuff aren't working :)

The room is VERY small, though we knew that in advance, still it's an issue and one needs to be prepared for it. The toilet and the shower are a tiny booth in the middle of the room, and the most problematic part is that the sink is outside this booth so you're basically brushing your teeth and washing your hands in front of your bed. Another thing, the lighting in the shower is controlled by a tablet and you can pick the color of the light - lovely but no option for simple natural lighting which is strange. Overall it feels like there were many choices made here that preferred coolness over comfort.

All really cool, love the pod style bathroom. Facilities at the bankside are great, bar, plenty of relaxed seating area, and a helpful team especially at check in a looking after our bags as we arrived early.

Only thing to watch our for, and a minor detail, we booked rooms on the top floor, however, the AC condensers / fans etc were directly above the rooms, as a result there was a constant droning sound, i had to use ear plugs to cut it out... so it did disturb my sleep a little, but I also understand that its is very hot ATM so people were probably ripping the AC all night. Net time I would probably avoid the top floor...

This was our third stay at a CitizenM hotel — after Paris and San Francisco — and unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the previous ones. The room’s cleanliness fell short of the usual standards, and other details seemed less well-maintained, such as lower-quality bath towels, a toilet with poor drainage, and visible signs of wear, including stains on the headboard. Additionally, the blackout system — a key reason we choose this hotel chain — was not fully functional, which meant the room couldn’t be darkened to our liking.

The lobby/communal living-room was excellent - a relaxing atmosphere with varied and comfortable seating; it felt very safe and welcoming for solo travellers like myself. I loved the bright vibrant colours and all the quirky "extras" - books in the room (I read them all), the balloon doggy bookends, the display album of gorgeous photographs in the communal area. The bedroom layout worked really well. The ipad was easy to use. It was great having a fridge. All the staff were extremely approachable, friendly and helpful.

I need a cool room in order to sleep well. The lowest temperature setting was 18 degrees. I need 16 degrees for night-time. The result was I slept badly because I got too warm, even with the cool packs I brought with me.

It was a very beautiful, clean and modern hotel, in a very good location. It had many technological features. Wonderful lobby where you can sit and work, with a 24-hour bar. The staff is very polite. Huge, comfortable bed and a large window overlooking the street. You could control everything in the room from an app. If I visit London again, I will definitely stay there. Good value for money.

The room temperature which was standard. Even at the highest level, it wasn’t very warm. The room is rather small for two people, especially if they are not a couple. But for one person is perfect. It would be convenient to have a trash bin in the room as well, not just in the bathroom.
