The staff were great. Lovely and extremely helpful, a very friendly environment. We had a really easy check-in & out. They stored our luggage for several hours with no issues. The room was spacious and clean.

Upon using the facilities we did notice the pool was slightly on the cooler side along with the sauna. The temperature as you walk into the pool is deceiving for the pool itself although we still had an enjoyable albeit quick swim. A few of the plug outlets may need checking in the rooms as the one near our bed was quite tempremental, there was a slight buzzing noise and it t also made the plug quite hot. Other then that we had a wonderful weekend at Novotel

The welcoming Breakfast staff, the breakfast buffet was well stocked. My room was adequately appointed, warm & comfortable the fridge was well stocked. The expresso martini was fabulous. The reception was neat and tidy and always smelt great..

I couldn't open any of the bottled water in my room as the lids were very tight (I don not consider myself weak). I had to ask a neighbouring room to open one for me. A more generous replenishment of tea bags and milk would be good and also a shower cap and maybe body lotion or hand moisturiser in the bathroom would be welcomed.

The property was centrally located and an easy walk to Big Ben, Parliament, the London Eye, plus other attractions. Everyone who helped us was so nice and they even worked with us to refund us back a day when we found out we had to cut our trip early. You do have to book a time slot for the pool and gym but this process was easy and my kids were able to enjoy the amenities. We did not do the breakfast or restaurant because we were not there but two nights but it seemed to always be busy. There are a couple food stands right down the road from the hotel which were great. Also, if you need any snacks or essentials for the room, there is a Tesco within walking distance. Great stay and would definitely book here again!

Hotel rooms and location is amazing, the dinner at the restaurant below was below average we sent 3/4 meals back because they was flavourless after the restaurant manager offered us 10% off the whole bill we argued we couldn’t eat our food as it was so bland and flavourless he took the 3 meals off with no hesitation, don’t let this put you off the hotel tho as there is many nice places to eat a couple minutes away! albino restaurant was less than a minute walk.

Loved the breakfast, great cooked breakfast, with plenty of choice. The stay went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was a fantastic time. Great friendly staff, willing to help with everything that was needed. Atmosphere was welcoming, and can't really say enough great things about the staff. Special mention to Rami and Katie, wonderful, wonderful people. Easy access to the Southwark tube, 5 minutes to the station from hotel.

we arrived at the hotel and immediately perceived a professional and attentive welcome, the staff was very punctual in showing us all the possibilities in the hotel. the functional well-equipped room, above all clean and modern, impressed us. the hotel is strategic for its position well connected for splendid walks and for the use of the Tube... given the inconvenience of Heathrow airport, where we ended up, a special thanks goes to the head of reception and his deputy who in an emergency situation supported us in an excellent way, reassuring us and resolving many aspects.

The hotel is situated in a nice area with various restaurants and bars. It’s close to the waterfront. We enjoyed river walks to Covent Garden via Waterloo Bridge (going left) and, walking the other direction, to the Tate Modern Museum and St. Paul‘s Cathedral via Millennium Bridge. Our room was spacious and very quiet. The bed was comfortable, we had a great nights sleep. Everything was sparkling clean and well maintained. Attention was paid to detail, for example, we were three people (parents and child) in a double room (queen bed plus sofa bed), so we were pleasantly surprised to find a third mug placed next to the electric kettle. Such consideration is rare. We appreciated the sustainability efforts with refillable containers of toiletries like shampoo, shower gel and hand soap by the brand rituals. We also loved the choice of four plant-based milk alternatives at the very nice breakfast buffet and the pancake machine. Our kid loved the pool and mom the saunarium. The staff was super friendly and approachable. Service at the hotel restaurant was great and the food was high quality and delicious.

Location was good for our needs on this visit. We arrived early but we're allowed to check in and thus leave our bags in the room and have a cup of tea. Room a nice size. Towels provided at the pool.

Pool a little small to be useful. However, relatively easy to use. Lockers were a little fiddly. We had to ask twice for more tea bags and milk. A faff. The frosted glass side to the bathroom lit the main room during nighttime visits to the loo. Okay if by yourself. Potentially annoying otherwise.

Beautiful hotel & the its located right beside the tube so you can literally go anywhere on it. Staff were lovely 😍 & hotel was spotless. Kids loved the pool & if you dont fancy the tube everyday you can walk pretty much anywhere in 20 mins or so & to the London eye ect.. Would highly recommend 👌

Ppl worry about the see-through glass in the bathroom but it has a button inside to block it out so wasn't a problem even staying in the room with two teenagers.

I had the pleasure of staying at Novotel London Blackfriars with my family from August 10th to August 14th, and I must say, our experience was exceptional. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The room was spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping staff did a superb job of keeping it that way throughout our stay. Room service was efficient and prompt. We also felt very safe during our stay, as the hotel’s security measures were well in place. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met with speed and professionalism. Their warm hospitality truly made our stay memorable. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring London, as it’s very close to public transportation options, making it easy to get around the city. If I return to London, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Novotel London Blackfriars again. A big thank you to the entire hotel team for making our stay so wonderful!
