Very helpful staff especially front of house. Pleasant evening at Albies followed by drinks on the roof terrace.

Took 3 members of staff to agree to our requesting to move tables at breakfast due to air conditioning vent above our table blasting out cold air despite there being several tables unoccupied. Quality of breakfast tea was disgusting and was grey and totally tasteless so requested coffee instead. Shame this spoiled an otherwise nice breakfast.

We loved the style and feel of the hotel, and felt immediately relaxed. The room was very comfortable, the bed was perfect, and it was very quiet.

It is a shame that the restaurant on the top floor is limited to sea food, and in the morning it was not open for coffee etc. The pictures of this area is what attracted us to the hotel, but actually this area was no use at all to us.

Like most Hoxton hotels, the atmosphere is great. A good balance between lively and chilled. My room wasn't huge but it is nicely designed. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size for a small room. Very clean and they have nice toiletries. Both the downstairs and rooftop restaurants and bars are great for drinks. The food is pretty good, not incredible. The location is convenient for both the City and West End. The immediate surroundings aren't great but very convenient if you're in and out of Waterloo station. Bonus, I arrived an hour before check in and the staff let me into my room without hesitation.

It would be nice if the minibar had a bit more in it other than two bottles of water.

Hoxton’s are always a high standard for the type of travelling we like. Cool, comfortable and the details taken care of. It was our first stay in the Southwark venue and it’s a great location, right next to the river and easy access to North and South London.

The main detracting factor is the fact that you have to make a request for the room to be cleaned between a certain time in the afternoon. We came back at 6 to get ready to go out and the room still hadn’t been cleaned. At 6.30 a cleaner did come but we had about 10 mins left to get ready so told her to come back. She said she would but when we got back to the room in the early hours it still hadn’t been cleaned and the bathroom smelt really damp from the towels. I understand that the Hoxton’s policy is probably sustainability related but I think cleaning the room is pretty much a bare minimum for a hotel… otherwise we might as well just be in an Air BNB 🤷‍♂️

Comfortable bed, hot water, proximity to metro stops, staff was always pleasant - even when dealing with issues. Staff was the saving grace of this place and the only reason I rated it so highly.

Wood floors and wooden chairs make for very noisy neighbors. I was assigned a disabled access room (which I didn’t need) that meant a bathroom with wet floors all the time and no dry space- not even a curtain. Big disappointment. Also, my feather free room which was confirmed both when I booked as well as when I checked in, was in fact not. The dessert i tried to order two nights in a row was not available and staff didn’t know until I had already ordered and sat waiting. Cocktails are more expensive than the neighborhood supports. And the “lounge space” isn’t. All the seating is for restaurant and there is one small seating area directly in front of the front doors. For the money, I was disappointed and wouldn’t stay again when there are so many great hotels in London for similar cost.

The hotel is located very centrally and in easy reach of the city centre either via foot or tube. No noise pollution from any other rooms or from outside, so both nights we slept really well. The bed and pillows / duvet are very comfortable. Air con system very easy to use. Good water pressure when showering. Room was small, but well laid out and equipped with the essentials. Good value for money. Would stay again at this hotel. Nice modern / chic interiors. Very clean.

We stayed 2 no. nights and there was no turndown service or tag to put on the door, and upon check-in wasn't made very clear how to request this. We stayed 2 nights and would have been nice to get fresh cups and more toilet paper / coffee without needing to request it via WhatsApp. The breakfast menu isn't extensive (what we did have was nice).

It's a nice hotel, with cozy and clean rooms. Breakfast was delicious, I recommand the Smashed Avo Toast. The Location is close the underground. All in all I can recommand this Hotel, even if it's a little pricey.

2 minor things bothered me: Most of the employees were really nice and friendly, somehow I often got the feeling that some were quite annoyed hmthat they actually have to work, especially the lady at the breakfast who asigns the tables. Another thing:. It says on Friday and Saturday the bar is open 'til 1h00. We wanted to have a drink at 00h25. And the bar was already closed.

It has a very chilled modern vibe. The food we had at breakfast and dinner was love,y. All the staff we encountered couldn’t do enough for us, they were very professional and attentive. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the Tube, and the South Bank is just around the corner

I didn’t like the service charge added to bar or food bills, not for a resident. The staff would have received an ample tip anyway as the service was excellent, but a service charge ( even though it was explained later that it was optional ) sometimes prevents a larger tip being given.

The hotel has a fabulous atmosphere and very cool style. Feels like you’re in New York. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, especially one of the managers - she was great. Easy to get to get around with Southwark tube at the end of the street. Seabird restaurant on the top floor is stunning! We will definitely be back. This is our new ‘go to’ in London.

The rooms are classed as ‘cosy’ which they are but it would have been nice to have a roomier room. I guess they cost more. Check in is supposed to be 2pm. We arrived at 3pm and our room wasn’t ready. We waited until 4:40pm. A cocktail and breakfast the next day was given complimentary for our wait which was nice.

Staff, location, rooftop, room service, good hair and body products, and the bed was very comfortable

Veryyyyy low water pressure in the shower, almost no furniture and no good clothing storage option, only an old couch ottoman to sit on in the roomy king, no bags or lids for the trash cans. Overall had an understaffed feeling, not a feeling of comfort and welcome. Perhaps the budget has been cut significantly to manage the hotel, but for the price I was expecting more.
