Roadside Parking short distance from the property. But this wouldn’t put me off booking again.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation! Good size with plenty of amenities; it is in a lovely quiet area and the view from the garden is beautiful. Fabian was very polite and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and would happily visit again.

Overall it was a great stay, but my only comment would be there is no flexibility on the check in time. We asked for a slightly early check in so we could pick up keys before heading to a wedding, but unfortunately this could not be accommodated for.

The room is quite spacious, clean and tidy. The yard is very beautiful. The location is good and not far from where I usually go. There is a water heater, which suits my habit of drinking hot water. The landlord is very warm-hearted and came to greet me in person. Everything was explained in detail.

It would be even more perfect if there were an induction cooker that could be used for cooking.

It’s well located, comfortably furnished and run by a helpful yet unobtrusive owner. Great view and very private location. Very comfortable lounge, one of the best I’ve had in six weeks of travel in this part of the world. Same goes for the TV. It works well, unlike most I have come across in my travels in the UK.

At this time of year I’d prefer the heating to be on in the early mornings as well as the evenings.

Very comfortable bed and good shower. Nicely furnished and nice outlook to the garden and countryside. Kitchen facilities good, bathroom facilities good. Very private with own entrance and very friendly, helpful host who made us feel welcome.

It would have been helpful to have some milk in the fridge for a hot drink and some shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom.

Great location. Parking available within short distance once everything out of the car. Very comfortable bed and good hot shower. Microwave available. Everything spotless.

Rear path could be improved: though not a problem it did occur to us that white painted lines to give visual warning where there are steps would be helpful for any age range.

Perfect location for our stay. Easy walk into Warlingham village to some great places to eat. The accommodation was ideal with everything you needed for a short stay. Fabian was the perfect host. I very much appreciated his instructions for our arrival. Made our stay most comfortable.

Everything was perfect

The property is in a very quiet residential location with lovely views and the possibility of sitting outside if the weather permits. There is plenty of wardrobe/drawer space and a pleasant sitting area with a comfortable 2-seater sofa. The bath has recently been replaced with a shower. As we were not planning to cook, the absence of any hob, pans, kitchen sink etc was not a problem.

It is a 7-10 minute walk to a bus stop, involving an uphill walk (with buses only half hourly or hourly up to 8pm). As the property is part the way up a steep hillside, to get to Warlingham Village without a car requires good timing or a moderately energetic walk. Whyteleafe and Upper Warlingham station are down-hill - at least going there!

We have stayed before and like the position and facilities

Unfortunately we just dumped our bags on arrival and went out for the evening. When we returned the heating must have gone off as property was cold. It was v late so we didn’t get the owner up but went to bed. It was a particularly cold night so we huddled up.

We visited the area due to a family emergency that was very stressful. The owner was very welcoming and the accommodation was comfortable, clean and quiet. The view out of the French windows of the garden and the north downs was stunning. Really would recommend.
