What a charming room. Small but perfectly formed and delightful in every way. Lovely touches, like a selection of teas, Illy coffee and cafetierre plus some homemade biscuits. The most comfotable bed and pillows, I had the bet nights sleep in a long time. The staff were all delightful, from helping with our bags to printing out boarding passes for our flight the nextt day. The breakfast menu was extensive and everything we had was delicious. Once again the cheery staff made us feel very welcome. Only 10 mins from Gatwick it beats an airport hotel hands down. Would definitely stay again
The only niggles, and very minor ones, were low shower pressure and a rather wobbly toilet seat.

Lovely old building. Very popular with locals be sure to book for dinner. Handy for Gatwick airport and airport parking lots.
Room took ages to warm up. A member of 'the team' tried to help as the radiator needed bleeding but he did not have a key (or the knowhow I suspect). It was the middle of the night when it eventually became hot, too hot and we had to turn it down. No easy chairs in the room. This is a common, major shortcoming in hotels and I have a thing about it. Sometimes you get one comfy chair, but in a double room surely you need two. There was only a dressing table type chair. Rooms directly overlook the pub garden so could be noisy in summer. Very expensive drinks especially a bottle of wine.

This is the most adorable cute Inn we've stayed while travelling in UK! Highly recommend! Food is superb and staff treats you like family. Rooms are newly renovated and there are these cute little details like glass water bottles and homemade cookies waiting you in the room. <3 You can order your brekkie from the menu and it is made just for you! We stayed 2 nights and their latte and pain au chocolate is to die for. We also were amazed how well they have prepared for the kid guests. There were crayons and organic juice carton boxes available!
While checking in, we had some problems with our room. Staff members reacted immediately and took care of our issue. But not only that they went an extra mile and treated us with fancy dinner in the Inn. Loved that kind of hospitality!

There is a great breakfast menu. The room was cosy and the bathroom was great for my elderly mother who has mobility problems. When we arrived, the beer garden had families enjoying the sun/ food and drink and there was a lovely atmosphere. There is a large area of grass for the children to run around and a small play area.
The room tea/coffee only had small cartons of coffee creamer but no milk. My elderly mother doesn’t like creamer in tea. The staff were very helpful though and provided us with milk.

Staff lovely - room ideal on ground floor for easy access - food very good and well priced - watch the drinks costs though - expensive ! Getting to Gatwick in 10 mins - excellent taxi service . Staff called for us and everything worked so well.
£17 a glass of Rose- we just asked for Rose without asking the price - seems they just chose the most expensive. to serve up. Again at dinner we asked for Rose - a bottle - They bought again the most expensive at £50 . I then checked the menu and there were 3 choices of Rose on it - I changed to the £30 bottle - just be aware of drinks cost at this Pub/hotel. Other than this everything was excellent and the staff were so helpful .

Nice cosy room and huge bathroom. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming and made all of my family and friends feel right at home
The bedroom was a little chilly and took a bit of time to warm up, the shaver point didn’t accept my electric toothbrush charger and the flush on the bathroom toilet could be improved as it was more of a trickle than a torrent. The Full English breakfast was also disappointing as the sausage was over large and too dense, whilst the bacon is too fatty and not crispy enough.

The room was lovely and spacious, to a very high standard with all the amenities. It was also quiet even though the pub garden is right outside. Very highly recommended. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding, with great options for both. We were made to feel welcome and our small dog was also very welcome and had a great time. All around a lovely experience and highly recommended!
The WiFi in the room was a bit slow, worked better downstairs. Also would have been useful to have the option to charge the car over night but I understand that this is a difficult thing to offer. Other than this, nothing else comes to mind.

The rooms were comfortable and they had so many little extras that made it feel like they really make an effort. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had to leave before breakfast as we were getting an early flight, and not only did they package up a big and tasty breakfast for us all, they literally went out to make sure my vegan sister was included too. Absolutely brilliant. The place was also really pretty and we loved the food. Shame we just stayed the one night! Parking was also super easy and it was close to Gatwick airport. We will definitely be back :)
Nothing at all!

Breakfast - wide choice of menu. The food was very good. Room - Very comfortable with all amenities we needed. Sachets of hot chocolate would make a welcome addition to the hot drinks tray. Dinner - again a wide choice of menu and the food was very good. The helpings were enormous. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Surroundings were restful and relaxing.
The sausages were very peppery so it might be worth mentioning this on the menu to warn future guests. The venison faggots were very peppery so it might be worth mentioning this on the menu to warn future guests. The Kedgeree wasn't what I was expecting, so would perhaps be more accurately named as Macaroni cheese with smoked haddock.

Really lovely place with excellent bar, food and the accommodation is good and sits behind the pub. Have a little play area which was well used. Used as a drop off before flight from Gatwick and certainly better than a bland hotel, is very close to Gatwick and was easy to drive there.
Did not affect us as we went at Easter but the accommodation is right next to the bars Large outdoor seating area and I can imaging this might be pretty loud in summer There seemed a long delay on breakfast. Think ours was 40 minutes and some others got impression longer - wasn’t an issue for us as we had a lot of time before having to leave for airport but if you are in a rush worth checking timescales
