Fantastic hotel where the staff really listen. I've stayed at this hotel previously and really liked it apart from the fact that my room didn't have any blind or curtains, decided to stay here again and got the same room and they've now rectified this and put a blind up, which now makes it a perfect hotel for my needs and I'll definitely be back. The lady on reception is very welcoming, the hotel is spotlessly clean, my room was cosy but very well equipped with everything I needed. It's also remarkably quiet considering the sign on the front said it was full.

We had a very pleasant stay at this charming guest house during our layover. The host was warm and welcoming, and the rooms were impeccably clean, with comfortable beds. The location is ideal: quiet at night (perfect for a good night’s sleep), yet incredibly convenient. There’s a direct bus to Gatwick right in front of the property, and the train station is just a 10-minute walk away. The house itself is old and full of character. We understand renovations are planned soon, and we sincerely hope its charm will be preserved. The upcoming relaxing areas sound like a great idea, as that’s currently the one thing missing. Our kids were a bit disappointed not to have access to the garden during our stay. Including breakfast in the price would also add great value. Overall, a peaceful and well-located place to rest, especially during a short stopover.

Assuming that you are arriving or departing through Gatwick Airport, please remember the following: Board bus number 20 from the South Terminal and pay GBP2.00 with a contactless credit card to be dropped at the MASSETS ROAD stop right outside the hotel about 5 minutes later. Bus number 20 runs all night. From the North Terminal board bus number 100 to arrive at Massets road in about 8-9 minutes, GBP2.00 To return to the airport use the bus stop across the road from the hotel to take a No.20 bus to o South Terminal or No.100 bus to the North Terminal. Tip: Photograph the bus times the evening before you leave and be aware of the different schedules on Saturdays and Sundays. NB Send an email to the hotel the evening before you leave to receive an email copy of your bill.

My wife and I were at the end of our 10 week trip by train around Europe and the UK, and we stayed out last night close to Gatwick airport. We had a morning flight back to Australia scheduled for the morning. The location of the Gatwick Turret guesthouse was very good. There was a 24 hour bus service literally across the road from the guesthouse, which we used to get to the aitport. Ram, the host at Gatwick Turret was very friendly and helpful, especially in regard to options of getting to the airport.

Located right outside a bus stop and near the train station. Grocery stores and restaurants at walking distance. Staff very helpful. Booked rooms on the ground floor but given upper level instead. The receptionist helped us with our luggage and gave us complementary breakfast.

All the beds are really too soft. Very difficult to use one of the rooms' door lock. The old lock is very charming but once you manage to lock it, you need a key to unlock it from the inside. Can't imagine if there were an emergency and you would have to fiddle with the lock for minutes before exiting the room.

Used before for overnight stay before Gatwick Airport, hidden gem. A lot cheaper than staying in airport terminal hotel and just as easy. For getting here and back to the airport. Staff are always lovely and welcoming . Close to local Waitrose for Supplies and food places as well which is handy. Lovecthat we can book directly for hotel to takecus to the airport it saves so much hassle and stress before a long flight

We booked 3 rooms for our family of 7 - 2 family rooms and a single room on various floors. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to be offered the whole of the ground floor. My brother was upgraded from a single room to a double room. A previous reviewer had commented that they were unsatisfied with the room. Yes there is an open shower and bath in the bedroom but my brother said it was the best shower he has ever used! The bed did not get wet a previously stated in someone elses review. The decor was great and beds super comfy. The owners were very helpful and we ate in the pub down the road. As we had an early morning flight we didnt have breakfast. Our cars were left where we parked them for the week and no issues on return. Very helpful, kind owners with a lovely dog. Will return again.

Good room… plenty of space in the room with en-suite shower and toilet. We were struck by how immaculately clean it was. We were impressed by the warmth of the reception from the host. Very close to the airport but very little noise disturbance. Easy waking distance to town for something to eat. Perfect for our needs.

Although there was a sizeable car park it was rammed with cars that they hadn’t been expecting and it was so tightly packed it was really hard to get into or out of the one available space.

Apart from an issue with Booking.com, when an attempt was made to wrongly extract card details from me, the hotel was completely blameless. When notified they took quick action to sort the issue out. As for the hotel, I was not sure what to expect, but the location, price, and convenience for Gatwick Airport could not be faulted. From leaving the hotel, walking to the railway station (even with a heavy suitcase), taking a few minutes for the short train ride, bag-checking and clearing security on arrival at the airport... took 40 minutes!!! Would I stay here again? Undoubtedly, and without question or hesitation... although next time I think I might book directly with them.

Nothing to do with the hotel. However, having Booking.com trying to extract information from me that was not needed? To ask for my card details (again, because this was already held by them), and state I would incur a penalty if I failed to do so within a matter of hours..? Well, make your own minds up. For me it was very suspect behaviour by somebody - it had nothing to do with the hotel, who took their own action to sort the matter out.

I liked the proximity to Gatwick airport and Horley train station. Easy access to public transport. The staff were very helpful. I had a wonderful cooked breakfast that I really enjoyed. It was the first time anyone actually made my eggs exactly how I like them. Bless the chef ❤️. The environment was clean. Room and bathroom were clean, but could be better. Overall, it was a good stay

Nothing really. I loved it. Just a recommendation though. I think a bottle of water in the rooms will be a brilliant idea, especially because of guests who may arrive late like myself. I had to walk to town to get a bottle of water, even though I was really tired, because I do not drink water directly from the tap unless it’s filtered.
