From the moment I arrived I was very impressed with this hotel. Very convenient location for the train station, friendly and welcoming reception from the staff. I'd booked the single bedroom but when I was shown my room it actually has a very comfortable double bed in it. Small but perfectly formed shower room, the room has all the facilities you could need. Having stayed in a few hotels along this road when travelling I can definitely say this one is by far the most comfortable.

The only reason I took 2 stars off was the hotel have a policy of not allowing hot food in the bedrooms, so you have to eat it in the dining room. I found this disappointing as after lots of travelling all you want to do is relax in your own room. Apart from that it was very good

We stayed 3x nights even though Only booked twice on,booking.com.Its very clean and Staff are friendly and Professional. EVERY time !!! The room was on, ground floor as requested. Large walk in shower. comfortable beds ,Room smelt very clean.The hotel is walking ditance from local train station.Also numerous pubs and cafes. W euse local cafe near train station, for breakfast. Disliked · NOTHING to moan bout.

We enjoyed how quiet the room and area was overall and the lovely bathroom meant we got a relaxing shower after a long day travelling.

The room is on the ground floor overlooking the disabled ramp, parking area, and road so we had to keep the blinds closed most of the time for privacy. There was no wardrobe space bar a tiny rod which could hold a maximum of 6 hanging items. We spent most of our stay taking things in and out of our luggages for this reason. It was also impossible to figure out any heating equipment. The television is rather small for the distance from the bed so it was difficult to watch much. We asked for a noon check out which was confirmed on check-in, but on our last day, we were interrupted twice before this time regarding check out. Staff were cold and scowled at us when we checked out at noon and did not even offer to hold the door open as we were leaving.

The Lodge was perfect for a morning flight from Gatwick. It was a short walk from the train station and there are lots of places to eat nearby. We had a twin room with ensuite, which was warm and had everything we needed. In the morning we caught the bus from outside the Lodge to the airport which was really quick and easy - all the info was available at reception. I would definitely stay here if I fly from Gatwick again.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak and we could have done with a spoon for making a hot drink in the morning, but they're just minor things.

The hotel was very easy to find and had lots of parking. The staff was very attentive and friendly and was able to answer all questions. The place was very clean and smelled lovely upon entry. When I went to the room I was instantly aware of the new carpet and decor, the tea/coffee tray looked fresh and new and the room, again, smelled very clean and welcoming. The bathroom was modern and tidy. The room as a bit cold but there was a plug-in heater provided as well as a fan to help moderate the temperature of the room to your liking. Super close to the airport, dead convenient. Excellent value for money. Will stay again!

I always stay here if I need to go to Gatwick airport either to travel or to pick up someone in the airport and then travel as I live far away. Been coming to this hotel for the last 5years and I’ve seen the changes in it and is becoming better each year. The rooms are renovated and clean. This stay was better then the previous one as I stayed in the same room and it was much cleaner then the previous time. I hope they keep putting great effort and I hope they modern the main area of the hotel as compared to the rest is a bit outdated

Parking. I had to park out of the parking area inside the hotel area as I had to leave and when I come back there was no more available space. It was not a problem however not ideal.

This is an absolute gem, especially if you're travelling to or from Gatwick. The lodge is a short walk from the station in lovely leafy suburbia. The room was huge with a gorgeous view of the property's large, well kept garden. The beds were INCREDIBLE! Honestly, these were the comfiest beds I think I've ever slept in. My fitbit sleep score was 87! Also, staff were friendly and welcoming. I was comfortably at Gatwick for 9.30am, it completely took the stress out of travelling.

The shower seemed to be broken, with damage to the outer casing and very low water pressure.

I had a truly wonderful stay here. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious, spotless, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect. Overall, my stay exceeded expectations, and I would highly recommend. cheep a nearby the airport. Only 1 station with the train and 3 Busstops from the airport. Thank you very much.

Everything was fine.

The house appeared to been refurbished recently so the bedroom I’ve stayed was new. The beds were very comfortable. I’ve been coming to this hotel for years and I stay every time I need to travel to london. Is 10min walking from the train station Horley and they have a car park too. They used to have transfer to the airport but not anymore, however u can get a taxi and it costs around 15£. The hotel will provide with the taxi info if u request.

The bedroom was cold and I couldn’t turn on the heating in the bedroom but the one in the bathroom was on. The bedding was also too thin.

My stay was short as I checked in at 10pm and out at 7am. I let myself in with the door code, so did not meet any staff. The phone call I made to discuss check-in went well. The hotel had managed well my request for a ground or at most a first floor room due to mobility problems. The room was perfect for people with such issues and was on the ground floor. I thank the hotel for that. Very clean and wifi good. Will be back when I need to stay near Gatwick again.
