Stayed here in between international flights and were able to leave our bags when we got there too early. We were still able to get in our room for early check in too. Host at reception was lovely and had no issues at all with check in or in general during our stay. Everything was super clean and the bed was really comfortable! We paid 143.03 AUD for one night which we felt was good value for money for 2 people. Close to town and shops too so we got lunch and dinner from town.

We stayed in the room closest to the front door which meant we heard everyone go in and out which was a bit annoying in the early mornings (when I imagine staff were changing over or people were leaving for flights) but it didn't bother us too much.

The owner (Mr Patel) was helpful and polite when my friend and I checked in for the night, We were going to Gatwick airport at 3:30, so this is only a short taxi ride away. The hotel is only about 10 min walk from the train station and it's also very close to a great Wetherspoons pub, plus Waitrose and lots of shops. My room was just a single, with a single bed, basin, cupboard. The communal bathroom/shower was just around the corner from my room and it was clean/decent. All in all I'd stay there again.

Two of the sockets were faulty (with one not working at all).

Breakfast wasn’t available! Room and bathroom were adequate, bed was comfy. Check in was easy and staff friendly. Had to ask for towels. Location was good for the airport.

I would have rated this hotel higher if the breakfast, which had been advertised as being available actually WAS available! I always book accommodation with a breakfast option and this had, so we were very disappointed to be told on arrival that the breakfast room wasn’t available for our stay due to work being done on it. I think that the hotel should have advised us of this situation BEFORE we arrived, and preferably before taking payment. Building works don’t get arranged overnight and there should have been plenty of time to let us know. In addition, we didn’t see any building work going on!

I was very satisfied with the hotel. It was good value for money. The rooms were clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. My room came with a shared bathroom which was clean and newly renovated. The staff were very helpful and the afterhours access procedure was communicated very clearly. The hotel was easily reachable by public transport from Gatwick Airport. (Bus 100), with a bus stop only a few meters down the road

The hotel building has seen better days and could benefit from a thorough renovation. Howerver, it was acceptable for the price I paid for the room given the cleanliness of the hotel overall. The breakfast was quite basic, but it was also cheap, so acceptable.

From the moment I arrived I was very impressed with this hotel. Very convenient location for the train station, friendly and welcoming reception from the staff. I'd booked the single bedroom but when I was shown my room it actually has a very comfortable double bed in it. Small but perfectly formed shower room, the room has all the facilities you could need. Having stayed in a few hotels along this road when travelling I can definitely say this one is by far the most comfortable.

The only reason I took 2 stars off was the hotel have a policy of not allowing hot food in the bedrooms, so you have to eat it in the dining room. I found this disappointing as after lots of travelling all you want to do is relax in your own room. Apart from that it was very good

We stayed 3x nights even though Only booked twice on,booking.com.Its very clean and Staff are friendly and Professional. EVERY time !!! The room was on, ground floor as requested. Large walk in shower. comfortable beds ,Room smelt very clean.The hotel is walking ditance from local train station.Also numerous pubs and cafes. W euse local cafe near train station, for breakfast. Disliked · NOTHING to moan bout.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful! he provided info on how to get to the train station and the times it ran. he also helped with bus schedules for our early departure the next day. The room was tidy and comfortable. They provided instant coffee as well which was nice. We were hoping the bar would be open at the end of the night but it seemed to be closed, this wasn't an issue however. The location is perfect for walking to a local pub or restaurant of your choosing. Thank you for our stay!!

We enjoyed how quiet the room and area was overall and the lovely bathroom meant we got a relaxing shower after a long day travelling.

The room is on the ground floor overlooking the disabled ramp, parking area, and road so we had to keep the blinds closed most of the time for privacy. There was no wardrobe space bar a tiny rod which could hold a maximum of 6 hanging items. We spent most of our stay taking things in and out of our luggages for this reason. It was also impossible to figure out any heating equipment. The television is rather small for the distance from the bed so it was difficult to watch much. We asked for a noon check out which was confirmed on check-in, but on our last day, we were interrupted twice before this time regarding check out. Staff were cold and scowled at us when we checked out at noon and did not even offer to hold the door open as we were leaving.

Room was very comfortable, carpet freshly vacuumed and very clean. Felt comfortable with baby crawling on floor. Seems to be newly renovated. Staff accommodated requests relatively quickly and was able to place us far away from smokey construction area of building to allow baby to sleep.

Cot was not set up/ready despite prior cot reservation. No towels, linen or pillows left for baby either. Was retrieved quickly by staff when asked, though. Shabby building with dark, unused dining area. No highchairs available.

Excellent location. Easy access to/from Gatwick within minutes by bus (bus stop right in front of hotel). Perfect choice both for an overnight stay when arriving in London with a late night flight but also for longer stays should you wish to explore beautiful Horley and surrounding villages. Hotel itself is superb and a great value for money. Super clean, comfortable and quiet. Very convenient late arrival check-in arrangements.

Some sort of simple sitting facilities in the smoking area would be welcome.
