To be honest our whole experience of our 2 night stay at Bakery was totally exceptional! The location, the room, the venue, the Team, the food, the facilities were all amazing! Such a friendly greeting and from then on nothing was too much trouble. We were thrilled by the decor, the layout and furnishings.

Absolutely ‘Nothing’ could be better than it was during our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were exceptional, nothing seemed like too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing, and we left both mornings full and happy. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet and clean. Parking was ample and close to our room. The courtyard area was great, as was our little outside seating area, which gave off a wonderful Mediterranean feel. The restaurant, pub, post office, duck pond, and children's playground are all charming local additions. Being able to help ourselves to bottled water was appreciated.

The bathroom in our room was in need of a couple of repairs, but this was insignificant in comparison to all of the things we enjoyed about our stay.

We didn’t actually get to stay because of a mess booking the last remaining room via booking. com and a contemporaneous walk-in booking. Despite online confirmation from booking.com that we had secured the room the walk-ins got it by being there in person. Grrrrr - the property and the proprietor were really charming The proprietor was very apologetic and at her expense had booked us alternative accommodation and breakfast at a more expensive local hotel (only about 3 miles away). The alternative (The Landing at Biggin Hill) met our needs perfectly so all was well that ended well 😊

Location and parking availability, room was a good size with a small courtyard. Fresh white fluffy towels everyday, nice touch. Breakfast was amazing, basically cook whatever you want and the croissants are extremely yummy, baked fresh every morning.

We would like to suggest that a shelf in the shower area would be a really good idea as the girls had to put their toiletries on the shower floor. A small bar fridge and a safety deposit box would add convenience. Just one other suggestion the furniture in our room was old, scratched and chipped, could look at refinishing or even better replacing with more modern units.

We received an amazing welcome from Clarissa. As new owner she is doing an incredible job of re-establishing the business. As well as explaining the set up, Clarissa stayed and chatted to us - it was like meeting a new friend. The room was spacious, well decorated and very clean. Breakfast was amazing, high quality food, exceptional service, and my son was made to feel special with a mini full English. I highly recommend staying here for a couple of nights for its excellent accommodation and great location.

Absolutely nothing.

Very nice friendly staff /owners , and greeted with a bottle of fizz which was a nice touch ! The bedroom was very nice and clean , bathroom excellent and a stand alone cubical shower much better than the usual dreaded shower curtain over bath ! Bed could have been harder for my likening , unfortunately there is not a lft to rooms and the stairs are steep ,but can thoroughly recommend the bakery !!

Liked it all

Great Find, This is the kind of place you want to stay at, great friendly team, good vibe, room was nice and modern and clean. Breakfast was good and quality. Staff where friendly, happy and genuine. If we had longer we would have stayed longer, no problem in recommending: The Bakery Restaurant with Rooms

Nothing, all good and would stay again, in fact we only stayed 1 night as we was visiting Charles Darwin House and a few other natural places/Country walks, Biggin Hill Spitfire Museum along with our pet Dog, but if you was looking for somewhere as a base for a few days whilst site seeing all the great places around the area up to say 10 miles in all directions then it would be nice to know you was coming back here to sleep/rest, eat and drink.

We felt so looked after, lovely room in a beautiful village, with lovely walks around the area and perfect for getting to the wedding venue we had visited for. Breakfast was wonderful, yogurt, crossiants and cereal and then a lovely full english with amazing sausages, plenty of parking and rooms were bright and cheerful. Fresh milk provided for teas and coffees as well which was a lovely touch. Easy to get in and out at later hours as well - a really nice Bnb.

Lovely host when we arrived - made certain we were settled and nothing was too much trouble. The weather was really warm but the room was lovely and cool and able to leave the window open with no noise or issue. Breakfast was utterly fabulous with some lovely fruit and healthy options as well as the "full english". Would 100% stay here again

That we stayed at another B&B the previous night and should have done 2 nights at the bakery!

Our room was very clean, with plenty of space. Bed large and comfortable. Shower was big and powerful. Breakfast was a real feast. Freshly cooked and well presented with plenty of choice Unfortunately we had to leave early due to personal reasons. But will be coming to stay again in a few weeks.
