had a pleasant stay at this property in Dar. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained , simple yet thoughtfully designed for functionality. There was a bit of mustiness in our initial room, we asked for a change and the staff was very polite and moved us to a different room no hussle.

The staff was excellent. Justin who worked at the desk personally brought me to the hospital and stayed with me, to confirm that I did not have malaria. I was traveling alone so this was over and beyond what I expected, but it was very reassuring.

The showers did not have good water pressure and I could not get hot water. Also, maybe just keep an extra eye out for women traveling alone who get encouraged to drink maybe more than they are used to because there are some security issues with people hanging out at your bar with not the most honest intentions. It’s a little scary. Massage lady did not show up for work on a Saturday.

room had sea view but you could only see rooftops and palm trees :( :( the ac was working so could sleep well - so to that extent it was okay for a one nighter but wont stay long here as that does not rock my boat

there was no soap for bathing. after asking for it i got more conditioner and shampoo. both of which REFUSE to get washed off unless i am willing to run the hottest possible water temperature in the swelting heat of Dar es Salaam. didnt like that. also too many flies in the breakfast area - unhygenic. i really really wish i dont fall ill.

This is a very beautiful hotel, right on the water, and in a safe and prestigious part of Dar es Salaam. The layout of the property is really nice. There are enough interesting places to eat/drink nearby within a 10-15 min walk.

The Wi-Fi (Internet) was really not dependable, and this has consequences for those of us who rely on it for work, as well as those who stay here as a tourist with kids. A small suggestion for the outside bar — pls find a way to drastically reduce the number of flies and wasps that hover around you as you try to have a drink. I have not see this elsewhere with similar property layout and therefore not sure why this has not been addressed.

The operations / management leads are excellent. They seem to have strong hospitality experience. I think the staff are working miracles in a property that needs upgrades. Upgrades should be provided to make their lives easier, too.

Need more humidity control in the room. Beautiful property but probably needs extensive HVAC upgrades. I think it impacts staff, too. Perhaps add mounted fans in the hallways, since they are open air. Laundry service was prompt and they returned all items, but they should switch to using pencil when marking their check sheet. I had several garments ruined from the blue ink of a pen. I wasn’t charged for the cleaning of those items, but it’s not the worth of destroyed garment. Not all clothes were cleaned fully, I ended up washing select items at the next destination. Flies. More fans (or something) to deter the flies from circling next to nice lounge areas.

Didn’t have access to Netflix as advertised . Hotel is on a beach but couldn’t get in the water .

Beach front … the room was big enough , the staff was amazing … the food was amazing …

The cleaner took our bag covers and we left without them and left our address for them to be send or re-inbursed … have not heard anything from them … and after such an amazing stay … that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth … hope they’ll live up to their word

Amazing views! Delicious breakfast! After two days of traveling it was nice to finally kick back in a nice comfortable space! 10/10 on the breakfast! Goodluck,Fulaha and Alphonse were amazing during the breakfast service! Very attentive and hospitable! Always pleasant and smiling!

They accidentally charged me for an airport transfer. I took an Uber to hotel because I asked about the transfer and they replied two days after I was already at the hotel. It was reversed however. The tv is quite far from the bed and there was this out of placed beam right in front the bed.

Amazing hotel with the most amazing staff. I got upgraded due to the sweetness of the reception staff. It was my last day in Africa and had a late flight the next day. The staff let me stay in the hotel all day and even made it possible for me to take a shower before heading to the airport. Also had the best curry of my life in the restaurant - cooked by chef Nelli. Amazingly nice people and wonderful room with the most amazing sunset views.

Everything was perfect!

The location is quite a scenery, so good waking up to the sound of ocean waves and watching the sunset. Rooms are comfortable, functional AC, clean and spacious. The staff was really responsive and warm, Alphonce was so kind and warm.
