My stay at Lamrin Cottages was nothing short of perfect. The staff, always wearing warm smiles, were incredibly helpful and considerate throughout my visit. From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with warmly, meeting me at the car and offering a drink and lovely conversation, ensuring I had everything I needed to begin my exploration of the enchanting Rishikesh. Their thoughtful gestures didn’t stop there. They went above and beyond by arranging an excellent tour for me, enhancing my solo travel experience. As a solo traveler, I felt truly cared for with their kind morning texts, checking in on me during my adventures, ensuring my well-being, and offering any assistance I might require. This personal touch made my two-week stay feel like a genuine home away from home. The accommodations were top-notch. The beds were comfortable, and the view from my patio area was simply lovely. The food served was a delicious and there was a nice variety of local and western foot to match your mood. I encountered only minor power outages, a common occurrence in India. However, the staff’s prompt and efficient response to any issues that arose left me impressed. The farewell was as heartwarming as the welcome. The team walked me to my car, presented me with a thoughtful parting gift, and bid me a heartfelt goodbye. It felt like saying farewell to dear friends and an unexpected comfort at after being so far from home on a long journey. From the moment I made my reservation until my departure, the communication was impeccable. Lamrin Cottages not only provided an exceptional stay but also a remarkable level of service. My time here was filled with warmth, care, and exceptional experiences that I truly appreciate.

At the end of a busy day we were happy to be back in our extremely comfortable and spotless room away from the hurly burly of the town centre. Kuldip who attended to us, did so with great efficiency and courtesy. We relished the breakfast during our stay as they prep from scratch and what reaches the table is utterly delicious and replete with local flavours, and served privately to you in the attached sitting room. This place added to the pleasure and quality of our Rishikesh stay. Keep up the good work!

While the cottage is in a calm secluded area, one does have to commute the extra distance to head to the sights. Also, it doesn't come cheap - the room rent is on the higher side.

Location is great . The property is located in a quiet enclave. The rooms were well appointed. Very nice bed and mattress. Clean bed linen of top quality. Bathroom was clean , with quality soap/shampoo etc. The food quality and taste is excellent. We loved the fact that they cook from scratch rather than have ready gravies , making the food taste fresh and it is light on stomach. Well done Chef and kitchen staff. Will I book this property again if I visit Rishikesh ? YES.

The room size could be a wee bit larger. Also , I did feel that while everything is very good , but not at the price point we booked at !

Our recent stay at the Lamrin was fantastic! The room was good-sized with all the amenities and toiletries you’d expect in a boutique hotel. Room came with its own terrace and a lovely view. Service, led by the ever-helpful and friendly Kuldeep, was excellent. Staff go out of their way to help you here. The first evening we wanted to go for the Ganga aarati, and one of the staff, Sunena came with us and showed us the where to sit for a perfect view of the aarati. Next day when I wanted to know where to take a dip in the Ganga, they sent a staff to accompany us all the way, to and from the river! Breakfast was very good. It’s not a buffet breakfast so you have to choose from the menu and inform them a few hours before, ideally the previous night. Once you book they contact you on WhatsApp to keep in touch. They ask for prepayment of a token sum to hold the reservation btw, it was new to us but apparently it is to prevent misuse. But once you book, you wouldn’t want to change your mind. Highly recommend it!

Nothing much really. They request pre payment which was new to me but it's a reasonable request is what I gather after chatting with them. The directions can be a bit tricky but you can call the property to clarify.

The experience at the cottages was fantastic and we were able to spend a very good time. The property is clean very homely and the staff is wonderful and takes care of you for every small need Richa ji in particular is extremely helpful and always present to attend to you she’s also an excellent yoga teacher and provides free yoga lesson in the garden Every morning. What is exceptional is the quality of food which is extremely tasty and healthy the prices may be a little higher on the side, but overall the quality is very good especially if you have issues you can be rest assured that you are eating at a safe place. It is also so close to the river. You just have to do a small little hike for 300 mettre down the road from the hotel down to Ram Jhula and the cards are right in front. One little thing is that while searching on Google use the Lamrik resort signs because sometimes the Google map causes problems if you’re using a custom location sent by the staff.

Hygiene, location, extremely friendly staff, overall calmness and quietness in the surrounding. Amazing food as well.

We had a wonderful stay, the team welcomed us with a tea and gave us very good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing places. A small paradise in Rishikesh, the hotel is situated in the mountain away from the chaos of the city, but still walking distance to the centre. The breakfast they offer and the yoga class were the highlights for us. The bathroom and overall hotel are up to European standards, very comfortable and clean! A strong recommendation if you visit Rishikesh, specially as the first time experience in Indis.

I had only one night here, but it was a very good experience. Peaceful is the main word I would use, which is great when you have the crazy, hectic, streets only a few minutes walk away. The staff and service was top notch and the same with the food. The hotel has an extensive menu of home cooked Indian food and more. They also helped me with various extras like currency exchange. In general, a very comfortable stay in tranquil surrounding with comfy bed, spacey room size, and nice balcony.

The property was beautiful and well maintained, and very close to the ghats. We loved how proactive the staff were. Richa helped us so much as we were stuck in traffic, to coordinate our stay and ensure it was comfortable. The food cooked at the property was absolutely delicious, and the best part is they can prepare breakfast for the group at any time. This was particularly helpful as we had to leave very early the next morning. We’d like to thank Richa, Praveen, Kuldeep, Uttam and Anil for the impeccable service. They went above and beyond to ensure our tired group was comfortable, and they did it with a smile on their faces! To top it off, they gave us ganga jal in beautiful containers to take home.

Our stay at Lamrin Cottages in Rishikesh was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, Richa and her staff made us feel right at home. Their courteous and friendly demeanor truly enhanced the experience. The cottages themselves were wonderful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But the real highlight was the delicious food! Every meal was freshly prepared and bursting with flavor. Also, late night meals were readily accommodated by the staff. We especially enjoyed the ample veg options on the menu, including a really great paratha, fried bhindi and the powa for breakfast. A highlight was having dinner served on the terrace, which allowed us to take in the late evening views of the Ganges and the Ram Jhula bridge. The location of Lamrin Cottages was perfect. Just a short walk away from the Ganges River, it offered a peaceful escape while still being close enough to walk and take in the Ganges. Overall, Lamrin Cottages provided the perfect base for our Rishikesh adventure. We can't thank Richa and her staff enough for their hospitality. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Rishikesh!
