Very clean for the cost, really soft comfortable bedding that was high quality. Unexpected exceptional value for the price. A little bit of deferred maintenance on the bathroom door, and it is a motel type setup so don't get too excited. But we paid $85 for our room and had plenty of room, were comfortable, and we're very impressed.

Our corner room didn't have a name window, but that actually offered us a bit more privacy than is typical in a motel setting. A little bit of deferred maintenance on the interior and exterior but a very good value for the money.

I loved this older style motel that is so freshly, and tastefully re-done. It's a simple, two-story motel in a great location. Very, VERY nice inside. All new carpet, appliances, beds/bedding and fresh paint without any overwhelming odors. Such a pleasant stay from the first interaction with the staff, to final checkout. Definitely at the top of my list for staying near Sacramento or taking an early flight out of SMF.

Wonderful customer service. Both the front and cleaning crew. Coffee/tea was delicious but only available in the office. The place is older but very clean. Very quiet and I felt safe. Breakfast is not offered but I was within minutes of many choices. I will be staying here again in a few weeks. It is w well worth the money.

Maybe coffee in the rooms and in the office for those of us coming from a 5 hour drive. Or even a cold water bottle would go a long way on hot days like the day we arrived The temp was in the 90s. The pool is no longer available. 😞

Journey Inn did not provide breakfast or coffee. I was able to walk right across the street and buy a fast food breakfast and coffee. The location was well located, clean and easy to find. The staff was friendly. There was an ice machine available to me. The television worked well and there were a fair amount of channels to watch. A great value to me!

A coffee maker in the room, shampoo and conditioner and a much larger selection of television channels to watch. No complaints but it would have been a definite improvement.

Nice town and area. We like the city of Woodland after a long drive from Vancouver, WA. We also liked the large, clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. The bed is very comfortable too. This is our 2nd stay here in 2 years and will be our go to if we go to Arizona in the future.

I wish it had coffee in the rooms. However, they did have coffee in the office that was good after 8:30 AM. No breakfast, but the room was super affordable, so no breakfast is okay. We were missing the shampoo.and conditioner in the room too.

Location perfect, near places we needed to be. It gets an excellent rating because for the price, you get more than what you pay for. The front desk has also become my friends as I always stay here.

People say they want coffee in their room or breakfast, but that would increase the price. Instead, there are a ton of options within walking distance.

Good location near our favorite grocery - the Nugget. Large, clean room with comfy beds and pillow options. Fridge with separate freezer compartment. Excellent wifi and good TV. Sink area outside of wc and tub. Older place nicely updated. We will return.

No breakfast provided, but really no problem at this price.

No breakfast only a Kuerig Coffee maker, no pool, Basic room with basic T.V (five or six channels, no cable/ satellite TV) so if you enjoy many channel options this is not for you.

Perhaps a free breakfast or coffee make r in room would be nice. There was a random, un-housed person ranting behind the building for ~10 minutes or so one night that was a little strange but nothing major.

The original room was a dump and located far away from the front. I didn't feel safe or comfortable. The room 131 had no working electrical outlets, smoke alarm disabled and the door had damage from a break in. It was in a complex inhabited by long term residents, not travelers/tourists. Very creepy

The location was perfect for the things our family wanted to do. Downtown was within minutes of great eating establishments. The staff was friendly and the room was spotless, as well as the grounds and office. Very pleased with our stay! If ever in the area again, we will be sure to stay here!

Our stay was enjoyable with no complaints.
