Hotel has good location little above the city center, rooms are spacious and comfortable, I liked sauna (you ask the receptionist beforehand to turn it on) and small pool for cooldown. There were almost no guests in January, so you practically have all for yourself. Viktoria at the reception was very kind and helpful. Garage available for a little fee, or you can try luck in the steep streets around. I have read the previous reviews (ideally always do that) and the hotel did not surprise with anything, on contrary. it exceeded expectations in some aspects.

There are some little things like little bit of dirt here and there, soeme equipment is a bit older, but I personally do not care about such marginal details, especially considering the price. There were some reconstructions going on during this low season, but as I was outside the hotel during the day, I practically did not notice.

Breakfast was ok (low end of a 4 star hotel), scrambled eggs, sausage, some pastries, yoghurt. Nothing special but ok. Wellness was small but ok (Sauna and a small pool with water massage), it was turned on to our request. Room was clean and descent. Staff was very kind and helpful. For the price (35k HUF per night for a double room), good value for money

Bathroom is small. Parking is difficult although it was possible during the weekend. we could not sit in our bed due to the roof being very close. Overall the hotel is low-end 4 start (or a strong 3 star). WIFI is not so stable (works well early morning, not so good during busy hours)

The outside terrace was a great place to just sit and admire the view

It's a family run hotel as far as I'm aware so don't expect the Hilton type service, that said the staff are friendly and helpful, someone is around 24-7 just be patient and relax that why you are there right

The air conditioning was not very effective and the room smelt a little stale, minor issues and we enjoyed our 1 night here on our road trip

Close to the centrum, beautiful view, the room was nice , the bedding is superb. The breakfast selection was plenty.

Not enough parking spaces and not enough available parking in the area !

We liked view from hotel, food, accomodation, location of hotel, and staff especially Judi, she was helpful and very kind to us. ☺️🌲⛰️

We didn't like only one thing: 1.There wasn't shower gel in apartment, everything else was extraordinary. 🙂

Nice architecture. Free parking possibilities. Clean and silent. Good position (just outside the ancient walls, on a hill with nice view), only a 1o minutes walk to the city center. Good breakfast.

Very small balconies (french type) - hard times for smokers.
