When I arrived there was a misunderstanding with the booking and management was quick to resolve all issues, the staff is friendly, the atmospherecomfortable. The location is great near Union Square walkable to main areas, empire bldg, time Square, other local attractions. If your vegan there was a few great options near by.

Booking.com did NOT have in their payment policy that the hotel has $125.00 deposit daily. I was super over my budget was not able to afford the room it was definitely stressful NOT to have this information.

Location is perfect. The staff is awesome. The rooms are clean, large enough, and very comfortable. I come to NYC every 2 weeks. I do not stay anywhere else. They are upgrading their physical facilities which will make it better yet. Attached is the Bowery Restaurant. Breakfast is outstanding. Ask for Shelly and Jimmy. Do NOT miss the French Toast.

Not 1 Thing

This place is IDEAL for NYC Pride Weekend. PrideFest is LITERALLY right outside the front doors of this hotel. It’s proximity to Union Square Park and station is unbeatable. The staff here is AMAZING. I had an issue with checkin, but the staff’s hospitality made it very hard to stay upset. I stay here yearly for Pride weekend !

I tend to have issues at check-in, going thru booking. It’s quiet frustrating, I don’t know if it’s on bookings end or the hotels end, but the last 3 years there’s been a problem. This year the issue was more on me initially,however the was it was resolved by the morning crew left me with a room cancellation and the afternoon crew with no answers for me as to how it happened.Gratefully I’m local that I was able to return home that night and get the room I booked the following night, but only after rebooking while I was there at the front desk. Obviously using booking.com comes with discounts, but possibly booking DIRECTLY with the hotel is the better option. They seem to have issues with 3rd party sites.

Everything. Greeted at the door immediately by the valet, front desk staff got us checked in early. Facility was clean in every detail. Room was larger than expected, clean, well-appointed, all fixtures and plumbing in great working order, bed clean and very comfortable. A/C worked wonderfully. Halls and elevator spotless. It’s obvious everyone there takes pride in their work and seemed to be happy working there. Location was fantastic…a block from the Union square subway stop and walking distance to the Village. Will definitely stay again!

The service was excellent! Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. Great location and pretty decent-sized rooms for NYC :) We had breakfast in the restaurant which was tasty.

We could hear the elevators from our room and when we informed the front desk about it next day, they wanted to rectify the situation (but we were only in the city one night), but appreciated their offer of support.

The location was perfect. The rooms, though a little small, were clean and seemed new. The bar downstairs is very nice, has such great vibe and has great drinks.

On the first day, one of the elevators didn’t work. The extra 125$ charge per day I wasn’t aware as wasn’t mentioned on Booking. But overall great place!!

Excellent breakfast , room was very clean and quiet, location was great for traveling easily all over the city due to the numerous subway lines converging at Union Square

Both the room and bathroom lacked sufficient counter space

The staff were very friendly and engaged us in conversation as we came and went. They were always so friendly and helpful- recommending the water dispenser in the fitness room, directing me to the downstairs bathroom to refresh after my red eye flight.

I loved it there and wished we were staying longer!

Queen bed very comfortable. Room on 8th floor did not have city view, but still excellent stay. Location of the hotel is excellent. Quiet area and only a two minute walk to Union Square. Staff members were super.

Brighter lighting, but realize reason to lower light is to conserve.

The room footprint was quite small but the interiors/bedding/bathroom were great. The staff were all so amazing and were the highlight of the stay.

The room footprint was a bit small and the spaces around the bed were a tight squeeze to navigate around with large suitcases. There was not enough seating apart from the bed.
