Stayed there with our 2 kids. The location is fabulous , you can discover the city on your own within walking distance, everything is uphill so make sure to bring comfortable shoes. The staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet is across the street at their sister hotel, the food was great. If you are sensitive to noise when sleeping don’t stay there. Otherwise it’s a great deal for your buck.

I didn’t come with high expectations , so there wasn’t any disappointment. We booked the room with the double bed loft so our kids really enjoyed that part.

The location is perfect and the staff were very friendly. They cleaned our room up so amazingly while we were there.

The walls are very thin so we could hear our neighbors at all times. Like if they opened their front, we could hear it every time. And the rooms are quite small.

When other guests talking loud during the night, it can be very noisy. It was too hot if close the window. Asking for the room with window not facing to the pass-through hallway if you are sensitive to sound.

This was our second stay here for months in Hotel Santa Regina. Best location in Guanajuato to visit some of the most iconic sites in the city such as the Basílica Colegiata de Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato. The staff is attentive and helpful. The hotel also offers a nice breakfast at a sister location nearby. Highly recommended.

The rooms do not have air conditioning, which can be a challenge in hot summer nights.

It's located at the center of the historical area. The breakfast was nice.

We suffered from the crazy noise by the night club. It was terrible. The hotel should notice that. Anyway we don't recommend having a three bed type room on the second floor.

Fantastic location near many of the top sightseeing/historical attractions. Staff is professional, friendly and accommodating. Excellent buffet breakfast at nearby sister property. Rooms are clean and spacious.

Only drawback is lack of air conditioning or fan in the bedrooms. It does get a bit warm inside the room.

Location was excellent, the room was good, but no air conditioning, breakfast was not included. The room was close to a nightclub therefore it was quite loud until very late at night, but would stay there again.

It is located in the downtown area, so you have everything within walking distance and easily accessible. Staff are very nice and friendly, asking if you need anything and go out of their way for you.

Everything was great! No complaints.

The location is super central and comfortable. It’s right in the heart of the town but on the street with cars so you can arrive by taxi in front of the hotel. There is a big lift which is great if you have a lot of luggage. Reception was very friendly and the room was nice and clean.

Breakfast was in another hotel and there it was very cold, you needed to come fully dressed there, in jacket etc.
