This is my 5th stay at this beautiful hotel in Palolem. It really is an absolute gem. The warmth and friendliness of the staff is so genuine, and welcomes me back everytime. After a gap of two years this time, Reception Manager Vaishali not only recognised my name on the booking, but remembered my strict dietary needs and room preferences for my stay - this is exceptional work, and I was beyond touched! Manager Pritish and Chef Pankaj met with me, and made sure I was served beautiful food that I could eat safely. Coeliac disease is not well known in this rural area and gluten free products hard to come by so I am really grateful for Pankaj’s care. On this stay I visited the spa, run nicely by Manjila, where I had the recommended 2hr ‘Deep sleep’ massage treatment with Wanda, who was absolutely wonderful, it was an amazing massage experience, I cannot recommend Wanda highly enough! The pool area is beautiful and can feel like an Oasis from the otherwise chaotic and bustling streets and beach nearby, but can get busy at times! The rooms are clean and comfortable with the best sheets and softest beds, I always sleep so well here, the water pressure is excellent and I love the huge shower heads. Thank you so much Vaishali and the team - Dipankar, Karvesh, Ashley - I’m so sorry there were too many lovely people to name! Thank you for all your hard work, and for caring so much. As always, I cannot wait to return!

We stayed for 12 days in this amazing hotel and are planning to go back again. The whole experience was perfect and can't praise he place and the staff enough. The hotel itself is small, which makes it more cosy and personal, with beautiful gardens and pool. The whole hotel was very clean and visibly a lot of staff attended for the place. We had very minor issues during our stay, and in each promptly addressed. The rooms are big, well appointed and very clean. The young man who attended for it daily did an exceptional job. The bathroom was big, well kitted, and the shower was strong. Towels were changed daily. The breakfast was impressive, and everyone found something to enjoy (travelling with two teenage girls). I would prefer stronger coffees, but by all means, the provided option is good. The swimming pool was clean and was treated regularly - this was an issue in other places we stayed in India, no concerns here. We only used the pool in the afternoon when we returned from the beach. Always found sunbeds and pool towels are provided. What we found outstanding is the staff. ALL staff did a fantastic job and made us feel special. Highly recommend the place and will return.

The serene surroundings, breathtaking views, and warm hospitality made our stay absolutely delightful. The accommodations were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed a range of activities, including exploring the nearby attractions, trying local cuisine, and simply relaxing by the Sea.The sea shore is just 500 meters from the hotel. The scenic beauty of Sobi Sarovar is simply stunning, and we felt so lucky to have experienced it with our friends. 😊 We would highly recommend this destination to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with friends or family.

Everything was wonderful except for the fact that the hotel charged me for a chocolate bar from the minibar that was rotten. I handed the rotten chocolate over to housekeeping, but later at the reception I still had to pay for it, even though I explained the situation. So be cautious when using the room minibar.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location couldn't be better—right opposite the beach and surrounded by plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars, making it super convenient for exploring and relaxing. The rooms were a good size, very comfortable, and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel was clean and well maintained throughout, which made a great impression. Breakfast was another highlight. There was a wide variety of options at the buffet, and the live egg and dosa station was a lovely touch that added a bit of charm to the mornings. The only slight downside was that the pool was on the smaller side, but it was still a nice spot to cool off and relax. Overall, a great experience—I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Really great staff. A staff's behaviour is something which can make or break the mood of your stay. The always smiling staff and being actually helpful when needed is what made us like Sobit Sarovar in the first place. Special mention to Aslam who checked us in, Kunal for our room check in, Gaurav/Gautam(sorry dont remember- the guy in red tshirt) for our smooth luggage transfer and always making sure we had an umbrella(yes it was monsoon and it was always raining) even when we forgot to get one from room to restaurant or spa - just great!! All the staff were real polite! Coming to the food - special mention to the head chef there - Mr. Banerjee(I guess that was the name) - Buffet food were just awesome and so was live counter. He went out of his way to make sure that we have a Vegan cake for our special occasion. Thanks Mr Banerjee! Monsoon season has its own set of problems but these guys tried their best to handle the situation. Would definitely recommend atleast for monsoon stay because shacks wont be ready for you like the way these guys are for those rainy days - if you need pampering you should come here!

Tea and Pakoda conflict! This left us a bit sad and it was really a huge disappointment - especially during rainy season - which property would deny Pakodas(if they are already making it) when the guests ask for it - that too during monsoon. I would strongly recommend to remove this weird rule of "get pakodas(that too 5-6 pieces only) - only when you order tea". This rule is kind of bad mark on the whole experience. Guests are ready to pay for it so why not? Also please work on your tea - powder tea - is just not tea!

All staff are very welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way to make our 17 day stay enjoyable. This was our 3rd year in a row to stay here, and this most recent year, was noticeably better than the previous 2.

Two things: Large frosted bathroom window facing into the rooms. When entered in the night, the whole bedroom lights up, disturbing others trying to sleep. The bathroom door has a very powerful return arm that closes the door. Difficult to open and aggressively slams closed. Both not necessary.

Our stay at the hotel was unforgettable. The staff is very friendly and polite, always greets you with a smile and is ready to meet your request. The hotel restaurant has an excellent selection of Indian and continental food. The staff always make you feel at home, I must mention Hussain, Yash, Eleena, Pijush, Manoj and of course the chefs and other staff who make sure everything is as it should be. The rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped. Cleanliness was in the first place. This is a hotel that is close to the beach, as you can reach it on foot in a few minutes. It is well located and affordable but hospitality is their forte!! Congratulations to all the staff for their courtesy and friendliness. We will definitely and happily come back.

The check-in experience could have been better. I informed them that we'd be checking in early and even after confirming the room by 1 pm, we had to wait for an hour in the lobby. Additionally, even after informing that we are celebrating our anniversary, nothing delightful was arranged. Rather, they WhatsApped me a rate card to get room decorated. usually, hotels go above and beyond for this!

Location was good & facilities were very good,pool was clean & tidy,room size was adequate for the 3 of us

Had issues with the third bed which wasn’t ready for us on arrival, the sofa bed was in poor condition & had to be replaced with a proper fold up bed the next day ,we had an issue with number of towels left in room each day we had to keep on asking for extra towels as we had 3 adults in the room other than that the property was good
