- Amazing hotel grounds, right on a beautiful coconut beach. This area of the beach felt super safe. I was scared when they told me we had a cottage on the other side of the road, but it is the calmest part of the property, so definitely a bonus. (the road is a small gravel path); - Family bungalows are huge, and far better than in the picture! There are 2 rooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 sofa, and the other with 2 bunk beds. everything was SO well thought for practicity. - We were offered pool use, it was nice. - very good and safe food in the restaurant

- Communication during the booking was the worst : as soon as I booked the room, they flooded me with messages asking me for a deposit on Paypal within 3 hours or my booking would be cancelled. Pretended they didn't receive deposit, I had to threaten to call Booking customer service to sort things out. That gave me a lot of stress during my trip. - Be aware that there will be a 30% deposit via Paypal before stay! - They made errors in the bill during checkout, not asking for the for the right remaining balance. - Restaurant food is too expensive - Please provide more sunbeds and shadow!

Nice pool, direct access to the sea, great food, comfortable room, great hospitality by the staff, top notch cleaning daily in rooms, lovely atmosphere, so much to say. We loved the stay.

Nothing from the property. But transportation is a bit expensive in this area. Luckily we got support from one local guy who owns the tuktuk, cabs and were very reasonable to take us to near by places.

It’s my favourite place to stay in Goa. Amazing food, quiet location, comfortable beds, staff are amazing.

Having to leave

This is definitely the best hotel and Palolem is the best beach in the region. They have there a restaurant with a huge choice of food and good prices. The entire resort is divided by a road, and I would recommend staying on the part that is not next to the beach, the one next to the beach gets crowded and loud because of the live music.

We did not like the deposit thing, we even thought it was a scam. The hotel asked us to pay a certain amount in advance to their bank account, which our bank did not trust, so it took us a while to sort this out.

This resort is a gem! If you want a posh hotel, you will be unaligned with this property's vision. It has a unique style for those who want an authentic connection with art, people, and mental wellbeing. We loved the boat bath. The studio space for our family, which had enough room for us to watch movies when the sun was hot, chill with a snack on our balcony or inside, or read a book, catch up on emails, and do a bit of work or play games. Everyone could have their space. The art classes exceeded my expectations. They were 1000 for me and 800 for my kids, 6 and 8. The guy took us step by step and taught us fun techniques, and we will all remember. It was like being on an art retreat, and rarely people can teach adults and children at the same time. The restaurant has great food and the waiters are very thoughtful and friendly. They reserved us a lovely table each evening and we enjoyed the live music. We also enjoyed other restaurants in the area. There are so many great restaurants, a short walk along the beach or across the road. The room was cleaned daily. They brought fresh towels and drinking water daily. The staff were so lovely and friendly. I loved the morning yoga classes. They're extra, but not expensive and well worth it. The gym is decent. There's a small extra charge. It's really good equipment and well-maintained.

Everything was great. The swimming pool can get busy, but we just kept an eye out for when it was quiet and went when it was quieter. It's easy to do other things, because there's plenty to do.

Our stay at the Art Resort was absolutely perfect, and went above what we expected. We stayed for 6 nights in one of the double rooms which was really spacious and was cleaned every day. All of the staff at Art Resort are so friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable, especially Kamal who went above and beyond for us (and Raj who makes amazing cocktails). The food was incredible, we ended up eating at the restaurant for 90% of the trip because it was so good and we wanted to try everything on the menu (the Goan fish curry was the best). In the restaurant there's live music every night which is a really nice touch and great way to spend the evening. I'd recommend Art Resort to anyone wanting to visit Palolem - it's perfect for a relaxing beach holiday in Goa.

The friendly staff and personalised service are exceptional! The western(ised) food was much to our liking! The menu has a lot of tasty options to offer delicious choices throughout our stay. The kids enjoyed the ocean and pool so much that we didn't even get to try the yoga, art and pottery classes or the massage. We stayed in the village resort across the street which is still very close to the beach, closer to the pool + pool restaurant and offers outdoor bathtubs to conveniently rinse off the kids. Beachside huts have beach views but you might hear the live music in the evenings till 10pm - village resort seems to be the family friendly option for smaller kids. We hope to be able to come back soon!!

AMAZING!!! This has been our favourite place we have ever stayed in, it is such a good vibe. We went in the beginning of off season however the hotel and restaurant was always full. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the service is exceptional and it is right on the beach. We stayed in the huts at the back of the property that was about a two minute walk to the beach but we preferred it this way as it felt more private. The rooms are spacious and colourful, we loved the authentic vibe. They offer yoga classes, pottery and art classes ! Would highly recommend, it was very family centred and great for any families with children or couples.

No negatives worth mentioning

Stayed 4 nights (2 adults, 1 child) in April and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Food and drinks were great. And the view of the bay at the restaurant is idyllic. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots to do for kids, pottery classes, art classes, pool. And safe beach with a lifeguard. Our room was huge and beds were comfortable. Cleaned every day with fresh towels, plus beach towels. Our room was across the road near the pool, but still only 2 mins walk to the beach and restaurant. Yoga and massage on offer too, but didn't try these. Took a boat to butterfly beach, honeymoon beach, saw turtle rock, and saw dolphins. If you go by tuktuk to the north end of Palolem beach you can take a boat to punt along the backwaters (best at high tide) to see birds and kingfishers in the mangroves. Went by tuktuk to Patnem beach for dinner. Recommend Zest for delicious veggie food. 15 mins by taxi is Mallikarjun temple which is worth a visit. Highly recommend Art Resort at Palolem.

Rooms Cleaned everyday staff helpful and friendly all the services you need in house. Art and pottery courses were a highlight. The studio was great for our two kids. Room service also very useful. Good restaurant with very fast service

Some of the food being turned out of the kitchen tastes of plastic or chemicals maybe the dish soap cleaning the gastro pans? Found it consistently during our week stay. Some of the food is really good and some average. They can’t make cocktails very well
