The breakfast spread offered an impressive variety, making for a delightful start to the day. The beach was exceptionally clean, providing a pristine backdrop throughout our stay. The rooms were generously sized, offering ample space to relax and unwind, filled with natural light that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The view of the beach from the room was truly calming, adding to the overall sense of tranquility. Every aspect of the stay was thoroughly enjoyable, leaving us with wonderful memories.

It’s beautiful, I came here just to play golf and stayed for 2 nights. Expensive for India but well worth it if you want some luxury. The staff are extremely extremely attentive, there must have been 80 people working daily. (strange for me being Scottish). The dinner buffet for 20£ is very good, great choice of food and excellent chef. There’s a private beach 1 minute walk from the rooms. The pool is nice. It’s a bit off the beaten track, but I would bring my wife here and spend some chill time happily There’s a small ‘high street’ & taxis just outside of the hotel. Golf was okay, there is clubs for hire & buggie plus green fee for about 70£. Fairways are immaculate but greens need some love. The room was huge, very clean. No problems with insects. Bathroom spotless. If you want to escape to some luxury then I recommend.

Maybe just the hidden little charges, minibar, mineral water at dinner etc but by European standards this is all normal. No problem really

Exceptional Beach side..wide and beautiful evening walk and tasty food and supportive staff, beautiful surroundings lawns gardens pool, (Depth ws excellant 4.7") Beach side need some sack..or might be some seating area, which can help in evening feel more peacefull and relax at the front of beach area!!!

Need to improve some veg food menu option in room service, vegiee foodiee like us that seen limited 1..or 2 option available in main caurse!! Else not even single point to say....every thing is just PERFECT..!!!!

The LaLiT is very old but the staff tries to keep everything perfectly clean. The staff solved our WiFi problem by request in no time by sending us an IT- expert handing us out an working repeater. All within 1 hour. The amount of personal is astonishing: literally 100s of ppl are working around the clock even at the monsoon season when there are only a handful of guests. The vast area surrounding the building is absolutely clean and under permanent care. The rooms are big, clean, very comfortable with REAL European standard feather pillows! A rarity for India. Unfortunately most restaurants were closed due to the monsoon. The huge pool was 100% clean.

The LaLiT is no longer a 5 star hotel. Maybe not even a 4 star resort by European standards, yet while the service is a 5 star service the house needs MOST urgently a total renovation. We had a non working air ventilation at our toilet, the electrical cords and plugs are very old, some buttons for the lights are missing totally. The room telephone is from the last century and barely working. There are cracks and bumps in the marmor in the rooms. The LaLiT is old, totally out of shape. New paint will do nothing. The room TV is 20+ years old and might have been top of the line in the year 2000, now its antique. The entrance AC is not working anymore and the elevator is out of order. Yet we STILL enjoyed our stay very much due to the 5 star service.

The Lalit resort is luxurious and very relaxing it has everything you need for a perfect holiday. So much so we decided to stay another week!!

While the staff are falling over themselves to help you they do not appear to communicate effectively between each other causing errors and misunderstandings. In such a vast resort as this I think this is something which should be addressed

Aging furniture could use a little modernisation

Simply amazing. All the staffs from front desk to food, spa, swimming, travel desk, cart personnel, security guards, housekeeping, everything is amazing. Of course nothing is 100% but they made it sure everything is well taken care of and addressed timely. PS: my cookies are still pending.

There is nothing as such, other than it’s far from the town but if anyone is coming just to relax, amazing property it is.

Breakfast was good ...This property has a pvt beach and honestly beach is really nice...we really enjoyed our stay @ The Lalit and looking forward for next one.

Lunch & Dinner buffet spread is not what it used to be they should offer more spread like they used to before 4-5 years...we went for Al a carte and the food was good. Room Service as a service made few blunders but Front desk intervene and took care of it.

The room was spacious, well-equipped, well-maintained, and very clean. The terrasse was a nice place to rest. The pool and the beach were good, though the beach is not well-maintained and dirty. The staff was attentive despite a problem (see below).

The beach is not well-maintained and quite dirty. The restaurant staff and the cooks didn't do or understand anything we asked for. For example, we repeatedly asked to be served at the same time since we like to eat together. This never happened in the many lunches and dinners we ate in the hotel's different restaurants. We were always forced to eat separately because we were saved separately. Another example: my wife had a stomach problem at the time. She always ordered unspiced food, she always received spiced food, even at breakfast. This must be corrected in an otherwise 5* hotel.
