The staff were very accommodating and engaging, both upon (our rather late) check-in and in the course of breakfast. There was a very wide range of breakfast items and the food was served promptly and the quality was beyond that which I had anticipated. I requested some vegetarian sausages which were rather tasty and there was no sense of any requirement to rush albeit that the hotel was rather busy. The General Manager was humorous, polite and engaged and the waiting staff were appropriately attentive. Similarly the front of house staff were friendly and engaged. The location of the property was perfect, enabling us to take a short walk along the sea front on the morning after our stay. Additionally, the lounge, which we did not make use of appeared inviting, comfortable and well presented. All in all I should have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.

The single room was by necessity relatively compact but nonetheless, the bed was comfortable, the shower pressure good and attention had been paid to ensuring that the accommodation presented well.

The aesthetics of the hotel, the food was excellent , they accommodated our requirements for a room on the ground floor , the location was excellent and I’ve actually had 2 amazing nights sleep !!! We booked and arrived at our first hotel in Brighton but had to leave there due to the condition and state of the hotel !!!.After finding the Ardington on Booking.com we arrived…. I want to say a massive thank you to PETE AND TIM who were outstanding when we arrived due to our Previous nightmare of an experience earlier in the day . Absolutely outstanding care and service.

We didn’t have dislikes about the property everything was a positive

I liked the decor in the hotel and the ambiance in the breakfast room. The cooked food was very good . It was clean throughout and the location was excellent

It was difficult to use the shower as the shower head was not removable from the mount on the wall and it was hard to get the head in the correct position to get a decent shower. Lack of parking. When we first arrived we couldn’t get a space near the hotel to park and had to park some distance away. Later that evening there was a space so we were able to park closer to the hotel

The location is excellent. It’s close to plenty of places in Worthing and really convenient for visiting Lancing, Shoreham and Brighton. It’s the third time I’ve stayed here, whilst visiting family nearby, and the staff have been really friendly and helpful. The rooms have been comfortable and this one seemed to have been recently redecorated.

It’s clearly stated by the hotel that on street parking is limited but there’s a reasonably priced multi-storey car park nearby. I had no issue at all with the hotel.

Staff were excellent despite working very long shifts, especially Terry who was excellent with all guests especially watching him with the elderly and regulars. The mattress and pillows were amazing, best sleep I have had away from home for a very long time. Reasonable prices and excellent food. Steyne Gardens is on the doorstep and the seafront a hundred yards away, ideal for the Worthing Carnival and restaurants to suit every taste within 10 mins tops. Definitely booking there next time we go to Worthing :-).

Little gem of a family run hotel. Great location just off seafront, lovely decor, friendly helpful staff. Best thing is the food. Breakfast or dinner is an absolute delight with fresh ingrefients, great flavours and attentive staff. One of the best hotels I've stayed at in years !

No lift and narrow corridors mske baggage movements difficult.

The location is within staggering distance of the Seafront & Pier plus there's a smallish tree lined Park fronting the Hotel. Bearing in mind the Hotel has a Three Star Rating, attention to detail was evident - excellent restaurant with good menu presentation even for a 'lite bite', clean and comfortable room. Bearing in mind I had booked 'On the Run' it's not often I stay in a place on Business that I'd be happy taking my Wife back to for a leisurely weekend.

Location is perfect for access to Worthing promenade, restaurants, shops etc, all walking distance. Easy access to bus services, for visiting other towns on the coast. Gardens adjacent to Hotel gave us a “Mini” car rally, and then Worthing food festival.

Car Parking is a slight problem. No on-site parking is available. Street parking has to be paid for via the hotel for all day parking, or via meter for 2 hours max. This is only good if you can find a “space”! Parking is due to change, as per notices displayed on the street.

Staff were fantastic. Super friendly and polite. Nice bar which we were able to sit in for a few jars.

I was asked to swap my room to a single as a couple had been given a single rather than a double. I was on my own so I felt like I could, but even with a partial refund, over £100 for a single room is a bit ridiculous. We were leaving very early on the Sunday and thus there was no cooked breakfast available for us, which was disappointing. The staff did make a huge effort to accommodate us by having cereal, toast, juice and coffee ready. However, for overall value a single room and no cooked breakfast made it seem not great value.

The Ardington Hotel is a jewel of a hotel located just off the seafront in Worthing. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is superb and the restaurant is so good I ate there for both nights of my stay. The room was clean and comfortable and they handled my request to upgrade from single to a double with great courtesy and efficiency. I'm surprised at it's 3 * rating, in my view it should be 4 * and I've stayed in a few that weren't comparable to this.

Honestly, I would struggle to find fault with this hotel. I was staying alone and the staff were extremely sociable especially the lady in the restaurant on a Saturday night who had only been working there for a short time. Unfortunately I didn't get her name.
