The hotel was clean and modern, had a good parking possibility, nice breakfast and most importantly it was nice soft beds. It is merely a 20 minute walk downhill to the old city center, which did prove an obstacle going back uphill. The hill is very steep and I am not in the best shape, so it was a struggle. The hotel didn’t have an elevator either so if you have difficulty moving this is probably not the best choice of accommodation. The view from both the bedrooms and breakfast room were very beautiful and a lovely addition to the nice hotel. The only thing I think needs getting changed is that the room didn’t have any darkening curtains, so in the early morning we were woken by bright sunlight straight into our eyes. Would happily stay here again, if curtains would be provided to the rooms.

Everything. It is a great location to explore charming Bamburg, just a ten-minute walk downhill. Good not to be in the city center and therefore peaceful and quiet surroundings. Free parking. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room is beautiful, comfortable and quiet, and has a beautiful view. Breakfast was European delicious and elegant. Lovely courtyard with beer, coffee and cakes available. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property with a great view of the town. Easy to reach location (with car) and free parking. We only stayed one night and didn’t have breakfast, but our room was really nice and very clean. Lovely decor. Very good night sleep.

The shower doors don’t hold back the water, so the bathroom floor ended up quite wet. The soft orange lamp lighting is beautiful, but we would have liked to have the option of a brighter lamp at times as the room was very dark.

Panoramic views of the city from the bedroom. The rooms are clean and comfortable though the toilets/shower a bit small. Good breakfast at a reasonable cost. The hotel is about a walkable 20mins to the old city. The walk back up was tough as the property is located right on top of the hill, and we had a really good workout. However, one could choose to take the bus to and from the old city. Overall it was a good stay.

The 2nd room we booked, the shower head could not be regulated for warm water. The water was really really hot and our son had to take his showers in our unit instead.

View was great, area was peaceful. The room was spacious, although, it was a bit hot they provided a portable aircon machine. The breeze at night circulated nicely through the room. It is close to the start of a trail on the mountain. The bus stop is just outside the hotel entrance so going to and from town was easy. The hotel cappucino was great.

The hotel is not far from the old town, about several minutes walk away. On a hill outside the urban, you can see the skyline of the old town from the restaurant. The staff is very warm and thoughtful. There is very quiet at night, and the bed is very comfortable. This hotel is worth recommending.

Unfortunately, the restaurant does not provide dinner in the evening.

Lovely spot high up for great views. Very quiet and clean. Close to the old town which was my main reason to visit.

I didn’t mind it, but as it’s up on a hill, and buses are not frequent, something for older people or those with mobility issues to consider.

The accommodation was great! Cute and cozy bedroom with your own bathroom, very comfortable bed and quite quiet hotel. The sraff were very friendly and helpful. And the view from the restaurant is amazing - you have the whole town on the palm of your hand. Highly recommended to stay here.

Its located on top of the hill and our room had a nice view to the town as old town is just a walking distance away. Parking was private and free as well. Late check in was done by keybox.

Lovely location with views over Bamburg - warm and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. Parking was perfect. The staff were friendly and obliging.

It was a bit of a walk into town and uphill on the way home. About 10 - 15 minutes
