Healthy options at breakfast bar and I could leave early by 8am.

Awkward setup of small light with use of extension chord. There should beca hook behind door for a garment bag. No luggage rest in room. My small suitcase could not fit on either armchair. I ended up unpacking it on half of the bedspread. There were no outlets in bathroom for hairdryer.

Room & bath were spotless. Very comfy bed. Loved the bar area, and wrap-around porch, Adirondack chairs and hammocks on the lawn, and our surprising discovery of the historic importance of the inn!

Room & bath were tiny. Delay in opening of coffee and breakfast area. (Not the usual case, according to another guest… )

The dining area was very warm and inviting. Its very tres chic. In love withthe nautical/tropical vibe of the furnishing. Really compliments the Inn’s impeccable taste

The bathroom and shower stall was crammed into a small closet-size bathroom but it was tastefully designed. Loved the toiletries and embroidered hotel logo on the towels adds a welcoming touch

The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Beautiful location - we loved being there in the "off season" and getting to experience Shelter Island w/o the summer crowd.

They should have down comforters on the beds during the off season. There was only a light quilt and no extra blankets in the closet. Also, a really bright outside light was left on almost all night and it shown right into our window (which didn't have any sort of blackout shade).

It is a very charming hotel in a beautiful natural landscape with dears rabbits squirrels. The beach was cozy and the stuff was extremely nice and friendship. It was the best relaxing few days to close our New York visit. I will never forget this holiday.

The staff was nice and accommodating; the building was beautiful; and it was the best calm getaway I’ve had in a while. The hotel also offers kayaks and SUP for free…as well as food for the sheep that are on site.

We loved our stay at Rams Head Inn. The room was small but quaint. With an old charm and wonderful view of the grounds and water. Beautiful grounds. Wonderful location. Great staff.

Beautiful oasis away from it all. Romantic, relaxing and natural surroundings you cannot beat. Lovely dining the food was delicious.

They put the animals away too soon

Quiet, beautiful, great food, wonderful staff. We even got to meet the owner and hear more about her vision for the hotel - one which we strongly support.

The property is quiet and private. The grounds are beautifully kept. The staff are attentive and friendly.

It’s a bit pricey.
