This hotel is in a great location as it is walkable from the Train Station and to the Shopping District of Greenport. The facility is a good size - not too large and not too small. Swimming Pool and Hot tub was enjoyable, clean and taken care of. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to Museums and Shelter Island Ferry. TV a d WiFi reception is great. Interesting retro design.

Some rooms could use a couple more outlets for charging phones (and what not) but visitors can still get by with the number of outlets available. It would be good to have a Standard bar of soap in each room. While they do provide soap via a bottle with a pump. My opinion is that a standard bar of soap would be better for taking a shower than the liquid soap dispensers that they already have.

Loved our stay at Greenporter Hotel. It was a last-minute booking for a long weekend exploring North Fork, and we couldn't have found a nicer spot for the price. The rooms have been simply but nicely updated from the old motel. The mattress was really comfortable. There's wonderful Grown Alchemist products in the bathroom that smell divine. It was too cold for a dip in the (smallish) pool, but we enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening. Would stay here again.

Felt very European. Understated elegance. Nice touches like citrus infused water. Use of bikes for free. Young men at desk were helpful, friendly, and enjoyable to talk with. Pool area surroundings and landscaping much more appealing than the usual concrete slab. Great location. Easy to walk anywhere in the little downtown area, to the waterfront, the ferry and the train depot.

The bed and pillows were fine but not remarkable.

Room was big and comfortable. Pool and tub were welcome after a drive and 2 days in the city, complementary towels. Great location in town near the dock, shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar/cafe on site which serves the pool area.

Would have liked tea/coffee in the room for the price but a very minor point. We were sad to not stay longer.

Though an old style motel it has been updated and is stylish with a nice restaurant/bar on the grounds. Has a nice location and friendly staff.

We were originally told they would try to get us in our room earlier, but I think the ball was dropped and it didn't get communicated during a shift change, but it didn't end up impacting our stay.

There was a date scramble with booking.com. When we corrected the mistake the price increased from 233 to 337 both including tax. Then when we checked out the price increased to 418. In a follow up phone call the manager refunded the 85 check out increase. Still paid the extra $104 for the date change.

Only stayed one night as we stopped over in Greenport to catch ferry to the south of long island the next morning. The hotel staff were very friendly, the rooms spacious and clean and a lovely pool and outside bar. A short walk into the harbour area led to some nice shops and restaurants

This property is perfectly located. It has a very clean and beautiful pool, the rooms are great and clean, and the staff is very cool.

Maybe if the bar stayed open later at night… We are party people lol

location. coffee at 7am. heated pool. jacuzzi. pool area relaxing. a nice addition would have been a DVD player with a few movie selections.

no one in the lobby to answer questions. we had a question about TV movies Netflix available. I asked the question in a text and no response.
