The hotel is on the main road through the town. Despite that it was very quiet. The bedroom was large with big beds. We had the optional breakfasts which were tasty and substantial. It is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the street which takes you down to the harbour and has a lot of restaurants and cafes (although many were closed out of season). The owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a strict music policy ;-)

Spatious, clean, airy room, shaded balcony, mosquito net on the door and window, we served breakfast in the morning in the inner courtyard, with grapes from the garden. Close to the pedestrian street that leads to restaurants in the port. We thank the host for the prompt answers and gentlemanly kindness.

The staff was friendly, gave us good advice on restaurants. You can get coffee downstairs.

No kids allowed, but this can actually be a positive for some 😀

The best part was cleanliness. I have visited around 20 or 30 hotels and motels during the last 10 years, and I have never seen so clean rooms. Even 5 star hotels sometimes have hair below the mattress, but here - not even a single grain of sand. The owners welcomed me when I arrived with coffee and small talk about the local tourist attractions. They shared Ahtopol's history and there was a lot of truth in their words. There are a lot of books in the hotel's lobby and you can read any of those for free (just keep in mind, they are in Bulgarian). The hotel is a lot of fun if you are enthusiastic about cool architecture, I advice every traveler that goes to Ahtopol, to select the Colourful mansion hotel as their "base" so to speak.

There were no downsides. The only thing that could've been better, was if the hotel was closer to the beach. This is unfortunate something out of the owner's control.

Cozy, nice and comfortable room with gorgeous balcony. The owner was very kind, offered us the best coffe in Bulgarian Black sea cost.Fully recomend it.Amazing for a romantic couple trip!

Everything was fine

Very nice colourful Hotel. Large rooms with big balcony with sea view. Very clean. Great shower. Very friendly and helpful owners. Good breakfast. Great location very near to the center and the beach but sufficiently far to be very quite. Thank you!

Nice hotel, with a real effort on decoration as each room is a specific color, with matching objects. The owners are very nice as well. Important to note: this has to be one of the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been in

We like very much our stays in the hotel. Actually we keep booking a room here for a third, maybe forth time. Everything is just perfect.

As always, we had a great time in Sharenata kushta - we loved the room, breakfast, parking spot, the kindness and helpfulness of the personnel and the attention to every small detail.
