We checked in late at 11pm having spent the day at Soho Farmhouse and the staff were more than happy to accommodate and welcome us. We were offered a suite upon arrival, which was also a nice surprise. The hotel is spotless and has all the amenities and luxuries you would expect. Breakfast was exceptional and so were the attentiveness of the staff.

To be really nit-picky I would have liked a feather pillow, but this also comes down to personal preference. The bed and bedding was otherwise very comfortable.

The Weston Manor Hotel is in a 15th century manor house. The locale is great, between Oxford and Bicester, easy to get to by car, lovely countryside all around. We stayed for two nights. Breakfast was a la carte on the first morning and buffet on the second. They were both very good in general. We stayed in the Chapel Suite - highly recommended and characterful, in keeping with the historic manor house. It's not often you get to sleep in a proper old-school four-poster bed! It'd be hard to find a room like this at a better price - you'd easily pay double the amount for a room like this in most other places.

Unfortunately, if you're looking for a stay in a characterful hotel that is in keeping with the historic and culturally significant building, unless you stay in the Chapel Suite, you're going to be disappointed. It would have been nice if the rest of the hotel, including the other rooms, had been furnished in a manner more sensitive to the beautiful building. The hotel describes that 'the manor has been carefully brought into the present day without losing an ounce of its original character.' Whilst the Chapel Suite and the great hall are beautiful and tastefully presented, as can be seen in the photos on booking.com much of the hotel has indeed lost quite a lot of its original character.

Absolutely Stunning Stay – Can’t Wait to Return! From the moment we arrived at this beautiful stately manor, we felt welcomed and cared for. The manor & gardens were impressive & beautifully presented. Staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and went out of their way to accommodate my medical needs, especially during mealtimes – which meant the world to me. Speaking of meals… the evening dinner was simply exceptional – hands down the best food I have ever tasted. We were delighted to learn from the staff that everything is made using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can truly taste the difference. Even the bar snacks were fantastic – full of flavour and beautifully presented. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to experience the Afternoon Tea there, which looks absolutely delicious.. Our room was just as impressive – spacious, elegant, with a super comfy bed and a lovely, large bathroom complete with a powerful shower. Everything was spotless and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal – just a stone’s throw from Blenheim Palace and Bicester Village, making it perfect for exploring the area. Truly loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back again very soon!

We stayed in a Junior Suite in the Coach House and the accommodation was modern, quirky and very well appointed. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was of a very high quality. The staff were friendly and very helpful. This is the second time that we have stayed at the hotel, both times in a Junior Suite, and the standard was exceptional on both occasions. It is a very short journey to a Park and Ride into Oxford so the location really worked for us. The grounds are very attractive with lovely outside seating areas. We would highly recommend.

We have no negative comments.

Beautiful location near Bicester Village, perfect for a post shopping treat. Gardens are exceptional. The food was excellent.

Watch your final bill. The hotel added a surcharge that covered the difference between the Booking.com rate and the RRP. We had eaten and had one bottle of wine at £149 and my husband put all other drinks on his account so I was surprised to see an extra £36 added to the bill. Really naughty business practice. The staff were helpful but they were undertrained and understaffed. The gardens had glasses left lying around. At breakfast they ran out of most food (it was restocked) glasses and service was slow

Found this amazing gem on Bookings.com. Booked the Bell Tower Suite for one night to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary and we were certainly not disappointed. As we drove along the access drive the imposing manor was visible through the stone pillars of the main gate. The manor is a grade II listed building with superb architecture, skilfully adapted for its new role. On entering the building its full opulence becomes apparent. The furniture appears to have been selected to enhance the character of the building and this has certainly been achieved. The bell tower suite is on the second floor and is accessed via 6 short flights of stairs the last three of which are quite steep. Inside this quaint “under the eaves” room is a delight to see. It’s much longer than wide and segregated into three areas, the reception area with wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities, snacks and a useful mini refrigerator. To the left is the bathroom and “bell” securely suspended above the luxuriously deep bathtub. A sitting area with large flat screen TV is located in the centre, and a large very comfortable king sized bed at the far end of the room. Considering the age of the property dating back to the 13th Century, the room and whole hotel was pristinely clean and superbly maintained. Dinner was a set menu consisting of three courses with ample choice for each course. The food was presented exquisitely, and did not disappoint. Breakfast was included in our room rate, with full cooked English breakfast and continental style offerings available, and as with everything else about Western Manor was delightful. We were seated in the main dinning room which I assume was the original “great hall” which retained the original oak panelling on the walls, beamed roof trusses and stained glass windows. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. All in all a luxurious place to stay with superb architecture, history and staff, at an affordable price.

There was nothing not to like at this hotel

Overnight stay . Room excellent .superb comy bed great shower .quiet at night . Dinner excellent and beyond expectation. Ambience calm Staff friendly. Beautiful gardens . High end quality

Would have preferred back bacon, not streaky for breakfast, .also choice of artisan breads for breakfast would have been good . No peppermint tea in room ,on asking was provided . Just black out blind on G/F room . Needed a light blind or angled shutter as I could have been seen from car park if blind was up ! No comfy chair which would have been nice to relax in- mentioned this and was told if asked on arrival one could have been provided. Swimming .pool was closed for renovation . Courtyard which was lovely was separate from main building- ok in fine weather .

A beautiful building in a great location. They clearly invest time and money in ensuring the building and grounds are maintained - the gardens are so impressive. Rooms were fab, as were bathrooms, and beds really comfortable. Lots of secure parking, free EV charging and very friendly staff. We'd probably return, just a shame about breakfast.

Breakfast is basic (really basic - expect Premier Inn style options). No menu, so nothing like poached eggs, eggs benedict, fresh yoghurt or porridge (except packets/pots that you add water to) etc etc. It really is just a help yourself buffet style with the minimum options. Oh, and watch our for the service charges added to bills when checking out - I presume every time you order a drink from the bar they add a service charge to our final check-out bill, no doubt it's mentioned somewhere.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. We were celebrating our anniversary and received some bubbles on the house which really made the trip feel special. The suite was exceptional, what isn't to love about a double bath!

Quite honestly, I can't fault it. The only suggestion would be a proper fitted fridge, as the mini fridge gave a teenagers 2000's 'woolworths' vibe, which doesn't suit the theme of this room.
