Not really close to attractions but a nice location, very close to the shopping village full of brand names that my wife loved. I went to be close to Blenheim palace which in the car is not far away. I noticed people going in and out of the front door you can leave by the back door closer to the car park. But can not get in that way. The car park is very easy and on the property.

Toast is not a continental breakfast there was no croissants or muesli. Hard to wash hands when there is no sink in the kitchen.

Perfect for the intended purpose, in my case a low cost bed for the night while attending an event at Blenheim Palace. It all runs on autopilot, code for entry and key is in the room. Modest room but comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Continental breakfast provided, all self service, but in all really good value for the money. Free off street parking behind the building an added advantage.

Not much to complain about. Shower head is a bit low down, no issues for just one night.

Very good location with a Bus stop into Town and Oxford and a Pub opposite which does food also a Chippy and Chinese and Co-op and a Bakery and a Launderette within a couple of minutes walk away also ample parking at the rear of the property and self check-in works very well

Didn't give 10 Stars as the only thing that disappointed me was the Shower head in room 6 was very low in height and I had to hold the shower head in one hand I am only 5ft 9

Booked for my son as he was on an MOT course for 4 days 19th January-23rd January. He said it was a great place to stay on a budget, Staff were very friendly. Parking available at the back of the B&B and across the road at the White Horse pub. Room 5 was nice and clean with a double bed. Bedding was changed on the 3rd day 👌. Breakfast was readily available anytime and able to make a cuppa whenever. Would definitely recommend if looking for a budget stay 😊

So why give it a 10? Primarily because the owners are honest and say exactly what it is, and for what it is it’s great. It was clean, good Wi-Fi, good shower, comfortable bed, secure parking. I travel around a lot, so come equipped with ear plugs and an eye mask…so I couldn’t tell you if it was noisy or not, I really don’t think it was. Good comms in terms of self check-in. It is a ‘large house’ so the owners ask you to behave yourself in terms of noise, which is fair enough. We should respect other guests. Breakfast is indeed basic, but at the price I’m happy they provide it at all. I had had hot toast with Nutella and a coffee, fine for me. All nicely provisioned in a clean dining area. You can help yourself to coffee and tea any time you like. Good pub over the road with sports TV and good food. I’d like to say thanks for providing good, secure, budget accommodation within half an hour of Oxford. I’ll be back.

Not the owner’s fault, but the left gatepost isn’t in line with dropped kerb, so it’s easy to hit the fairly high kerb with your car wheel when you turn in from the road. Difficult to see in the dark. Maybe a little flag of that on the check-in instructions? Or maybe I should have been a bit more careful!

The accomodation was exactly as stated. Clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was adequate with a choice of four cereals, bread for toast and a variety of spreads. Ample parking, and in a quiet area. Excellent location, being a 20 minute walk to town (and we are in our 70´s). Certainly worth the money.

The option for decaf coffee would have been nice.

Great place. Cozy bedroom, quiet place, Had everything you might need: Soap, mini fridge, tv, coat hanger, hot shower, etc. Room service clean and tidy almost every day. The dining room is stocked up with milk, bread, orange juice and other refreshments. Parking is also easily accessible.

The shower head can be a little higher.

Not really the fault of the property as it was an uncomfortably warm weekend but this made the room very hot. Also the small fridge supplied did not work.

The room was very clean, not least the carpet, always the sign of a well-maintained property. And it delivered exactly what it claimed to - a basic B&B with a continental breakfast, albeit only if you got there before some greedy b*****d decided to raid the fridge of the orange juice carton, as happened to me this morning - but that is NOT the fault of the hard-working staff there. The only thing I would recommend is that you bring your own soap etc.! The only toiletry supplied was a sachet of shower gel that was supposed to last me THREE days but was obviously gone after a single shower! Hm… For more than £85 a night I would expect more!

See also above. There was noise from passing traffic, not least from around 0600, and my room was at the side of the property rather than the front or back, but that’s hardly the fault of the property. But it was well situated on the outskirts of town.

Clean, good location and comfortable. Use of the dining room at all times was certainly a plus point . Good shower facilities and spotless room, very comfortable beds. Good car parking facilities and an excellent chip shop together with a nice Chinese takeaway made food options easy! A pub across the road too!

No plug in washbasin and mini fridge did not work.
