My wife and I travelled from Manchester to Bicester and we stayed at the Lime Trees Farm for 1 night, we arrived late to the hotel and the owner was very friendly, despite being busy cooking her dinner. She greatly assisted in explaining the facilities available, finding out our preferred breakfast, and guiding us to find a local resaurant and kindly making reservation for us. Breakfast was great, not only from quality and taste of freshly cooked meal but also in the friendly environment from owners and other guests staying in the same hotel. The hotel is very clean, and we had a comfortable sleep. It is one of the places that you do not feel ad you are in hotel, but visiting close family members.

I like everything in this place including the location within the green and quiet nature, fresh air, clean house and very friendly owners. The only thing that could improve is the provision of shower facility in addition to the bath.

Caroline was very welcoming and made me feel at home. The house is full of character, is beautifully presented, very clean and tidy. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed, the bedding is impeccable, and of high quality. The private bathroom again was exceptionally clean, with again high-quality fittings and fixtures, towels, and gowns provided for my stay were kitten soft and had a lovely fragrance. Caroline asked me what time I would like my breakfast and what I would like. I got up, and Caroline prepared me a lovely fresh breakfast, including eggs laid by her hens.

There was nothing that needed improvement.

Lime Trees Farm is an excellent B&B is a quiet part of the countryside outside Bicester. Caroline is an ideal host, she conjures up a first class breakfast (which set us up for the day ahead!) and we were very happy with the whole experience - it was ideal and exceeded our expectations. The room we had was beautifully decorated and furnished, complete with TV, tea/coffee etc and a glorious view over her garden and the wider countryside - it was quiet too. We will certainly be back for another stay.

We enjoyed the stay so much, we soon realised that we should have booked more than one night!!!!!

Relatively easy to get to.. well maintained country/Farm house lived on by the family who rents out a couple of spare rooms to short stop guests

Not a lot to dislike, as long as you know what to expect. Luckily we did not have much time to stay inside as we went late in the night and got away early morning, so wasn’t sure if any other areas like living room etc were accessible for guests to use, because if you have to stay in for a few hours in daylight then it will be a little boring to spent the time in a smaller room. The room we had did not have an attached bathroom, but i guess it’s my own fault for not reading that properly, but did not cause any inconvenience as we (my wife and I) were the only ones using that bathroom

Comfortable, spacious, light filled room (we stayed in the tapestry room) with adjoining bath, at the top of impressive historic home. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, sitting in the beautiful garden, walking in the surrounding countryside, and meeting our gracious hosts and their animals.

Everything was to our liking and we wish we could have stayed longer!

I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful house set in lovely gardens. Caroline and her husband were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious cooked breakfast with eggs from their own hens, as well as fresh fruits, homemade jam, etc. My room and bathroom were very spacious, well equipped and elegantly decorated I had a blissful night's sleep, too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely b and b.

Interesting builder with lots of quirky old design. It is an original farmhouse that’s been beautifully changed for B&B. The entrance is big and lovely with the rooms and bathrooms very interestingly decorated. The owners served an excellent breakfast and were attentive and friendly but not intrusive. It was a lovely stay.

Breakfast on Saturday was delicious with fried eggs, bacon, toast, mixed fruits and lots of tea and coffee. Sunday was more sedate after a day out at a family wedding. So toast and marmalade, tea and coffee hit the spot

It was only a short visit, so all good.

Superbly located in rural Oxford, a quiet, tranquil B&B of the highest standard. A very welcoming Caroline made us feel totally at home and a superb, leisurely breakfast next morning saw us on our way totally replete.

A quirky property that has been updated since its construction in the mid 1700's(!) lacks a shower cubicle but this is a small niggle in an otherwise top-notch establishment.

We have never stayed in such a charming place before, and it's not just a farm — it's a place with its own history, or rather, stories! Caroline and Keeth were so kind to us, and sharing breakfast and conversation was one of the most memorable moments of our trip. I hope we return to this wonderful home and these amazing hosts someday. Thank you!
