We had a wonderful stay at Villa Sigurata! The hostess was absolutely fabulous—so welcoming and helpful. The location couldn’t be better: tucked away in a quiet alley, just a short stroll to both Buža Bars and the amazing Kopun restaurant. We felt completely safe and loved being in the heart of Old Town. It was a bit tricky to find at first—street signage is different here and you have to look up to spot the names—but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. We stayed in the main building where the reception is, which was super convenient. The bathroom was a bit narrow, but it was totally manageable. Overall, it is a charming and comfortable spot—we’d happily stay again!

Location on the sea side of Old Town was prime! Only had to walk up/down less than 12 steps to reach the hotel (as opposed to the other (mountain) side of Old Town. Walkable to everything I wanted to see and do. Nikolina was very helpful and friendly. Luca (her husband) picked me up at DBV and brought ne to Old Town where Nikolina met me and Luca brought my bags to Villa Sigurata

The bathroom is tiny. Manageable for one person, but two people cannot fit in the bathroom

We loved the location of Villa Sigurata! It was so convenient having our room right in the heart of the old city of Dubrovnik. Nikolina was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning, refrigerator and hair dryer in the room worked great. My friend and I also loved the charm of the room with the stone walls and shuttered windows.

Our bathroom was small but functional. It was also a bit difficult to find when we arrived since the street it is located on did not show up on our phone. A small map outlining the path from the gate with landmarks would be helpful.

This was our first visit to the beautiful city of Dubrovnik and we could not have picked a better place to stay in the Old Town. Villa Sigurata boats a fantastically convenient location adjacent to the harbour. The room and bed were both comfortable and the airconditioning provided a welcome relief from the mid day heat. We would also like to express our thanks to our host Nikolita who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the best things to do in Dubrovnik. We especially appreciated her suggestion of buying the "Dubrovnik Pass" which was an excellent investment. If we are ever fortunate enough to come back to Dubrovnik we will aim to stay at the Villa Sigurata again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Nothing, Villa Sigurata was the perfect place to stay and super value for money.

The aircon worked perfectly, had a lot of towels and toilet paper, small fridge with coffee machine. Just in the middle of everything.

It was on the top floor, so it was very hard to carry everything if you are travelling with heavy luggage maybe asked first which floor, I was room 8, the last one plus the roof was decline so you keep hitting your head at some point, is not for tall people. And i didn’t get any help with my luggage which it would’ve been nice after a very long day of travel.

Location - Excellent Clean - Absolutely Quiet - Definitely Safe and Secure - Certainly Friendly hospitality started with Luka the owner, picking me up at the airport. When traveling by yourself to a new location where you don’t speak the language, there’s nothing better than having somebody waiting to whisk you to your hotel. And Nicolina, his wife and owner, standing there as soon as we parked the car to guide me into Old Town Dubrovnik to Villa Sigurata was wonderful. Nikolina was a fabulous and lovely hostess offering knowledgeable local suggestions in perfect English. But of course she would be knowledgeable, her family has lived in Dubrovnik old town town for many generations. And she was extremely helpful making new arrangements after she found out the hotel at our next destination had unexpectedly canceled. And their daughter Romana was delightful! Equally knowledgeable of Dubrovnik and its history. She possessed a pride in her town but also in her families history in that town. Oh yes, and a GREAT driver! I hope to return one day to visit Dubrovnik but especially to have a reunion with Nikolina, Luka, and Romana to see all 4 girls in their traditional Dubrovnik outfits, some saved by their Grandmother from destruction by the invaders during the war.

I loved staying at Villa Sigurata! A charming home in a quiet, convenient location, it was perfect for exploring Old Town. Nikolina could not have been any more friendly, kind, informative, and accommodating. After a warm welcome, she shared a lot about the history of Dubrovinik and offered some excellent recommendations for dining & activities. My room was great, with a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom with shower. Very highly recommend! 😊👍🏻

Here's what I really liked about this place: 1. Location: It's within the walls of the fortress ... which is amazing. So really close to so many restaurants and cafes, tours, and activities. 2. Quiet: It's down a quaint little side street removed from the bars and any loud music. With the upgraded windows, it was very quiet and I slept well. 3. Host: Nikolina was very sweet, gave me a map with so many options for great restaurants, where to get the Dubrovnik Pass, and in general really great advice. I also had a little issue with my fridge and she replaced it in short order. Really attentive and kind. 4. The room is spacious and has old world charm. Bathroom is a good size. Water pressure was good. And I should mention for being inside the fortress, the steps up to my room were proper unlike other places I've stayed within the walls of an old city. Very helpful when carrying luggage.

Great location, very convenient for visiting the museums, restaurants etc but in a quiet location. The rooms have a great deal of charm and character. Nikolina was extremely welcoming and efficient and always on hand for any queries you might have. If I am ever fortunate enough to visit Dubrovnik again, I would not hesitate to stay at Villa Sigurata once more.

Great Location in the old City. Nikolina is a lovely host-very informative with great tips re: visiting the old city. Great water pressure. Tea and coffee provided. Comfortable bed- 2nd floor- exactly the same as the photos on the website. Very comfortable stay for us.

Steps (3 lots) to get the luggage in....however it was not as bad as we thought it would be. Bathroom is narrow/tight but not complaining it was good for us.
