The pool and the grounds were amazing. We were lucky to see deer one night when we were sitting out by a fire pit. On arrival staff were welcoming and helpful. The free tea and coffee at reception was an added bonus. The beds were very comfortable. We had a room with a pool view. It had a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. We also made use of the onsite laundrette. It was free to use and you can buy powder at reception. We really appreciated that. The complimentary breakfast was served until 10am. It was very tasty. This motel is within walking distance to the Main Street in Fredericksburg.

Bathroom could do with being updated. It did the job but It was only thing that stopped me giving this place a ten because everything else was perfect.

The outdoor amenities at this hotel are great. We always stay here when visiting Fredericksburg. It is close enough to walk to shops and restaurants.

The room we stayed in is starting to deteriorate, particularly the bathroom. The flooring is starting to show water damage. There were multiple obvious poorly patched spots in the drywall. The toilet ran, so you had to jiggle the handle to stop it. Water pooled outside the bathtub when I took my sho, which is probably why the flooring is getting water damaged. It also smelled musty. This was disappointing because we normally have a great experience here. Some TLC is greatly needed.

Location is great. Breakfast is great. The grounds are beautiful.

I was given a pool-side room-- which is apparently an upgrade. I've stayed here in the past and know that the pool area can be noisy but on this stay it was unreasonable. People in the pool were screaming at the top of their lungs until it closed at 11PM. (seems late for a public space). Then one very loud, very thoughtless family decided to have dinner at the table 10 feet from my door midnight-12:50 AM. There were tables further away from the building and they made no attempt to hush their voices. I think the hotel could improve expectations for quiet hours in the public spaces after a certain time-- there was no signage to remind guests of other guests' comfort. And maybe close the pool earlier than 11PM.

Location is excellent for access to main street while walking and to other amenities by car. The room was spacious and well presented but beginning to look a bit tired. We would use the hotel again based on location.

As with our previous visit breakfast is we feel limited to processed food products and relies on everything being disposed into the bin, there is no recycling of plastic or even an attempt to separate for recycling. I guess coming from Europe we find this difficult to accept in today’s world. We skipped breakfast for this reason and found some very good local restaurants.

The whole place is perfect. Great staff, room, pool, spa pool. Just a few minutes walk up to the main street with many restaurants to choose from. I'd definitely stay here again.

Pool was closed until day after we left and we weren’t notified until check in , payed extra for a pool side room which was pointless as pool was closed , was told at check in if you want any money back contact booking .com not us, was a very hot day and had booked solely because of pool , Was then given room keys to room 102 which was not pool side and was indeed the hotel office , went back to reception was asked is there something wrong ? When I told her she had checked us into the office we were then told well I’m dealing with all of these people now , you will have to wait

Loved the outside, 2 beautiful pools and a jacuzzi. 2 places with fire pit. Fabulous breakfast. I had bacon, potato and egg burrito. OJ. Good coffee is available all the time. With in walking distance (for most people) of Main Street. The room has comfy bed, great AC and fast WiFi. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back.

We had to ask for a shower curtain and there was no alarm clock or UBS ports. We only had 1 set of towels, not 2. Housekeeping was very busy to be fair) There are no drapes and the blinds let in a lot of light. There was no folded blanket over the end of the bed. (I get cold, hubby loves the AC.) Parking and maneuvering in the parking lot is difficult if you drive a larger vehicle. (F150.).

The outside grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Live the fire pits. The breakfast was great. Staff was courteous and very helpful.

Our first room was great. It was a standard king. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We decided to stay longer and was moved to a full standard. This room was not clean. Especially the bathroom. I took pictures and showed the assistant manager, and he was very apologetic and appreciated us letting them know so it could be taken care of. Even with the second room not being up to standard, we will definitely stay at this property again when in Fredrickburg.

The rooms are small but perfect for us. Everything was clean and well kept. Lots of outside areas for eating, sitting. Beautiful scenery. There is a small stream behind the courtyard. Absolutely stunning!. I enjoyed watching the fish in the stream and rock hunting. Like having a strip of nature in town. Breakfast was better than expected. Not just the usual stale sweet rolls. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy waffles, and much, much more. This place is definitely more than I expected for the price. We will be staying here again.

For a last minute stay this place was great in the following: location, comfort, price and hospitality. We didn't get to use their pools but they looked clean and the families in there seemed like they were enjoying it. The check in and out process was really easy. I didn't know that breakfast was included until I was leaving but we stopped in for a quick bit, and there was a great variety of food (hot and cold breakfast options). I would definitely stay again if and when I am back in Fredericksburg.
