We really like the modern, Euro vibe of Tru hotels. The lobby area is quite spacious and combines a variety of seating options, the breakfast area, and a game (pool, foosball) area. Whenever we passed through, there were guests enjoying the space. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of healthy options. We also liked that they used paper instead of plastic for the bowls and plates. Our room was small, but comfortable. Some may not like the tile floors, but I'm sure they're cleaner than most hotel carpets. The reception staff were all very friendly.

I liked the different varieties for breakfast. You could make your breakfast anyhow you want it. The bed was well laid and the janitor comes to change the sheets, make the bed and clean the room daily. The bathroom soap, conditioner, shampoo, body lotion and hand wash were on point. They had good scents as well. They were not harsh on the skin - they were mild.

I did not like that there was no wardrobe and microwave in the room. The wardrobe shelf would have been appropriate for keeping your suitcase in there and hanging your clothes. You had to go downstairs to microwave your food. The refrigerator was quite small. It can't take much food for more than one person for multiple days.

The room they gave us had some sort of problem and there was a big noisy fan running to dissipate dampness. They were responsive to getting us a different room. I've stayed here before and I like the location and proximity to the city. Nice staff. Nice rooms.

Per the what did I like, they never should have assigned us to a room with a problem, so there was a disconnect in communications from the cleaning/maintenance staff to the front desk. The other thing I don't like, and this has happened before at this hotel: my digital key NEVER works for me! Even after they reset it at the front desk so I won't bother to even try in the future.

Great room! It was very clean and comfortable. Check in was quick and easy. They are very pet friendly and only charged a small fee for the stay. The breakfast was awesome and they even had gluten free or gluten friendly options including GF bread for toast which is rarely an option at other hotels. Thank you for the great stay!

It was probably just our TV in our room but there was a major lag with the remote. It took about 30-40 seconds after pressing a button for it to register and change the channel or selection.

The room was beautiful and clean. Housekeeping was provided, as were plenty of towels. I hate to have to ask for clean towels. The bed was very comfortable. The room furnishings were nice. The bathroom was bright and clean. I like that shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were provided in dispensers. The lobby area offered lots of snacks along with a microwave. There was a refill station for water bottles which was very nice and eco-friendly. The room had recycle bins which are a plus.

Breakfast was just okay. The eggs were pretty good.

Clean, bright & cheerful

(1) Pillows - need a medium or firm option (for side sleepers). 2 on the bed were small, soft & slippery poly fiber, and 2 were feather that flattened into hard lumps; stacking & folding didn't work. (2) Couldn't get the tv off of the welcome screen. Wanted some veg time after arriving late, but didn't want to spend time calling for service as I was trying to relax & sleep. Could a guide to using the tv be put in the room?

This was an exceptionally fun and fine stay. The hotel exceeded expectation in every way. The breakfast was the best I've ever had in an all-inclusive. The beds were comfortable, there were three pillows to choose from, and every time we pass the desk we were cheerfully offered bottles of water. Everything about it was wonderful.

The property was exceptionally clean, and so colorful. The room decor was bright and cheery. Loved the comfort of the beds, and the comforter. Soap and shampoo products were amazing. Loved the free water bottles. Loved the games in the lobby and the newer style of furniture. Great snacks to purchase.

Free breakfast was a 5 out of 10. Coffee was just okay. Running Water had air in the lines so the shower stopped but then got it to run again.

The staff was incredible! Very friendly and helpful. The small store was a huge bonus, especially if you forgot your contact solution like I did :) lots of fresh fruits, juices and other great little snack to avoid a trip to the store. Beautiful place. Very clean, recently updated, fantastic small touches everywhere.

If I have to find an I didn't like, I would say the towels were scratchy, mattresses firm, and pillows softer than my preference. Would stay again but bring my memory foam pillows :)

We traveled with a youth team and having the amazing lobby space to enjoy dinner together and an evening of games and socializing is what keeps bring us back to these hotels:) I also appreciate the clean, spacious rooms, especially the non carpeted floor feels much cleaner to me.

It was definitely not the closest hotel to our event the next morning, about a 25 minute drive. And some of our families need bigger rooms that aren't available so they had to book 2 rooms.
