Large room with a courtyard, near the water's edge. Views over the Lake toward the township of Yarrawonga. Allocated parking per suite - very welcomed. Small kitchenette with basic facilities. Included, cooked breakfast was generous in size but unexciting in presentation! Rooms are part of the Mulwalla RSL, which hosts Happy Hour drinks and a well priced Bistro for Lunch/Dinner meals. Plenty of "one arm bandits" if you fancy a flutter on the Pockies.

While the bathroom was exceptionally large, with a double shower, the lack of glass screening on all sides of the shower, meant that there was water everywhere after a shower.

The Room: Very large, with good seating and ample space for bags etc. The private courtyard area was lovely and had a great view across the water. The room was clean throughout. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was clean. The kitchenette area was excellent and very clean also. The Bathroom: The bathroom was a great size, with impressive double basin and bench top space, good lighting, huge mirror, plenty of towels, and all very clean. The shower was extremely impressive in size, with two shower heads and very good drainage. The water pressure was also excellent, with ample hot water as required.

The only slightly strange thing was that the toilet was actually located within the shower space. There was no door or shower curtain as such; it was a case of just walking into the toilet/shower area. This meant that towels had to be put on the floor when showering to ensure the toilet area stayed dry. Although quite different, it is not something to deter future bookings.

Room, bed and breakfast were all good. The accommodation block is separated from the "club" but a short walk. The club is like a typical Australian RSA/league club with many facilities. The WW2 memorabilia was interesting reflecting the commitment local men made to the war. Additionally the grounds have 2 tanks, several antiaircraft guns and a Dakota plane on display - an interesting place. The swimming pool was pleasant and in a good location near the rooms.

Room cost for one in a standard room was high for the provincial location but its a popular destination.

Greeted by a very friendly staff member. Precise instructions on how to get to my room. A very clean spacious room. A very comfortable bed and overall a well equipped space. Full access to Club Mulwala and an excellent breakfast included in the package.

A constant noise from a vent in the bathroom (air-conditioning?). Even with the bathroom door closed the noise was evident. Apart from this, I had a very enjoyable stay.

Always an excellent stopover on the river when travelling. Very good rooms and views onto the lake. bathroom excellent. A short walk across the carpark to the club for dinner. Excellent choice of food, quick service despite being very busy. Have stayed here a few times now and recommend as a place to stay.

Dining area currently getting renovation work done. Just made the seating area a bit smaller. Will be finished very soon, so no worries.

Check in and check out of the resort was very quick and efficient. The team at reception were very friendly and welcoming. The team at the resort restaurants were excellent. The room was well prepared and very clean and well stocked. Very comfortable for our stay.

We had to go to reception to ask for some room service items that were not replenished the following day, nothing major these things happen!! Would it be possible to have breakfast room service options available?

Everything was great, we were attending Mulwala along with many others to attend a 70th birthday party, but we knew nearly all the other guests were staying at other motels in Mulwala and Yarrawonga which we actually visited several of them and found they were sub standard compared to our accommodation and they were paying roughly the same money per night without breakfast being included and they were not happy about it at all.

Insect control needed badly at night, although we didn’t leave any windows open during the day, when we got back that evening there were absolutely thousands of what looked like flying ants at the entrance from the car park with quite a lot getting in through the door and into our room which although was upstairs it was still one of the closest rooms. I killed about thirty of them and worried they might crawl into the bed, but fortunately they didn’t and the next morning there was none to be seen anywhere.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and I was very impressed by the professional friendliness of the staff. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean and spacious, also loved the guest soap lux scent, better than most I have come across. The scenic view of the lake from my window, made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and elegant place to stay, along with great dining options at the club.

The breakfast was okay, but it could have been better with a little more variety and freshness.

Our room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable . The meals at Club mulwala were absolutely beautiful, and staff members were welcoming, kind, and friendly. Also, it's a no smoking zone, so if you're a smoker, you need to smoke upstairs away from the motel in the carpark area or out the back!

The beds are like sleeping on clouds and the view over the lake was absolutely stunning from our upstairs veranda. The room was large and modern with plenty of space and seating

The room description says there is a corner spa, but apparently they were all removed a few years ago. The included breakfast was pretty average, and if you can't eat eggs there are not a lot of options
