The staff was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and we appreciated everything they served and the way we were treated. The downside was the $250 charge for our room. I’m sure you don’t have anything to do with this but Theo I booked Asheville about a half hour before I booked this one for $110, thinking I could cancel if necessary. Realizing we would not be able to get that far, I booked this room. When I tried to cancel, I told the Asheville room was non-refundable. I was very disappointed as now I was paying $360 for a one night stay.

The staff was amazing. The facilities were very clean. The breakfast was amazing and well worth it. We are on the third floor. The morning sunrise was beautiful.

The only issue I had was the first night a bunch of teenagers were underage drinking there was an adult that kept bringing them alcohol through the pool door I did report it to the front desk. And a pool was out of towels for two nights. Also when I checked in there were only two towels when there were 3 of us.

Everything was great although the poolside restroom was really nasty. The noise level at night is on the bad side. Slamming doors.

Dirty poolside restroom, slamming doors at night. The AC thermostat can’t be correct. The room was warm as I keep my AC at home set to 71 and I need a blanket, the room was too hot. Couldn’t sleep due to sweating all night. And the fan on the unit will not stay on.

Location

I had there was 4 people staying but they only gave us 4 towels but we made it work. It looked like there was mold in the corner of the shower. Just minor things that didn’t affect our stay.

Second time in 2 weeks. Came back for the meticulously clean hot tub and pool. The pool area is well kept, up to date, clean.. The hotel itself is clean, well run, and up to date. Hot Breakfast items were nice. Plenty of options for anyone. Cold milk and juices taps. Cereal. Waffles, oatmeal with toppings for both. Very impressed.

The breakfast was amazing. I liked that there was something different every morning I went to breakfast. It was always hot and stocked. The staff was very nice. The location was excellent. Did not have to go far to find amenities.

I couldn't tell you what I didn't like because wherever I went I liked. So not to much to report on the dislikes from the visit I had. Just one thing I had a concern was the Business Corner was small and I don't like small areas but still loved it.

Convenient location, friendly staff

I stayed at this location 3-4 years ago and enjoyed it. I was surprised to see the amount of wear and tear this time. It was disappointing to see the changes. Breakfast was a disaster…unsupervised children were making a mess and handling the food. Staff were not very helpful. We ate elsewhere.

Wonderful location while visiting the NC Zoo. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a nice selection and was always stocked. The indoor swimming pool was fantastic to cool down after a long day. Would highly recommend.

The pool water was quite chilly. I had to visit the front desk to request pool towels on both days of my stay, as there were none available at the pool itself.

Super clean. Hot tub and pool were immaculately clean, taken care of, and up to date. Breakfast was better than expected. The lady running it was on top of it. Friendly front desk. Great location. Will stay here again. Wonderful job all around to all the staff.
