Gorgeous historical property that wasn’t expected in the neighborhood we drove through to get there. We stay in a guest room actually the Inn. They have four rooms upstairs. Stunning staircase leads up to the rooms (no elevator). The room was large and the bathroom almost a big as the room. Nicely decorated. Furniture very comfortable especially the king-size bed. The bathtub is large enough for most tall people to enjoy a good soak. Toiletries, robe and wet bar were appreciated Small restaurant on the first level has limited menu but excellent drink list. The included hot breakfast included and made for a great start to our day.

Restaurant. I was planning to eat there every dinner while i was stying there but i didnt like the menu plus I was always the only person there. I was nice to have complimentary glass of wine , but then you had to drive somewhere else for dinner so it was not convenient at all. I only had one salad there the first night but then ended up eating out.

Breakfast was good, location was good. I love that it was so different from your normal hotel stay. Nice and quiet and a very easy check in service. Bed was comfortable. Would prefer bigger pillows but that is just a personal preference. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would stay again if I were back in town.

This is a charming historic hotel with a small but cozy bar and restaurant. Everything was great - efficient check-in, our room, overall cleanliness, charm throughout, and super friendly staff. I highly recommend.

Personally, I'm not a fan of breakfast buffets. I understand they are efficient, but the food is never quite what it could be if made to order.

Breakfast was delicious. Complementary drinks in the evening was really nice. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They accommodated my family and was really great when an over booking issue was identified. Beds where clean an comfortable.

The blinds in the room does allow light from the street into the room. The room can do with some curtains. Road noise in the evening was not pleasant, but will not cause me to not stay there again.

The desk staff were exemplary! And the actual cleanliness of the bathroom, esp the tub, was wonderful. I feel like most hotels don’t have that great attention to detail. It was great to have the beautiful big tub and actually feel comfortable using it. I normally won’t take tub baths in a hotel but this was unique.

No decafe coffee offered at breakfast. The scrambled eggs and sausage/bacon were well prepared, but overall not different from lesser hotels breakfasts. I think we were expecting French toast or something a bit more elevated.

Visiting my son at HPU so the location was perfect

The only issue was that we were leaving the room on Saturday and housekeeping asked if we needed new towels and we said No as we were only staying for the weekend- we were surprised that they did not go into the room at all after that to at least make the bed

All the modern amenities in a hotel with character! The chef is excellent. My beef tenderloin was truly special. I’ve been to many good steak restaurants and don’t say this lightly. Staff was excellent!

We stayed in the suite upstairs and it was [erfect as other family was in town and we could gather inthe living room. The staff was excellent and we were very happy with our stay there
