The staff was amazing. I only spoke with the HR guy in passing and he was amazing. That's the type of guy I would love to work for. He was so inviting and so nice. He knew where my room was because of a problem that was quickly solved and he apologized on the company's behalf, even though he had just heard about it. That's the type of HR staff that I would love to work for or merely just be around. Great vibes. Good job entire staff!

The breakfast🫣 Don't get me wrong it was good but needs more options. Let me be clear, it just needs a wider variety for the type of stay and service rendered. The breakfast didn't match. Breakfast must come up to par with that great customer service(Grade A/First Class)I honestly believe it will be better after renovations. Even the maintenance guy was super 😎. He explained everything thoroughly. Great crew overall. Keep this crew together and happy so that this organization can thrive. Awesome job!!!

Clean, comfortable space. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Honestly, I didn’t have any issues with the property. However, while the hotel was advertised as pet-friendly, the pet fee was much higher than anything I’ve paid elsewhere ($75 vs. $25 or $30). I know these policies exist to protect the hotel, but it makes more sense to charge a deposit or bill for damage after it actually occurs. Our dog has three legs and we keep him confined to a small area to prevent him from additional injuries. Obviously, hotel staff/management can’t know this, but it still feels like we’re being punished for others’ negligence.

Everything about the property...price, staff, location, room, cleanliness, etc. was excellent.

Only complaint was the so-so breakfast offerings. No warm food; just muffins, white bread to make toast, and 3 kinds of cereal...Raisin Bran (I don't like raisins), Fruit Loops (I don't like them), and Frosted Flakes (I ate a bowl, yet there were no healthy options like Special K or even Corn Flakes.) No scrambled eggs, bacon, etc.

I've never stayed at a Sonesta Property before and was pleasantly surprised with just about everything! The location was close to the airport which made it easy to catch an early morning flight. The cleanliness and comfort was exceptional.

Performance wise, nothing. First impression when you walk in a see the low ceiling area near the registration area, it gives the impression of a much cheaper, less favorable/desirable location. In fact, initially it made me question my decision. However, once I got past that initial reaction, the rest was fine.

Staff was kind, amiable. The big dude on duty that night really helped me park in middle of night. Desk Clerk nice lady from The Islands helped me too, with the confusion about pricing…they arent corporate and polished, but its all good! i enjoyed. Greg Slay Bham, AL Colonade location

Not really. beed big big money for big system or progra. Not well-organized. some staff seemed confused.(but maybe they are new emp)

Sheila at check in was absolutely wonderful. We stayed because I had surgery early the next morning and I was nervous. Sheila was so kind and gave me some words to calm my spirits. The bed was extremely comfortable, and our room was very spacious. The shower was so nice. It was a great stay.

Everything was wonderful. Will stay again when needing to be down in the area.

The location is excellent. Easy access to downtown and route 280.

It was under renovation and that wasn’t in the announcement when we reserved the room. The work did stop around 5:00 PM, but was really loud until then. The odd numbered rooms are on the I-459 side and are loud, but the staff moved us to the even side and the room was very quiet.

All of the staff at the front desk was helpful and pleasant.

There was a language barrier with housekeeping and although I’d asked for the room to be cleaned (really just needed the trash removed and more clean towels), that didn’t happen. I eventually went to find housekeeping and basically nodded and smiled while retrieving my own towels because I wasn’t understood by anyone in the room.

It was neat, clean and pretty close to the hot spots on central Alabama, like Hwy 280 and Hoover. The plaza right down the street on Colonnade Pkwy has a LOT there to get involved with, like eating or a little shopping. The closest outlet to the hotel is only 2 minutes away, being The Summit and only 15 minutes away from Outlets of Grand River. It's a good place to stay for sure!

The WiFi was wonky as heck; you can connect to it fairly easily but actually getting to the Sonesta page to accept the terms to get access was just a hassle. Your phone will register the browse as "unsafe" and will try to keep you from going to the terms agreement page. So, getting on the WiFi was a hassle and also, no microwave in the room - what's that about??

The staff was very friendly and our room had a small balcony for us to sit out on.

Our first room had a malfunctioning lock. Upon returning to our room after a late night out, the lock would not open at all. The staff member could not get it open and had to give us a different room for the night...without our belongings. Thankfully, someone came early the next morning and we were able to stay in the new room since the old room's lock was still malfunctioning.
