Hotel is located close to the airport, there is a bus station next to it and you can get from and to the airport by public transport (H-6, you can pay by card right on the bus). We had to stay overnight for a layover, it is a good quality/price combination if you need to sleep in between your flights. Hotel also serves breakfast, and there is a complementary water in the fridge. There are also some groceries shops and small restaurants if you want to eat something outside. Be ready it is loud area as it is next to the airport.

Lack of the electrical kettle in the room.

A breakfast was poor and it looks so strange. I was not sure if I have a real coffee, no bakery, only bread. They put cucumbers- 2 pieces, one piece of tomato and a little piece of cheese . Also, I Oder a dinner to a room. When they bring the food to my room it did not look like at a picture. The meet was fat and not impossible to chew, very spicy and tno salad dressing, I called the reception twice because they didn’t bring salt and pepper and napkins, the beer was warm. I paid 30$

The room was comfortable, though on the small size. We booked a "family room" with a double and a twin bed as that was what was available at the time of our booking. The beds were fine, there was a big desk area with chair, and there was a minibar fridge with water in it. The bathroom was nice with a good-sized shower. The staff was friendly, and they arranged for a to-go breakfast for us since we had to check out at 5:30am. There was an nice elevator in the property. For those with a vehicle, street parking is offered. There are restaurants and markets within walking distance. For US travelers booking this property, be aware that this is not what one might typically think of as an "airport hotel". It is quite a distance from the airport - about 20 minutes' drive - and located in the nearby city of Arnavutköy rather than next to the airport. It ended up being fine for us as we had a rental car, but for someone without transport you'll need to pay for a transfer. Not a show-stopper, just something to be aware of.

The room needs to be refreshed. The was some plaster hanging in the corner of the ceiling and many dings in the wall. The room also had a strange configuration with a huge support column in the middle of it, which made getting around and navigating the luggage a bit of a challenge. The shower hadn't been thoroughly cleaned as hair came floating off the drain cover when the water was turned on. The hotel lobby was undergoing some required construction, apparently, so I hope the refresh the lobby during this process. (Looked a bit tired.)

+ We (1 adult, 2 kids) stayed for 8 hours at the hotel between our flights. Everything at the hotel was to our liking, no complaints: Clean, comfy, quiet. Airplane noise did not bother us at all. + Staff was very polite and helpful (I asked to freeze an ice pack as I needed it to transfer medicine, and to call a yellow (cheaper type) taxi cab). + Comment on the taxi fares: The hotel is close enough to the airport. We took a yellow taxi (actually, orange) and paid 360 Turkish liras from airport to the hotel. We paid 500 Turkish liras back to the airport (higher price for the night time).

- Not much of a complaint from our side, but a comment to inform other hotel guests: There is no kettle or microwave in the room, just the fridge. - Also, the blankets were too thin. I wanted something a bit warmer, and I could have asked for another blanket, but was too tired to do so. It turned out to be ok: The kids and I had a good sleep.

Modest small hotel very close to the airport with a very friendly staff and decent pre-plated breakfast. Dinner and lunch can be ordered in the downstairs lobby cafe and is delicious. Bed was comfortable. Linens are clean. Room is basic but clean. Airport shuttle costs more than the hotel itself, but the driver was punctual and super friendly.

Shower head on a flex hose was broken, but the overhead one worked fine. Very strong air-freshener smell in the entire place. Looks like a seedy neighborhood, so I did not venture outside, but food is available in the inside cafe.

I had a great stay at this hotel near Istanbul Airport. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my experience stress-free and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, with a newly renovated bathroom that added a fresh, modern touch. The location was perfect for a layover or early flight, and I would definitely stay here again whenever I have a flight from Istanbul Airport. I highly recommend it to travellers looking for convenience and comfort!

Items meant to be served hot, like fries and sausages, were cold. It would have been better if they had kept these items warm or not served them.

The location was excellent. The room was spacious. The staff were courteous, helpful, and very professional. The breakfast was not bad at all. All in all, the best of the hotels that I have stayed in in Arnavutköy. Excellent as a transit hotel.

The aircon was not working but the weather was good so there wasn't much need. The bathroom door was a bit dodgy but could be closed ok. It is in a busy area so noisy, but the windows were very good in reducing noise to a great extent.

Amazing Staff. Good location for staying near to the airport, especially arriving in Istanbul on a late-evening flight. Decent size hotel.... not the typical franchise big-chain Hotel groups that have a ton of non-impactful decorations.... at this hotel, it's a quick in & out but overall value. Non-fussy, cool people.... the food in the lounge was v good. Beds are well made. Bathrooms are shiny. Curtains in our 1st floor room are classy. Like everything about this hotel. In fact, we will re-book it for the night-stay before our early morning flight in 5 days.

There is not a single thing that we didn't like.

We didn't have breakfast. We left the hotel at 3 a.m.

We didn't appreciate the fact that they were promoting the airport shuttle at 50 euros return. We took a taxi each way for 7 euros each way!!!!! Too much difference!!!!

Booked this hotel as a Layover hotel to catch our early morning (6am) flight out of IST. Great Value for Money, the room was spacious and clean. Hotel transfer was also seamless and useful. Although not in the heart of IST, it was a great experience staying at AXU because it was located near local restaurants where we managed to enjoy an authentic Turkish Cuisine meal for our dinner during our short stay there.
