The location was good, with a nice sea view. The room was comfortable, although a little bit dated looking in places. The room was clean. The Japanese breakfast was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful in arranging the 'takuhaibin' luggage delivery service from this hotel to another location.

I didn't like that the hotel lobby was a building site, and I actually walked past before I realized where the hotel was. Obviously this is a temporary situation. The reception had been relocated onto a high up floor which was a little inconvenient, but worked ok.

Great location, in the heart of Onomichi! Short walking distance to convenience stores, ramen restaurants and the famous Onomichi walking/shopping mall. The staff were very kind and helpful, providing maps and places to rent bikes for the Shimanami Kaido. The room was cosy, had Japanese TV and the beds were clean and comfortable. I also enjoyed the humidifier/air purifier. Great place to stay for people wanting to go cycling or try the famous Onomichi Ramen!

The airconditioner had mould in the vent, which was alarming. So beware those who need to use the aircon. When using the shower, the shower curtain blocks off the light, so it's pretty dark when showering. Underneath the bed were left over slippers and lots of dust. The peep hole has no lid, so a ray of light is always shining through from the outside.

It was in a great location, easy access to the station and shops. Rooms were small, but sufficient. The in house restaurant was also very convenient with good food at reasonable prices.

It took a long time to check in, staff seemed unsure of the procedures.

Water view rooms.. nice and big, for Japan. Opening window. Japanese breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a bit of a stroll (15 to 20 minutes) from the station. However, a pleasant walk along the water. Close to the ropeway.

I don't understand the bad reviews about the hotel, we were family of 5, had a big Japanese room, which was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was also clean, the station is 15min on foot along the sea. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay before cycling the Shimanami Kaido, Staff at the front desk were very helpful with organising luggage forwarding to our next hotel.

The hotel provides all the amenities you need. It is very clean, and the staff is courteous. A great choice when staying in Onomichi!

Great hotel, very clean, rooms were spacious, staff super friedly and helpful, and we had a beautiful view on the sea from our room.

Great location, just facing the sea and in walkable distance from the JR station.

First floor is under renovation so hotel entrance is a bit cluttered at the moment.
