The two roaches and the spire hanging from the ceiling as we walked into the room one was in the sink and the spider was hanging from the ceiling and the next morning, a roach climbing around on top of the microwave stand yes I reported it and yes, I know people bring them in all the time. I’m sure but they should die as soon as they touch the surface.

Convenient to downtown, quiet, and comfortable.

There was one person at check-in. In addition to checking in guests, answering questions, directing customers to locations in town, etc., she was a very busy person and thus a long line of new guests formed. Everyone got a room, but I would have expected a manager or other employee to assist.

Upon arriving earlier than expected, Tiguana greeted me at the sign in desk. She was very professional, super sweet and got me signed right in. The design of the atrium was modern with a woodsy theme. It was very welcoming. Our room was easy to locate and the staff that I met along the way were very professional, genuinely nice, and accommodating. The room was a little smaller than I had imagined but was mostly clean and inviting. The bathroom was clean, modern, and very well lit. See below for the only cleanliness issues that I encountered.

The beds, floor and bathroom were clean without any strong odors. However, the desk, TV stand and coffee pot area were dusty with multiple visible fingerprints on the television screen and a large chromed desk lamp. This area obviously had been neglected and needed a deep cleaning.

The room was clean

Not enough parking. The underground parking lot was atrocious, and look like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The underground parking lines were faded. There were chairs that look like it came from a lunchroom sitting outside randomly. Justin feel safe parking in my car downstairs.

The front desk associates, the manager, the food and the service and just the total hospitality was outstanding.

I didn’t like that the rooms were super outdated and in need of remodeling, window treatments outdated and not well put together and were coming apart. The mattresses didn’t fit the bed and we kept banging our legs on the edges of the bed. Coming into the building and in the common areas were beautiful. This hotel would be excellent if the rooms were all updated and window treatments were changed out.

The breakfast was very good, but perhaps a bit more expensive than it needed to be. The burgers we ordered from the bar one evening (too tired to go out again) were wonderful! The staff members in both areas were pleasant and efficient! The location of this hotel is excellent. It was easy for us to walk to almost every site we wished to visit! This is a city rich with important history.

I don't remember noticing that we would be charged for parking. This hotel is not inexpensive; the extra $14.00 a night to park in the lot was a charge were unhappy to see on our receipt. I will take blame for being surprised by this. I made reservations on my phone and deleted them once we checked in, so I couldn't look to see if that was a cost that had been listed. Also, I requested a paperless receipt and didn't look at it until we had left the city.

Location, parking, clean hotel, comfortable bed. Ate in the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast both were lovely and staff attentive.

Extremely powerful shower, the bathroom floor was swimming in water & that was with the shower curtain fully closed.

Ollie and McGowan at reception were phenomenal. They were such a huge help to us and did an amazing job.

The shower in the room didn't divert all the water to the shower head and the exercise room didn't have water.

The front desk staff was super nice and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I regret not getting the 2 gentleman’s names that checked us in but they were very professional and knowledgeable.

Zero complaints.

We really enjoyed the friendly staff, Janice and Tonya at the front desk, Blake in the bar area, the chefs on duty and the restaurant staff. They were accommodating and made us feel at home away from home. Also, we did enjoy the delicious cookies.

The cleanliness of the hotel was not excellent. Our room was extremely dusty. Also, the vent in the air conditioner needed to be replaced as the air was musty/stale. If there is a shortage of cleaning staffers, I would suggest you hire a cleaning company to cover such essential duties.
