The hotel is just perfect for a week of stay at the beach. The location is exactly what you need, close to the beach, and in the center of all possible events that can happen in Pescara. There are lots of nice restaurants very close, and also a lot of shops. The train station is 10 mins away, should you want to go on a trip to other cities. The airport is v close, 25 Euros for a taxi or much cheaper by bus. The beach is very nice with fine sand and slowly deepens while entering in the water. If you want to skip the payment for umbrellas, you can also go directly in front of hotel with your own sheet and umbrella, however we preferred to pay every day. Some say in the reviews that the hotel rooms are very old and smelly, we were concerned about it and even wanted to replace the reservation with another hotel, but took the risk and we did not feel sorry. It was not the case for us. Air conditioning works, all are fine. The breakfast is fine, not very good, but you can find something to eat for every taste. Also the view from the last floor is very nice, where the breakfast is held. I don't know about the rooms facing the sea, maybe they are very hot throughout the day. We had a room with no sea view, but could be better because it was shadowed all day and probably better than the other rooms as cooler, but not sure.

The beach we went to had an agreement with the hotel, and we used that to rent umbrellas every day. The guy there taking care of the beach was very rude and every day was expecting money from us, even though we payed like 40 euros per day for 3 chairs and an umbrella. He was obviously saving the good spots for his preferred people or for the ones that ware paying him money. This is unacceptable and should be addressed with the beach management, bad experience for us. The room can be improved : bigger TV set, better pillows.

I stayed 2 WEEKS, spent most of my day in my room because of the heat and went out only at night....my room was facing the Sea....I had the world at my feet, missed nothing......in my case the hotel has sentimental value as my dad worked the front desk for 25 years💖

My room was 510 just below the restaurant and when they moved tables around in the morning it got a bit noisy.........the entrance of the hotel was not air conditioned and open doors, got a bit hot with 40° outside.........the hallways carpets needs a replacement.....and The Restaurant not consistent with quality of food, it is independent from the Hotel and CANNOT be charged to your room‼️‼️ .

I am sure this hotel used to be more glorious. Our stay was excellent, with everything we needed around us. The beach is across the street, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, literally everything is within walking distance around the hotel. Our bed was comfortable (a bit harder than the one at home, but we had good quality sleep). Average size room, efficient AC, environment-friendly shower pressure :) We didn’t use the minibar, but the prices were decent. Room cleaning/towel changing done daily. Very kind and helpful staff. We booked the cheapest room, it had inner yard view, but it may have been for the better, to avoid street noise. Carpeted floors and the furniture are somewhat dated, but in our room they were good quality and quite practical.

No biggie for us, but the internet provided was very unstable.

We were on our 25th wedding anniversary. Downtown was important to us as we wanted to see Pescara and the beach as tourists. It did not disappoint.

Parking was a nightmare. We arrived on Friday afternoon and found it impossible to park close to the hotel so that we could remove our luggage from the car and check in. We spent a long time driving around to try and find somewhere close enough to park so that we could check into the hotel.

Loved the location close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The room had a great view of the beach and Corso. Being summertime, we were entertained with the Summer Festival, concert festival with lots of vibe and excitement around.

We had to leave too soon......., would have loved to have stayed longer, because we enjoyed the long beach walks/swims and having the hotel close by.

We liked the staff and the location

The hotel needs so updating. The bathrooms are very old and not well maintained, wall have some chunks and paint missing there is black around the tub and the showers, the hairdryers were white once and the are now yellow and old. The shower was so small it was impossible to close the shower door. The pink carpet on the walls needs to go as well as the floor carpet it look old and dirty

The hotel is beautiful and charming. The staff are professional, warm, friendly and helpful. The location is ideal: across the street from the beach and a short, pleasant walk to a vibrant restaurant/bar scene. The room was clean, lovely, spacious and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant was excellent for a delicious breakfast. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you!

We were doing a quick stopover in Pescara and only stayed one night but I'd love to return and stay longer. The hotel is gorgeous - a true Grande Dame of elegance plus the staff was wonderful. And the location can't be beat. It's walking distance from the bus terminal (we arrived by flixbus) and waterfront with a lovely view plus cafes and shopping are steps away. We thought the hotel was terrific!

Perfect location and superb view on the Adriatic sea made this stay a real pleasure. Very good breakfast, and friendly smiling personnel were essential to help me start my day in an excellent mood over the whole week. Cool air conditioning helped relax after the hot day as well.

One thing problematic was a bit broken and quite old equipment in the bathroom. They need redecoration. Also, on TV there are apparently no English-speaking channels, even no BBC News.

The lady at the breakfast room advertising in front of other guests that we need to pay for breakfast and we had already informed reception that we would but she insisted 2 times in front of other guests which is very impolite. Also the eggs were finished and I politely informed her cause another guest was shy,to,ask and this server came with a plate of eggs at my table and when I told her its not for me she made a loud sound of irritation and the other guests looking at her at us. If she is racist cause my husband is dark I'm really sorry for her but her actions of trying to,humiliate a guest,should be reprimanded.
