Ravesi is an old family home which has been turned into a hotel and it very much feels like you are welcomed into the family home. It is absolutely charming, in the most gorgeous grounds in a stunning location. Captivating views of Mt Stromboli over the infinity pool and a range of locations throughout the gardens to relax with a coffee and drink. Martina was so welcoming and helpful as were most of the staff.

Breakfast was amazing but we sometimes felt the servings were a little on the small size And getting a drink from the barman in the evening sometimes felt like an imposition which was completely out of step with the rest of the most welcoming and friendly hospitality.

I loveeed this place. It was kind of magical. Since it is locating in the middle of the island everywhere was reachable and reception helped me a lot with taxi arrangements. I really recommend this place not just because the place itself was amazing but everyone who are working here are very kind, helpful and genuine. They even prepared a breakfast bag and left it the night before since i was leaving early in the morning. Thank you everyone especially Nadia😊 hope to stay there again.

Above all the service provided by the staff is outstanding. The infinity pool and terrace with views of Panarea and Stromboli in the distance (after dark you can actually see Stromboli erupting from the terrace) is the standout feature of the hotel. The gardens are also beautiful. The bar is staffed by an excellent barman with a great selection of cocktails available. The beds are also especially comfy. The high review scores really are deserved.

While the breakfast selection is very good, I would personally prefer a wider selection of cooked items (only scrambled eggs are available). That said, the breakfast is inexpensive compared to other hotels we stayed at in Sicily and cooked breakfast isn't really a 'thing' in Italy in quite the same way.

This was one of our favorite hotels...ever. We were upgraded to a suite, but I suspect that every room here is superb. Ours had a small living area and a spacious bedroom. But the main reason to come to Ravesi is the sea. Our room had a large terrace with comfortable furniture and an incredible view over the Tyrrhenian Sea to Panarea and Stromboli. The pool is remarkable, an infinity pool with an ever broader view over the ocean. The hotel has lush gardens that spill far down the hillside toward the water and a beautiful terrace for aperitifs or a light lunch. The food is also excellent. Hard to imagine a better stay on an island in Europe.

Everything was beyond perfection during our 6 night stay in this charming and chic family-run hotel in the beautiful town of Malfa. We especially enjoyed our daily aperitivo by the infinity pool overlooking Stromboli and Panarea, strolling around the wonderful garden where you'll find the elegant and friendly Signora Ravesi gardening and making sure everything is perfect, and chatting to the kind and warm hotel staff who were always so accommodating and happy to make their personalised recommendations for us. We stayed in the lovely Casa Clementina which is around 3-4 mins walk from the main hotel building which had a super well-equipped kitchen and a cute little terrace set back away from the path which will take you down to the main beach in Malfa.

The fact that we didn't get to stay there for longer and didn't get a chance to try the Basilichino cocktail!

We wished we stayed here 7 nights instead of 3. Everything about this hotel was incredible. A delicious breakfast, excellent aperitivo, stunning views from the pool, and so many nice, quiet places to rest and relax throughout the property. Salina and Hotel Ravesi were the absolute highlight of our honeymoon in Sicily. We would definitely recommend renting an e-bike from this hotel to explore the island. Staff went above and beyond.

The hotel is beautiful in all aspects. The rooms are authentically decorated, beautifully comfortable and immaculately clean. The pool area has an ambience of peace and tranquility as the gardens are so romantically created and maintained. Most of all the staff that run the hotel create a warm and family like atmosphere. At no time was anything too much to assist and support you with. This hotel should be rated five stars given the superior level of service. The food is delightful. Every time you turn around the corner, they have made the appearance of this hotel so charming. The ability to retain the original aspects of the architecture of the hotels history is a credit to them and makes this hotel quite unique to the island of Salina. It is located close to the village and allows you to walk to the local restaurants which are also lovely and gave wonderful local produce. They have a bar that you can sit in the garden and look out to the sea and the other Aeolian islands. This hotel is just heaven ..

Nothing …perfection in all aspects.

Every aspect of this property has been thought through. The attention to detail was exceptional and the staff and owners are wonderful. The views and rooms are amazing and the family have clearly thought of everything to make the experience for people staying amazing. If you visit please try the marmalade made by the owner at the start of every season, it’s amazing and like nothing you’ve ever tasted before. We will be going back in September !

We had such a wonderful time at Hotel Ravesi. The hotel is a peaceful oasis in the centre of Malfa. There are gardens, a rooftop terrace and a heated infinity pool and all with the most incredible view out to sea and of the neighbouring islands Stromboli and Panarea. Our room, which was recently refurbished, was beautiful and serene. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help us have the perfect stay, helping us organise activities and giving us advise on what to do on the island. Just amazing! We will be back for sure!

This property has been developed progressively to deliver a really quite exceptional guest experience. The infinity edge pool is gorgeous, the rooms are stylish and there’s a range of guest amenities that would befit a genuine 5-star hotel. What makes it a 10 out of 10 though is the family care and service aspects of the business…. Nothing is too much trouble to organise, assist or deliver for its guests. Very impressive!
