We received a very warm and friendly welcome from the lady (manager?) at the front desk when we arrived. She was very helpful providing us with extra 2 pillows and in sorting out an issue we had with the tv. The "1970s" motel has character and was clean and comfortable. It is located within walking distance of a number of bar and restaurants. It has a communal table and chairs area in the corner on the 2nd floor. The room rate was very good value and included a voucher for breakfast at the adjacent cafe which, on the morning of our visit (Saturday in late May), was very busy with regular customers, as well as some staying at the motel. It was freshly cooked and good quality food.

The bath towels were rather small for someone who is 6ft and 14 stone.

We enjoyed this hotel! It was an affordable for what we saw in Alamosa. The lady who checked us in was very nice and the overall vibes fit our preferences. Breakfast was nice being able to order from a list of options at the neighboring restaurant as part of the cost of staying there. It worked well for us as a place to stay the night before we visited Great Sand Dunes National Park.

We would have appreciated more pillows. It didn’t seem like the heat worked super well for us, but then again, it’s hard to say for sure because the power was out when we woke up.

The location was perfect. It was right in downtown Alamosa and we walked several blocks, windows shopping. Breakfast was served in the restaurant next door, free of charge, with about 5 items to choose from. For example, we could have pancakes with eggs and bacon, or short stack of pancakes etc. All freshly made.

The restaurant where the free breakfast was served did not open until 7:00am on Monday and we needed to leave earlier. The staff put up the sign in the windows at 7 after we had wanted for 45 minutes. Very upsetting.

Breakfast was good and plentiful . The Inn was easy to locate . The air conditioner worked real good . Local restaurants were easily accessible .

We tried for a while to get the television to work . I'm pretty sure the cable box was bad . We were tired from our drive so did not worry about it . There was no coffee maker in the room , I don't think it was offered and I did not notice when reserving the room . The water pressure seemed to be fine until we turned on the shower . It either had a restrictor in the shower head or it may have been plugged .

Loved it. Very standard room/bathroom situation. My friend and I really like the upstairs balcony- very nice place to sit during sunset. The front desk was awesome as they let me take an interview at the inn that was scheduled for before my check-in time. Finally, the breakfast was amazing. Will definitely recommend in the future! Good location for Sand Dunes as well!

The staff was super friendly and the breakfast is a hot breakfast at the cafe next door.. you can have eggs, potatoes and toast or a veggie omelette or oatmeal. The Thai restaurant a block away and was tasty. We got the pad se ew, tom yum soup and wonton soup and it was flavorful. Our room was upstairs with a fridge and microwave and very clean! Definitely would be back!

Breakfast was very good--5 choices from a menu. WiFi was good. Room was clean and very complete with table, desk, fridge, microwave etc.

Room had a bit of a musty smell, but it seemed very clean, so we don't know what the cause of the smell was. We didn't notice it after a few minutes. No King Size bed option.

The room was very clean but, nothing fancy for sure. I would definitely go back to this hotel. It was a great location with eateries and a park to stroll around close by. The breakfast they offered was great, Hot and fresh! We went to the Alligator park a short distance away and really enjoyed our visit. Alamosa is beautiful this time of year.

The front desk staff were super polite and the room was very clean. Most hotel rooms I stay in that are carpeted, the carpet usually feels pretty disgusting and I keep my socks on for that reason, but this room it actually felt very clean and I felt comfortable walking around barefoot. You can tell they really care about keeping their inn very comfortable for their guests. Also, it's really close to downtown and a quick walk to restaurants and bars which was really nice not having to find a parking space. I was worried that the room wouldn't get cooled down enough because of where the AC unit is located in the room, but I actually got too cold at one point and had to increase the temperature. It's very comfortable and convenient and I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice and quiet motel in Alamosa, on walking distance to several restaurants (incl. on premises) and pubs (incl. a good brewery) and the historic Rio Grande Scenic Railroad. The lady at check-in was friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfy. Breakfast is served in the on-site restaurant with a good variety of tasty options. A nice stopover on our way to the Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Nothing.
