Clean rooms, nice spa area, parking, wonderful breakfast (should include more local cheeses instead of cheddar...)

The facilities need renovation (spa area and bathroom in the room) Staff should refill the body wash in the spa area more often They have a strange welcome drink policy; you get a beer, cocktail or wine, but if you want a coffee or tea you need to pay 50% - weird...

The hotel is truly beautiful! The staff is very professional, wellness area is excellent, food also as well as the bar. The area around the hotel is really nice. We'll definetly come back.

Some guests were very rude, they allowed the small kids with around 6 & 8 years in the sauna, going in and out which has been quite uncomfortable. The some bath is only from 13 years onwards, the kids were there with their pool toys. On top the adult were very loud in the sole bath, even though it's a silent area. I found it a pitty that nobody intervent even though we complained to the staff and directly to them.

I loved the coziness, peacefulness, warm and professional hospitality approach. Whether you are traveling with family, friends or solo, like I did, you will find your home away from home here. I also want to highlight the intimacy in all parts of the hotel due to dimmed lighting and historic layout of the building. Moreover, in the spa area you can find your hideaway in many different relaxation rooms. The gastronomy is another great feature that you will enjoy and I highly recommend booking your stay half-board, also since there are not many great restaurants that I would prefer to visit in the city centre.

The only (and minor) thing that disappointed me was the coffee machine at the breakfast buffet. Coming from Prague I’m a little bit spoiled and used to different standards.

All sunbeds in SPA area were occupied and we couldn’t find a free spot. Dinner was not buffet, only limited menu and the system was quite confusing, something you could take yourself but main dishes were served by the waitresses. Also the outdoor pool was quite cold for winter.

Impeccably clean, great spa, super kind staff, especially Miroslav from the reception desk who couldn’t do more to make us feel at home. Comfortable and spacious rooms, great beds and bathrooms. The breakfast was extensive and delicious with an amazing choice, one of the very best we’ve ever had in a hotel. The spa area is very clean and with a lot of options. It felt a bit awkward for us to get used to this German style sauna dressing code but it actually wasn’t a big deal, just something new. All in all, if coming to this peaceful and stylish spa town, look no more - book the Falkensteiner.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Falkensteiner Marianske Lazne. That much, we will come back in October. Thank you, to all staff who makes this place memorable.

There was missing option of tap water for the lunch. Which is a small detail, we could buy the whole bottle, but I personally think, that choice was missing. Also, maybe better quality of duvets in our room?

The cuisine in the restaurant was outstanding. I enjoyed two lovely dinners. My room was okay and my bonus was a big balcony overlooking the quiet street along the hotel.

The spa facilities are a bit small for the guest capacity of the hotel in my opinion. In the mornings the spa was the best place to visit, while in the afternoon it tended to get really busy. This was perhaps also due to the weather which wasn't all that good.

I enjoyed being able to swim in the outdoor (heated) pool & use the Finnish sauna, the steam room & the cold showers. Victor was outstanding literally going the extra miles when the hotel shuttle taxi driver left me stranded. Victor gave me a lift to the station in his own car so I was able to catch my train to Nuremberg & ultimately London via Cologne & Brussels.

Some of the older residents were rather snooty. I was careful to observe the spa etiquette & be considerate at all times. I’m 50 but felt I was probably younger than the average age. The hotel residents are mostly German - I was the sole English speaker. I speak a bit of German & Czech which was useful. In hindsight I wished I had eaten out rather than the hotel restaurant - I might have found somewhere more convivial to a lone traveller.

I traveled with my family for a long weekend. We had paid half board. Breakfast and dinner were at a very good level. Above all, the breakfast met all the parameters of a 5* hotel. The dinners were very good, but a few details need to be fine-tuned, such as the availability of wines on the wine list and the quality of the food served (one ingredient was missing from my plate). We paid extra for drinks. The spa was beautiful and the temperature of the pools was optimal for long relaxation. The room was cozy and clean. It was possible to order an aroma pillow for free. At the same time, nothing wow. The staff was nice and helpful.

I would recommend renovating the reception. A chipped table top looks strange. Hotel parking is not available for all guests. It is possible to park for free about 300 m from the hotel.

Immaculately clean, super nicely decorated, looking very modern. A lot of spa facilities (fyi sauna is joint). Breakfast was exceptional, the bed large and comfy and very comfortable to sleep

I had a small terrace/balcony in the room, however the access to it was blocked and the “balcony” door could not be fully opened. Without air conditioning in 30C heat made the air n the room a little stuffy
