The location of this hotel is almost perfect. Hotel provided underground parking was extremely convenient. Room was clean, beds were very comfortable.Electric tea kettle was big plus. View from the window was very pleasant. Elevators made moving of our heavy luggage easy.

The internet speed was unusually disappointing. The receptionist was not able to answer why the speed of connection was about 1MB/s. For the hotel of this level this is unacceptable. Also there was a confusion about the hotel restaurant. The menu was advertised at the entrance, but the restaurant was closed.

Nice location on a relatively quiet avenue across from Campo Grande Park within a ten-minute walk from the old part of town. Beautiful fin-de-siecle building with most rooms facing the park. Good restaurant on premises. Convenient underground parking. Comfortable room with all expected conveniences. Reasonable price.

Underground parking is convenient but tight and not suitable for larger cars. Our medium SUV could barely fit into the garage gate and maneuvering inside was possible only because the garage was not full.

Location is great, close to both the city centre as well as the train station. Beautiful building and nice interior decoration. Very friendly staff, breakfast buffet had some vegan options. Easy luggage storage after we checked out. Very silent property, no noise from the street or inside the hotel! If you like peacocks and squirrels, don’t forget to visit the park straight in front of the hotel.

For a 4 star hotel and not the cheapest one at that, the mattress was poor, we could feel the springs in our backs. Room was extremely warm when we arrived, 23 degrees, couldn’t get the climate control to cool it down so just left a window open for the duration of our stay.

Central hotel, close to the station (and the hospital!) and the sights in the City. We were there over the Ascension Day holiday in mid-May, so it was very quiet and we ate in the bar for dinner rather than their dining room. Food was most acceptable but nothing to write home about. We ate in the hotel because it seemed everything was closed on the Sunday and Monday.

Public areas really lovely but our room at the back of the hotel was shabby and in need of redecoration.

The location is fantastic..An easy walk to the old city. The staff at the reception were very kind and helpful.

The rooms are a bit tired. Silicone repairs to light fittings, shower a bit old and stained (and very small because it's in the bath), but overall ok and comfortable.

I loved the older style building had some lovely antiques. Breakfast was quite good as well.

The room and corridor was in need of refurbishing. It was a little tired especially in the hallway in front of my room. Also the restaurant, bar out outside cafe was closed.

If planning to park in the hotel's garage be prepared to drive up a street with restricted access. Otherwise, park in the municipal underground car park and then walk a couple of hundred yards to the hotel. Parking is very reasonable.

Perfect location. Very safe & close walking distance to food, shopping and train station. Gorgeous rooms and delicious breakfast! And incredibly kind staff. Very clean hotel!

Fantastic location, nice receptionist, had a bit of old-school glamour for the price. A few decent restaurants and cafes a few metres away

No complaints, really (didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on food). I paid the lowest price so got no view but didn’t care - wasn’t in the room long enough to care
