The lake was beautiful from their dock, which was well maintained. My wife and I sat out on the dock for about an hour watching the boat traffic and petting the resident cats (one of who later came to visit our room). The facilities date back 60 - 70 years, but are in excellent condition. It is near US 192 and we were in a room facing the highway, but the traffic noise was no problem at all, didn't notice it! Beds were very comfortable and we both slept very well.

There was only one USB charging ports built into the rooms and I had to look for it. It was built into the cable TV box. This will not be an issue, if you bring your own! I forgot mine, and only had a cord from my car. So the phone could not be located next to my bed, as I prefer.

Very well maintained 1950's old Florida motel on a beautiful lake. Very quiet and safe. Lovely sunsets. When the staff saw my husband is in a wheelchair, they up graded our room to one with a larger shower-at no extra charge. Seems family run, and they are invested in high standards. I am leary of "vintage" or "retro", but this really is the best of "retro'!

I forgot to ask for the wifi password, and needed more coffee, but the office closed around 5 and opened past my need for coffee. We had a number to call, but someone would have had to take time away to help. A minor inconvenience, but one to be aware of when checking in.

I liked the location as I was attending a meeting in Harmony Fl. The hotel is on the lake which is very nice. The hotel was super clean with all the modern attributes of multi channel TV, internet, hot shower, microwave etc.

The hotel was dated in it was probably built in the 50; or 60s. While maintained in an outstanding manner, it showed its age by have curtains that did not block the light very well, noise abatement was not super, and it was very plain. I find it hrd to complain as it is what it is and while an older motel, the managment did a great job of bringing it up to date and keeping it clean. Rated against a modern Holiday Inn, well it was maybe a 5, rated against its peers it was a 10.

I did not eat at the location, but the area was very good. I arrived very late to check-in. However, the lady at the office was waiting for me, and that was very nice of her. I was traveling from New York, and I was very tired. I don't know what I would have done if she was not there because it was after 10 p.m., and driving to find another hotel would have been difficult.

Went on a 3 day fishing excursion with my son. Stayed for four nights and was very pleased. Rooms were simple and very clean. Beds were comfortable & air conditioning kept it nice & cool. It is located on a beautiful lake with gorgeous sunsets. Great place if your looking for a simple clean place with beautiful surroundings. Would definitely stay again!

love the lake. The staff is very friendly. It is quiet and feels safe.

Wish they had a free breakfast but they did have snacks available. The beds were comfortable but the fold out sofa was not.Rooms are rather small.

This motel is older but is very well maintained. It's right on Alligator Lake with a long pier and plenty of boat slips. They also have a covered pavilion with several picnic tables. The views are unbelievable and, if you're looking for a relaxing spot to just hang out, this is a great option!

It is an older property, so don't expect all the amenities you would get in an upscale hotel. It could really use some updating but, as I said, the owners really do take a lot of pride in the property and it shows. The grounds are meticulously maintained and at night all of the trees are wrapped in lights. A very nice touch. Also, there really aren't any options in the area for dining out, so you'll have a little bit of a drive to find something.

This is a vintage motel in a beautiful, peaceful location. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and comfortable. This is our 2nd stay, but won't be our last!

The location was a little far out, but was acceptable. Motel was rustic with a nice view of the lake. Quiet. Clean room. Helpful and friendly staff.

Would prefer a king bed. Had no hot water on last night. Water press was low.

Cafe was closed at the time I was there, But the lakefront was very relaxing with a nice water view

Light fixtures could be updated but overall was very comfortable
