The apartment was excellent, modern, spacious and well equipped, comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. Plenty of room for storage, lovely balcony and view. The aircon was efficient and quiet. Kitchenette was fit for purpose, liked the inside dining bench, essential in the heatwave. Very pretty village, no food shop but a nice pub and excellent bakery, well worth a visit. The local people are friendly too. Easy and plentiful parking, unexpectedly also a lift to take suitcases to all floors. We had a couple of epic thunderstorms whilst staying, amazing to watch from the well sheltered balcony as the storm rolled around the valley.

The lightshades over the dining bench are low and at 5'7" I banged my head on them frequently when I sat down or stood up. The village is rural, that does mean flies are around and about, would have liked to have seen an effort to keep them off the breakfast buffet - jam, meats, fruit etc were all uncovered and attracted insects.

A great place to stay, with and without kids. There is even a little playground behind the parking lot! A wonderful little town, in the middle of everything:) For a family of four the apartment was a bit small (because the sofa needs to be open for the kids to sleep in) and a washing machine could be a big plus but it was great value for money! Very nice staff and a great breakfast selections, including vegan options which made me especially happy 😊

well situated hotel in a nice condition combining traditions & modernity. The newly built spa center (with free access from 3pm to 7pm) is an amazing reward after a long hike. Hammam, sauna, indoor & outdoor resting areas.. Dining at the restaurant is qualitative & invigorating, a bit on the pricey side. Full continental breakfast, many options.

close to a busy road during the day (on the spa's terrace) so a bit noisy but at night it is quiet.

Fantastic and beautiful location! Nice view from our balcony. The appartement was big and clean, happy with the small kitchen, with enough utensils. The wellness area was clean and nice. Personnel were friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the fresh breakfast and were happy with lots of lactose free options.

Only minor downside was it being a bit noisy as we could hear the neighbors sometimes.

The place is beautiful, the flats are clean and tidy . Everything you need is in the flat. comfortable beds. Rooms are bigs . Nice breakfast. Good location

The only thing was that they don't supply any tea or coffee capsules. You can buy capsules, but in these level of property, you accept to have it in the rooms. The same is about Shampoo or lotion.

We stayed at the new apartments which were really comfortable next to a small river with a spectacular view of the Black Forest. Parking at the premises & very good breakfast. We were even given free cards for the local trains. Don't miss the chance to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant.

As this was a short notice 2 nights stay while taking our grandchildren to Steinwasenpark, the location was actually very convenient. Hotel itself is nice and a good value for money. Room was very spacious and nice. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. You can't order an extra egg dish until you take the scrambled eggs from the buffet. Dinner tasted nice, although the pricing is on the high end. The 'Kalbsteak' off the menu as a single dish was offered at more than 50 Euro ... that's crazy. Half board guests seemed to enjoy their options, but it also seems they compensate and try to make money with full paying dinner guests. I'd still recommend the hotel but would dine elsewhere, as we already did the second night.

The hotel was wonderful, full of history. The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and helpful. Always had a smile. Restaurant food / wines were excellent. Breakfast traditional & delicious. Thank you for making weary travellers very welcome.

Absolutely nothing.

The staff is very friendly, we truly felt welcome and immediately received tips on what to do in the neighbourhood. We liked the style of the hotel, its traditional German with character. In addition the hotel has a nice, charming restaurant with a good menu. For us, the fact that the hotel even had a spa area was truly a bonus. We enjoyed it a lot during our stay.

The room didn't have air-conditioning and we couldn't really leave the window open as there was a constant noise of water running next to our room.

Everything but what I liked the most were kitchen utensils…they all were so clean and shiny!

The only minus I could give to this property is its location which I found pretty remote. Also Oberried is a very small village with not so many eating and entertainment options.
