My stay at Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham in Opelika was absolutely wonderful! The entire facility was clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable—I slept like a dream. A huge plus was being able to crack the window in the room for fresh air, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Breakfast had a good variety, including eggs, sausage, instant oatmeal, dry cereal, waffles, bread, bagels, coffee, juice, and teas with all the necessary condiments. Also, I have to mention the amazing water pressure—it was astonishing! Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The only downside to my stay was the early housekeeping knocks. Despite requesting a late check-out for 11 AM instead of the standard 10 AM, housekeeping first knocked around 8:30–9 AM, announcing “housekeeping” with little wait time between knocks. When I finally answered, she was polite, and I informed her of my late check-out. However, she returned at 10:58 AM while we were gathering our belongings, and we departed the room at exactly 10:59 AM.

Room was exceptionally clean. Cute boutique feel. Breakfast was my favorite. The eggs, sausage and waffles really set me up for a good day. Staff were super attentive to our needs so no complaints. Room was quiet during sleeping hours which was super important to us. Occasionally you can hear a door slam shut, but nothing out of the norm for a hotel at this price.

Smokers beware coming back in from gazebo - when its cold - its very hard to get the key card in when its super cold, it like sticks or something. I had to walk around to the front one time. After a struggle got it to work the next couple of times though so not a problem just be ready for that.

I didn't interact with the staff much but they were friendly and professional. No complaints at all with them The room and the whole facility was clean, well kept and I had no issues with that at all. Microtel isn't a "resort", it's a reasonably priced motel for average kind of people who I count myself to be among. There were some working class guys there, which I also am, and other regular folks. Reasonably priced for reasonable accommodations. Breakfast was good. They had scrambled eggs and sausage and waffles and cereal, fruit, milk,yogurt... so fair fare for breakfast. They were a little late Saturday with the eggs and sausage which was a little inconvenient for the working guys (welders) which was when I met them .

The motel seemed a little like a newer Motel 6 with a fancy exterior but again, not a resort but reasonably priced for reasonable accommodations. No complaints

Our room was comfortable, we had a desk surface to work at, plenty of space to store refrigerator foods and the staff was so friendly and helpful, they even stored my blue ice for me in their freezer overnight. The coffee and decaffeinated coffee were good too!

The hotel is located within a shopping complex so it's not an ideal location, but it was convenient to the main road out of town so it wasn't much of an issue for us.

I met some wonderful people during my 2 week stay. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was hot and fresh, it was peaceful, quiet. All around just a wonderful friendly, clean environment.

The elevator would often times not work but there is always the stairs. On my last day there I asked for a stay over til about 5pm, I was denied that. I figured they would accompany me being I had been there for 2 weeks and the amount of money I had spent but I ended up having to pay for another day.

Commode seat needed replacement. Room was a handicapped room which I had not requested. But that was OK. I didn’t particularly like the shower since it was for a handicapped person. Overall, it was a good place to stay. I had never stayed at a Microtel motel and would stay there again.

The room was clean and all the staff was very friendly. They even had trays of cookies, veggies, cheese and crackers out one evening as it was Auburn's Homecoming and Parents' Weekend. We weren't at the hotel much, but overall it was a good stay.

Value. I felt completely price gouged. $900 for 2 nights at this hotel is absolutely ridiculous. Especially when you look online and see that when it isn't a game weekend or parents' weekend, the price is between $80-$90 per night. It is taking advantage of parents.

The facility was very clean and affordable. The rooms are spacious and really nice. The staff were very professional and helpful and the continental breakfast was fresh and good. I will definitely stay here when I come to Opelika, Alabama 😁 Thank you for helping me and my mom have a wonderful vacation.

Drove from Florida for the weekend and amazed with the hotel. The location is secluded and worth the price. Breakfast was 6-9, free wifi, free appetizers on some days & there’s a pool. Our room was clean/ bed and pillows beyond comfortable. Not to mention did not feel unsafe at anytime. Most definitely will be returning when I come to Alabama again.

Renovation/ work being done which limited parking in front of building for later hours of arriving. Still would definitely recommend this hotel!

It was very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding.

I booked 3 rooms and they were in 3 different areas, with one room being on another floor and was told we couldn't get the rooms near each other because they were already assigned when we arrived. The air in our room 202 didn't work properly and we had to go buy a fan to cool off our room. We had to pay for each room separately and all were in my name.
