The location of the hotel was good and was in a reasonably good part of town (Newtown) which had many options in terms of restaurants, food, shops etc. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of variety in the food available. We also visited the Mactan Newtown beach (free shuttle from the hotel lobby) which was rather nice for swimming and relaxing.

We encountered a little noise from other apartments but not too much. Also our TV remote would turn off the SKY signal box that would control the channels, but we were unable to turn off the TV itself without turning it off at the wall socket.

Breakfast was good and a nice variety of foods. Very happy with the service

I didn’t like people trying to sell me something every time I went to or left the lift areas.

I only stayed for a night for layover so the location was very handy and it was only a 10-15 mins drive to the airport. The hotel is also close like walkable to some restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy etc. The bed is comfortable. This was my 2nd time staying in the hotel and I always found the staff to be helpful.

Very minor things I didn't like. The rooms could do with an upkeep, like some of the paint on the wall was bubbling/peeling, the bathroom could do a deep deep clean as there's limescale build up on the tiles and I didn't like shower curtain. There's only a set of blackout curtains, so the hotel on the other side can see through the window. A sheer curtain would really help bring in natural light.

Ive stayed at Savoy for more than a dozen times. And let me tell you, that place feels like a second home. The staff is probably my most favorite part of my every stay. They have the best & most contagious energy! It helps that Ive been a patron for so long, that they can recognize my car from afar. But this recent visit is probably the best one yet, because the amazing staff of Savoy put together a special birthday surprise for me. So, shoutout to SHAM & the rest of the staff, you guys made my time away from home, the best one yet.

Nucw hotel to enjoy. Free shuttle to go to a private beach, various breakfast, clean and comfy. Cebu city is not the best location to visit the island itself but if you want to stay around the city and close to the airport is perfect. Nice gym and pool. Good price. Staff always very kind.

The idea of the concept of the hotel itself is good, there is lack of organisation. I ask for the shuttle airport/hotel and they answered basically at the end of my stay. The forget a lot of thing like to replace towels in the room, to bring the eggs you ordered. There is no one , never, at the tour desk reception and if you want to join the spa, half the option they have is not available.

Clean hotel. Fast check in and check out.

We wanted to order a bucket of ice thru room service. We phoned every possible department but no one is answering. Until several minutes later, my partner decided to go down the reception and guess what, the staff verbalised he didn't hear any phone ring. Imagine if it was an emergency and the phone isn't working, how bad could it have been.

As a couple, we loved staying at Savoy Mactan Hotel not only for its comfortable rooms, great amenities, and welcoming staff, but because it became part of one of the most important days of our lives — it’s where we got engaged! The location was perfect, close to great dining options like Choobi Choobi, where we enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner to celebrate. Everything about our stay felt intimate, joyful, and unforgettable.

Room was spacious enough. The 2 walls that had floor to ceiling glass did help a lot with the appeal to the room for the price that you pay. For travels, the room had ample space to lay out 3 huge suitcases which was a plus.

Contrary to the room being spacious, it lacked space in the bathroom. I've never felt so cramped in the toilet. I stayed in the hotel by myself but if 2 guests were to stay, I highly doubt the bathroom capacity is 2 people friendly. And if I may add, the robes that were provided by the hotel were Tiny Asian sized. It was hardly covering me up. They could have done better on small details like these.

I liked the room everything is clean, swimming pool is good,we enjoyed swimming,hotel staff very humble and kind.

The last time we stay in hotel last end of March 2023 was really good the breakfast buffet I mean we liked the food we enjoyed, it's worth it. But my concern this time to be honest the breakfast buffet is really bad, It looks like carenderia food, it's better to eat outside like MacDonald's, Jollibee etc., I'm sorry just to be honest,I hope you can upgrade/improve the breakfast buffet,I mean it's not worth it the amount we payed for the breakfast buffet.

Everything! From the accommodating staff, to the nearby hotel beach, to our packed breakfast, to our morning breakfast...it was excellent for a very reasonable price! There was a van offered to pick us up at the airport and was "roomy." All the luggages were sent to our rooms, plus of course I have no problem tipping the staff. They were amazing and personable! The lobby was world-class! Fruit-infused water was readilly available upon arrival for the guests. Tours were also offered. I had no idea they offered island tours close to our hotel. Next to the hotel are restaurants, of different cuisines. Love it! The walk around the area is definitely safe for foreigners and guests. I'll definitely come back to this hotel. I love it! And oh, they offer very late check out for those who have a later flight for a fee. It's worth it if you want to catch a few hours of sleep before flying. I had an excellent stay at Savoy. I'm going back for sure!
